I had an SI joint and hip issue for nearly a year and a half when I found Core Balance Training. I had dumped thousands of dollars down the drain with a traditional physical therapist (who said form & engagement didn't matter just do the exercise) and a chiropractor who twisted and tweaked me into temporary relief. Although I didn't get immediate relief, somewhere Dr. Ryan made a comment that S.I. joint pain is a long game. Glad I caught that. It made me more patient with the process and program. Now, this program only works if you the participant actually pay attention and DO IT. Pay good attention to the instruction not to engage secondary muscles that take away from the core build. This all takes persistance and practice. It's extremely valuable resource to ask questions to the supporting staff in the comment section that come with the daily exercise. They are top notch helpers and this program wouldn't be as great without them. ALSO take the time for the meetup on YouTube. Dr. Ryan is amazing with his explanations of why something hurts and how to fix it. He has pinpointed the way to healing. When I completed my three month subscription my S.I. was about 70% better. It took me a couple months after the program ended but I was able to completely fix my issue with daily diligence. He had also mentioned he used a turmeric supplement in one of his convos. I grabbed one of those as well and it seemed to help the inflammation. I continue to do the exercises a few times a week. If I neglect time for myself to strenghthen this weekness, it tries to sneak back up on me. Lastly and I discovered this a bit to late since my app for the program expired when I cancelled but there is a FAQ section that was so helpful, I skimmed what I could in the last day I had my subscription. I appreciated the affordability of the program and that is actually worked, I can't give enough thanks to you CBT! Life is better now.
Core Balance Training is excellent. I enjoyed it very much and I plan on continuing by going through the whole thing again. I appreciate that they offer an alumni rate for after you finish the program. I've really benefited a lot and I think the way that Ryan teaches the program is outstanding!
This program is the real deal. It is written by an actual doctor of physical therapy, the content is extremely well designed and easy to follow, and it is delivered in consumable and immediately actionable, bite-size pieces. It's very approachable and effective. and Dr. Peebles holds office hours on Zoom if you need help.
Core Balance Training gave me hope for a healthier future. This is not a training to be taken quickly. If you are dedicated to give your 100% 15 minutes a day with the techniques that are taught and make time to walk in Phase II, you will see results and have less pain. I did it twice a day and I received 75% relief from pain after Phase II. Some days I have no pain at all, where as, prior I had pain every day and night without relief. This training will stay with you for a lifetime of healthy movement and stronger lifestyle. It teaches you how to train your body to move the way we were meant to move prior to the poor habits we developed throughout a stressful life. I am very grateful.
Dr Ryan Peebles presents a comprehensive program which is designed to help anyone with back issues by strengthening core muscles in a specific way. The program takes a step by step approach with each day building on previous learning. All individual questions are answered promptly and in great detail. I took 12 weeks to complete the program which consisted of completing 20 minutes of exercise every day and going for a 30 minute walk. Some students take it more slowly but there is no pressure either way. The demonstration videos are clear and easy to follow. I highly recommend this program for anyone with any kind of back issue.
Excellent program. If you suffer from back pain and find it difficult to do any sort of core strengthening, this is for you. You start small, and build on that but only if you’re ready. Dr. Peebles explains everything in detail. If you have questions, he has an excellent team to provide support. You have to try it !

Dr Ryan's well designed program that explains the anatomy of the back and muscles. This helped me understand the importance of core muscle training in supporting and strengthening the back. Posture is important. Weekly online consultation kept me updated and learned new tips on back protection and core muscle development their learning platform allowed me to interact with the team for any questions and also allowed me to interact with fellow participants.
It works! I have spondyithesis, degenerative disk disease, moderate disk bulges and have been having pain for 6 years. I tried another Instagram influencer’s program and even paid hundreds of dollars with him for privates, but it didnt help even close to as much as the CBT program. After a few weeks I noticed positive changes, and after two months things were feeling massively better. Over three months now since starting, Ive finished the program and still have to do maintenance, but the difference is night and day. The exercises in the program and how they were explained helped me engage those muscles that were underdeveloped and causing me issues in my lower back. Learning how to properly walk from this program has changed my outlook on walking. I used to loathe it, now I enjoy it, especially knowing it helps balance my back out. Super grateful for this program. I’m now back to doing jiu jitsu 3-4x/week and surfing with very little issue. Thank you Dr. Ryan!
