Payoneer Reviews

registered my account (Viktoriia Moroz) on September 10th, but it's completely stuck on the welcome screen saying "We are verifying your account. This usually takes a few minutes". It's been weeks and I have no access to the dashboard or settings to fix this. Please review my registration application manually. My ID Customer: 106643553

Mon compte est bloqué pendant deux j'envoie mon mail a payoneer mais j'ai aucune réponse

Extremely disappointing experience — account closed with no explanation, and customer service is not taking accountability I opened a Payoneer account as an individual freelancer to receive payments for my work. During registration, I accidentally entered the wrong city ("Multan" instead of my actual city). I corrected this myself through the platform and resubmitted every document requested — multiple times, including my CNIC and a utility bill as proof of address. Despite doing everything asked of me and cooperating fully, my account was closed a few days later with a vague message citing "activity that does not align with our Terms and Conditions" — no specific reason was ever given, and I was told the decision was "final" and could not be appealed. I never sent or received a single payment through this account. There was no transaction history at all. The only "activity" was my own registration and repeated document verification — a process their own system caused to repeat multiple times by failing to save my corrected address. What made this worse was their customer care. For the first several emails, I received nothing but generic, templated responses that did not address anything I explained. I had to identify every single issue myself — the address not saving properly, the utility bill confusion (MEPCO is simply the name of the electricity provider, not my address) — Payoneer's support did nothing on their own to investigate. Only after three days of continuous effort and repeated emails did they finally agree to escalate my case to a higher team. It has now been over 24 hours since that escalation, and I still have not received any further update. Payoneer's customer service has not once acknowledged that this was caused by a failure in their own system. All of the effort to identify and explain the actual problem came from me, not them. I would strongly caution other freelancers, especially from Pakistan, about relying on Payoneer as your only payment platform.

These guys still reviewing my Business Questionnaire for 3 months + They couldnt evaluate my Business Profile since 10 days... That is why I cannot get my payments for my work since 3 months! Such slow and irresponsible customer service. No solution but much more problems!

TERRIBLE. Their "customer service" is a joke. You ask them to close your account via a form and then they send you an email asking you to fill out the SAME form. Their automated system checks off your request as 'completed' and your account never gets closed. Intentional and deceptive.

Unprofessional support that can't identify a problem, let alone solve it. Payoneer advertises Hotmart as an official integration partner. When the integration with my business account failed, Hotmart told me the issue was on Payoneer's side. Payoneer support didn't investigate anything. No diagnosis, no explanation, no attempt to find the cause. They simply told me to go back to Hotmart. This is the definition of unprofessional: a company that sells a partner integration but has no idea how to troubleshoot it, and whose support team's only skill is pushing the customer somewhere else. I gave up and set up a direct bank payout instead, which worked without Payoneer. If you're a business relying on Payoneer to receive platform payouts, be aware that when something breaks, you're on your own.

Very disappointing experience with Payoneer. My account was closed/disabled without clearly explaining the specific reason or violation. I repeatedly contacted Customer Care and provided the requested verification documents, but I kept receiving the same generic response instead of a proper explanation or meaningful resolution. After being a customer for around 2 years, I expected much better communication and support. I am extremely dissatisfied with how my case has been handled.

Pessima esperienza è circa un mese che cerco di accedere al mio conto ma invano. Assistenza clienti digitalizzata e peraltro tutto in inglese.

Payoneer support agent Melaniia closed my old account application due to document verification limits. Following instructions, I submitted a new application (Customer ID: 107055615) to receive my tutoring earnings from Preply. Now both accounts are locked! Support says they cannot manually close the old one or unlock the new one (107055615) because of an "active security review" loop created by their own automated system. I am a real user ready to submit my identity verification (Azerbaijani ID and Azərişıq utility bill). Please have a senior Compliance Specialist manually review Customer ID 107055615 and grant access!

Criminal company. They stole 30 USD from my account as an annual fee, while they already charge high fees from my payments. They don't deserve any business. Give my money back you scum, criminal scum

Very high fees to access my own earnings I receive regular USD payments through Payoneer and have become increasingly frustrated with the cost of accessing my earnings. Payoneer currently charges me a 4% withdrawal fee. For example, on a $1,000 withdrawal, I was charged $40. On a recent proposed withdrawal of $1,268, Payoneer quoted me a fee of $50.72. Initially, I thought these costs might be associated with currency conversion or fees charged by the receiving bank. However, I confirmed that the receiving bank was not charging me for these transfers. I then tested withdrawals to approved USD-denominated bank accounts, expecting the fee to be substantially lower since no currency conversion would be involved. Payoneer still quoted exactly the same 4% fee. I have contacted Payoneer several times, provided detailed examples and asked them to review the withdrawal rate applied to my account. Unfortunately, I have now been told that the rate cannot be reduced or negotiated. I have also found the customer-service experience frustrating. Responses have taken time, and several specific questions I asked about alternative ways of accessing my funds and reducing these costs were not initially answered. I understand that financial services charge fees, but 4% every time I withdraw money I have earned is a substantial recurring expense. For someone receiving regular payments, these charges add up very quickly. I find this particularly disappointing when there are numerous international money-transfer and payment services available today offering faster transfers and substantially lower fees. In my own experience using other services, the difference in cost has been considerable. In today's competitive international payments market, a recurring 4% charge simply to access my earnings feels extremely expensive. I would strongly encourage anyone considering Payoneer to check the exact withdrawal fees applicable to their individual account before deciding to rely on the service for regular payments. I hope Payoneer will reconsider its fee structure and provide greater transparency and more reasonably priced options for customers who regularly receive their earnings through the platform.

