Liars and thieves!

Liars and thieves! Ordered 3 pairs of Ugg boots, received a cheap pair of men’s shoes. Told me I had to return item to get my money back, I returned instore, manager had to phone head office to sort refund, they promised it had been processed.. i never got a refund even after 6 weeks! Chased this up numerous times, they then said I didn’t return the Uggs so they couldn’t refund my £350! Took an unbelievable amount of times contacting them, such a waste of my time it was unreal! Had to go back & ask instore to keep their cctv footage of me returning item, and had to threaten with small claims court. Worst company EVER!!! OFFICE, if you read my review, do not bother replying with a fake “sorry”, if you are actually sorry, you can start by compensating me with the £10.50 in parking charges I’ve had to incur to visit your store on 3 occasions. Let’s not even mention the hours I’ve wasted sorting this issue, 99.5% of your staff (I’m being generous here) are incompetent, and just don’t care!

not happy with responses

Bought some Nike TL Shoxs for my son for Christmas, couldn’t find them in his size anywhere online or in store. Office had the best price and offered next day delivery. I did panic when I saw the trust pilot reviews after ordering! And I did try to send a message to office on Facebook- that wouldn’t send, and contact their chatbot but this took too long to reply so I didn’t get an answer. I had placed my order on Sunday afternoon for next day delivery, email said this would be Tuesday, Monday I got an email to say that my order had been dispatched, Tuesday I got an email to say my order would be delivered via yodel on Wednesday and all the tracking info. Shoes came at the time slot they said and were perfect, exactly what I ordered!

Terrible customer service

Yodel did not deliver and parcel declared lost. Office took two further days to declare the parcel lost but only found this out via live chat. They didn’t actually respond to the email I sent asking what was happening. Refund promised but still waiting. Don’t use office, go somewhere else as their communications and system are diabolical

See previous review on 8th November! Office very cleverly put a note underneath saying get in touch so it looks to other customers they are trying to assist!! They are NOT!! I responded immediately with the information they requested and I have heard nothing from them at all!! Their customer service is non existent and it’s a real ahame to see such a big company have zero service, I guess it is a sign of the times that customers just do not matter anymore!

Customer service is shambolic, I have been robbed

Customer service is shambolic. Returned some trainers as they weren’t suitable. I have now been waiting 17 days for a refund but every time I contact customer service, I receive the same scripted reply, which is not helpful at all. I have provided proof of return in the form of a receipt and constantly told to ‘wait another 24 hours’. When I requested the complaints procedure, all I got was “complaints are handled by customer service”. I asked to make a complaint and guess what? “Complaints are handled by customer service”. Absolutely shocking ! I have even contacted yodel who have confirmed the parcel is missing and have said office need to file a claim with them. I even sent office this screenshot but guess what? Wait another 24 hours. I feel robbed as I’m now £144 down, thanks a bunch Office! AVOID. WISH I READ THESE REVIEWS BEFORE ORDERING.

The worst customer service I’ve ever…

John Richens, managing director you ought to be ashamed! The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I ordered HOKA running shoes, the wrong colour were sent to me which I returned via their website. They then contacted me to say they weren’t their shoes 🤷🏼‍♀️. Six months later I’ve finally got them to at least return the shoes I don’t want but I have to pay for that. I will never shop with office again

Beware

Beware, they more than likely will take your money and leave you without what you’ve ordered for weeks . Disgusting customer service, terrible communication. My daughter ordered trainers for next day delivery weeks ago and still not received her order. Apparently they have gone missing twice with no attempt to even deliver. Apparently investigating this takes a week at least l. No communication from them and couldn’t give a dam. My advice would be buy from Jd sports or an alternative retailer. Because Office falls very short and you more will not receive the goods you ordered or a refund for several weeks.

Vat double charge

Ordered shoes online on UK site. Was charged vat on import into Ireland which I was aware of. However was also charged UK vat. Office Shoes online system should not charge UK vat on export. I will not be purchasing from them again.

Withholding my refund for shoes I never received

I ordered an item from Office Shoes and went to collect it in store and was told it wasn’t in stock and I would receive a refund. Nearly three months later, I am still waiting. I’ve contacted customer service repeatedly, and all I receive are generic responses saying they are “investigating,” with no actual updates or progress. No one seems to take ownership of the issue, and I have not received my refund for an item I never received. This is completely unacceptable. I will now have now had to escalate the matter through other channels and through my bank because customer service is useless. I’ve been completely robbed. You’d think a big store would have decent customer service, but seeing their dreadful rating on TrustPilot, I can see they’re a scammy company. I strongly advise others to be cautious when ordering from Office Shoes, this has completely put me off shopping with them again.

