Austin Texas area.
At a Costco event, was told the key would be ready when I was done shopping. When I go to collect it, I was informed they don't actually have the key and need to order it (or accept a knock off that they would still need time to program). I asked how they'd program it since they told me it would take awhile to arrive and the event would be over - they told me to call them and they'd meet me at this location when they arrived. I decided to order as I had somewhere to be.
Keys arrived almost two weeks later. Couldn't get a hold of anyone for the first day. Eventually someone contacted me and asked me to come to a far away location --- I was at work and asked about closer locations. They gave me a time and date and asked if I could meet then (after a weekend). I agreed.
I showed up. Found their van in the parking lot. It was empty. I called, msg went to voicemail. I waited for 10 mins before entering Costco to inquire --- as I was on my lunch break. They said it would only take ten mins before.
I then text the lady, Monica, who texts me they're busy working on another car and will return.
I get a refund because I have to leave and it's been over 40 mins. She calls asking about the car key, lol, and also unprofessionally responded. Obviously I left it with Costco. Horrible communication and service.