I've been a Payoneer customer for years, using it to receive payments from legitimate freelance platforms. My account was suddenly closed, and when I asked for the specific reason, Payoneer only referred me to their general "Terms and Conditions" and "Prohibited Transactions" list, without ever explaining which specific activity triggered the closure. I was never given a chance to clarify, provide additional documentation, or resolve whatever the concern was. Payoneer's own email stated I "cannot use their services anymore," with no appeal process offered. For two years, I have tried to resolve this through their support channels, but no solution has been provided. This has directly affected my ability to receive payments from clients and platforms that only support Payoneer. I would urge freelancers to be aware that if Payoneer flags your account, you may be locked out with no explanation and no clear path to resolution.

App schifosa, commissioni da ufficio inchieste su un pagamento PayPal ci sono presi 21 euro roba da matti, da galera. Mai più questo scempio.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Payoneer. I registered using my real personal information and submitted the documents requested for verification. I currently live in Vietnam, provided my valid passport, my Vietnamese bank account details, and an official bank document confirming that I am a customer of the bank and showing my local address. I also answered the registration questions honestly. I clearly stated that I do not currently have a registered business. I did not attempt to hide anything, provide false information, create fraudulent transactions, or misuse the service in any way. Despite this, Payoneer permanently closed my account after what they described as an “internal investigation.” Their explanation was that “certain activity on the account did not align with Payoneer’s Terms and Conditions and Prohibited Transactions.” The problem is that they refused to tell me what activity they were referring to. They did not identify: - any transaction that violated their rules; - any incorrect information that I submitted; - any document they considered invalid; - any specific provision of the Terms and Conditions that I allegedly violated; - any prohibited transaction I allegedly conducted; - or any action I could take to clarify or correct the issue. Instead, I was simply told that the details of their investigation cannot be disclosed. Even more concerning, Payoneer informed me that the decision is final, cannot be reversed, and that any future application from me will also be declined. In other words, I have effectively been permanently banned from Payoneer while being given no meaningful opportunity to understand what I supposedly did wrong. I specifically asked whether the decision was related to my Russian citizenship or to the fact that my husband and I had the same phone number associated with our accounts. Payoneer stated that neither of these was the reason. However, they still refused to provide any alternative explanation. This leaves me in an absurd situation: Payoneer claims that I violated or failed to comply with its rules, but will not tell me which rule, which action, or which piece of information was problematic. I understand that financial companies have AML, fraud-prevention, sanctions-compliance and internal risk-management obligations. I also understand that they may sometimes decide not to provide services to a particular customer. What I do not consider acceptable is presenting such a decision as if the customer had violated the Terms and Conditions while refusing to provide even the most basic information necessary for the customer to understand the allegation. There is an important difference between: “We have decided that we do not want to provide services to you because of our internal risk assessment” and “Your activity did not comply with our Terms and Conditions / Prohibited Transactions.” If Payoneer is making the second claim, customers should at least be told what category of violation allegedly occurred. Otherwise, there is no way to distinguish an actual violation from a false positive, an automated compliance flag, an incorrect risk assessment, or an error in the verification process. I provided genuine documents, accurate personal information, a legitimate Vietnamese bank account, and my real residential address. To the best of my knowledge, I did not violate Payoneer’s rules. Yet I have apparently been permanently excluded from the platform without being told what I actually did. This complete lack of transparency is the reason for my negative review. I would strongly advise anyone considering Payoneer to understand that an account can apparently be permanently closed based on an internal review, with no specific explanation provided and no meaningful possibility of appeal!

I considered the service in Sept 2021. They were a poor fit, so I requested the deletion of my account and removal of my data. They said their data retention entitled them to keep my data for five years. Last month (Sept 2026) I checked. My account is still existant and payoneer still refuses to delete it. They refuse to delete your data.

dont like their service.

Terrible customer service they are not cooperating and refuse to unbind my account very disappointed

I have been locked out of my account for a week and they are still asking me for more information. This company runs like a scam. The customer service is almost non existent. I am suffering with financial difficulties as I cannot access my account but there uis zero urgency from Payoneer. This has happened to me numerous times.

Everytime when I'm trying to login its takes a lit of times a d so stressful. When happens some issue they respond next day and it's can continue more than 3 month without any results. Even if you speak with support they can't reserve the issue and ask for a lot of additional information. Support never helps and working against the client. Very complicated system to verify your account. They never notify fir any changes in the system. NOT REGOMENDED AT ALL!
