The product worked easy enough to program keys for a 2016 Mazda CX 5 (listed as a compatible car on their list). The problem I had was after both keys were cut prior to programing
and after they were programmed and fully functional(both keys remote started and locked/unlocked vehicle with that being the only key inside car after programming. So I know they worked). After a couple of hours I decided to run to the store, got in the car using one of my spares now and it started up great like it should. After I came out of the store, I got in the vehicle and it wouldn't start. The key fob worked locking and unlocking the car, but wouldn't allow you to just "push the start engine" button. I finally figured out sitting there a few minutes that I could take the fob and use it to press the start engine button and the car started. I came home and called customer service and explained everything to the lady I spoke with on what I had, did, and told her everything worked as it should and the other fob worked great. I just had that one issue with the one fob. She asked me where I bought the fobs, I told her Amazon and the name of the company, and she said that the company I bought the fobs from through Amazon was not a recognized vendor, wasn't compatible to use, and that my fobs were no good. I would have to buy keys through them. I explained myself again, and told her that the fobs worked great except for the one fob not letting me just push the start engine button with my finger, I had to use the fob and press the button so it couldn't be that, the other fob works great. She showed no interest in helping me figure out the issue and just asked if there was anything else she could do (stuck on her position of having to buy keys through them) and I plainly told her she didn't care or have any interest in helping a customer troubleshoot the problem and I hung up on her. I gave 3 stars because the product worked like it said, but what they don't tell you is that the fobs may not work like they should later on (doesn't matter where you buy them, if they are compatible, they will work). Their customer service is hell bent on cornering the market on all of the parts for said vehicle and won't acknowledge the fact that there are other products out there that costs less and works as they should. The 2 spare fobs I bought on Amazon were and are compatible for my car. I will not buy any fobs from them and will continue to use the ones I have. Both work fine but the one you have to use it to push the start button. Anyways I got spares now which was worth the price and not having to shell out hundreds of dollars at a dealer. I can live with this but poor customer service I cannot. Remember, you buy it, you own it don't expect any help from this company, they suck!!
