Battery lasted only 8 months
Had a remote key programmed about 8 months ago. Increasingly over time, the key worked only intermittently. When a Car Keys Express truck was at a Costco we happened to be at, we asked about the issue and we're told it's a battery problem. I buy a battery, open the fob successfully but the battery holder broke in trying to remove the battery. (Did not see any instruction on the website on how to do it). In any case, the fob won't hold a battery any longer and is shot.