I would strongly advise against anyone…

I would strongly advise against anyone ordering from office if you actually want to recieve your item and nothing but excuses! I have recently ordered a pair of trainers from office which yodel delivered and as I wasn't in they emailed to say they would redeliver the following day. The next day there was no redelivery so I went to track the parcel and requested a day I knew I would be home and still did not receive anything. I contacted office on 10th November and was told they would raise it with yodel and they would update me within 48 hours which is fair. However after that time I had to email to be told I still had to wait I was then given a 5 working day time frame so that takes me to 17th November to now be told to wait another 24/48 hours. When I asked to escalate and a complaints procedure apparently there isn't one and it's all customer service team so nobody higher considering iv been given 3 time frames which haven't been upheld nobody is accountable! The item ordered in good faith is a sale item which is running low on stock and something I have promised my son for Christmas. The customer service is nonexistent and I feel so disappointed! Please try and find somewhere else to buy from because they do not care!

Shoes incorrectly packaged causing damage

Ordered a pair of Birkenstocks as a gift, wrong size arrived - had to pay to return myself and reorder. Second pair arrived completely unwrapped with the tissue paper just at the bottom of the box, meaning the leather was all scratched up. I asked for a discount as I didn’t want to return AGAIN which was denied and I was told I’d need to return and reorder, for a third time. There was nothing wrong with the shoes other than the aesthetic of the leather, why would I risk them being sent back and destroyed when they could have just given me some money off a higher end product? Office customer practices has absolutely gone to the dogs. Also takes WEEKS for an order to arrive and even longer for a return and refund.

Following on from my last review I have…

Following on from my last review I have since had an email saying refund will only be part amount not the full amount, how when you lost the item an I never recieved it please someone advise on what can be done about this company being allowed to get away with this. No one ever answers, I was asked on last review send info I did and no one has contacted me. Will report to trading standards but any other advice would help. ### Thank you for actually responding! I had to yet again chase your company, even though it finally returned my money but deductes the delivery charge even though i never even recieved the item, how bad is that for customer care, if i was a person who did not chase up when things are not right then i would not have recieved my money back!!!! This has been an absolute disgrace, was part of my daughters 16th birthday presents and she never recieved them, which has made me so upset. I was offered 10% discount code as an apology ha that is laughable.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service! Ordered sandals on the 31st October. Yodel tracking not updated for days then on the 7th November the tracking said the sandals were too damaged to be delivered. I contacted Office on Sat 8th, they refused a refund and stated they would investigate with yodel and be back to me in 48hrs. I heard nothing so contacted office again. They said the sandals are still out for delivery ( despite yodel stating they’re too damaged) I have emailed office yesterday & today and their responses remain frustrating! Still under investigation! The yodel tracking hasn’t been updated in days. I would definitely not order shoes from office again. They’ve taken my money but I haven’t received the goods. Office is responsible for the delivery of my sandals and therefore should issue a refund!

Poor customer service

I very rarely leave a negative review because I understand everyone has off days. That being said, I’ve never had such a rude and bad customer service as I did today. The customer service personnel, Cameron, when I asked if my order an hour previous could be cancelled or the delivery address amended said no and that I would need to essentially wait for the delivery to fail and be sent back. I said I appreciated there was nothing he could do and asked if I could speak to a manager and he said there was no point and the outcome would not change. I said nevertheless I would be grateful if I could have their information. At this point he said “we’re sorry that you chose the wrong delivery address but there’s nothing I can do” which I completely understand I caused the problem, but just felt a little uncalled for! I then asked for a reference of the conversation I could provide so the management could refer back to our conversation and he refused, he only said I could use my order number as a reference when I confirmed I would just screenshot for managements background of the issue. Overall, while I appreciate not all issues can be resolved a bit of sympathy or willingness to try and see if they can help goes a long way.

I am still waiting for my refund it has…

I am still waiting for my refund it has now been 14 days since I ordered my trainers and yodel delivered to an unknown address and office not doing anything I have contacted citizens advice regarding this company and they have reported to trading standards and I urge all of you to do the same they should not be able to operate like this and these stupid replies they keep putting under each review saying sorry to hear this I will private you is just a pretence.

Awful experience with this company

Awful experience with this company. Yodel marked order as delivered around 7pm in the evening well over a week ago. I have been back and forth chasing customer service. Initially them telling me to wait a further 24 hours for an update (this went on for 5 days!!!!) They are now telling me yodel cannot explain where my order is so I have to make a claim, but won’t let me make it filling the form digitally, I have to print. I ask for the form and for 3 days I get told someone will email it to me soon. I’ve chased again today to be told someone will email it to me within 7-10 days????? Absolutely not acceptable. I’m £90 out of pocket and I want my money back!