The results of this program have been terrific. The core strengthening exercises and focus on posture have helped me overcome debilitating back pain. This program requires a consistent time commitment each day but it has allowed me to avoid pursuing a surgical solution. Definitely worth a try.
The program works! After only 4 weeks I realised how my body is shifting and after 4 months I was almost pain free (SI joint pain). The team was always friendly, competent and fast in response.
I loved that this was online, yet also supported through being able to ask questions through emails as well as a weekly Student Newsletter. Ryan was an excellent teacher, explaining and showing things in great detail. I loved how he went slow and easy, not rushing you through too much at once. The daily emails kept me accountable and the exercises were very helpful. I had learned some of these exercises previously in physical therapy, but his little tweaks were most helpful, guiding me in doing them 'correctly.' I love how he guided us in everyday usage of what we were learning. The fact that he speaks from experience was most encouraging.
Excellent program for me and my back pain and problems. I completed all 11 weeks and did every exercise , every one of which was beneficial to me. I love Dr Peeble’s videos and approach, professional but low key and positive. All staff members were positive and helpful as well. I highly recommend giving it a try, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
After just 2 months of very doable work every day and my pain was basically gone and my posture was so much improved. Really exceptional program. Takes you back to basic movement function in a life changing way!
I completed the program. I began at the end of June. One of the best things I’ve ever done. A real physical therapist who for years personally suffered with issues involving his back, etc., designed this program to help heal a myriad of back-related issues and teach participants how to get stronger and stay safer moving forward. The course design is clearly explained before one signs up. It’s also designed to move at a safe pace because everyone heals in a different way and in a different timeframe, depending on their personal concerns. The handful of people who have written in complaining that there isn’t a new active stretch introduced daily may not have stepped foot into the office of a physical therapist. I challenge anyone who states that for almost 90 days straight, a physical therapist will assign a unique daily activity to perform. At a physical therapist’s office, which I have been to Many times over the years for general low back pain, I was given a handful of exercises to perform for a month and then returned to the office to asses progress. I have never been given for a month one unique new exercise to perform daily . This Core Balance Training (CBT) program includes daily instructions with weekly movements/exercises and other useful techniques that build on one another and are ordered the way they are for the most healthful outcome. It is rich with information, advice, support, and instruction, at a price, in program total, that a person would probably pay at just the first visit for an assessment in a physical therapist’s office. Why this online program? Some people don’t want to be manhandled in an office or aren’t quite ready for that. Some people want to supplement what they are getting in a physical office and or compare to see which one is actually working better for . them. Others don’t want to commute. Everything about the CBT program makes sense. I started out with an acute sacroiliac joint dysfunction, where I walked looking practically like a crab, couldn’t even put my right leg all the way down without pressing my hip into the wall to help realign myself, couldn’t sit without pain, couldn’t walk without pain, And had to place my hand on my lower mid back and support it even if I had to go on a short walk - it’s the only way I could walk. With zero exaggeration, for my personal issue, I found relief beginning within the first week of this CBT program learning how to do a certain position that helped to stabilize that SI joint. That’s when I knew the program was for me, and I wanted to learn how to get even better and how to protect myself in the future so there is less of a chance I end up where I started. Being in this program was a pure joy from beginning to end, and I am going to stay in a couple more months because I want to keep reviewing and looking back over the modules. Some people stay on even longer. You gain so much knowledge in this program, so that when you go back and rewatch and read, there is an even greater understanding. After one concludes the program, an alumni rate is available, for those who want to stay in longer. I feel so great now that I’m back doing activities that I used to, and in a much safer way. I don’t have the pain anymore that I described above. I have zero complaints nor issues about any aspect of this program. I highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to get on track to healing; and just as importantly, the knowledge of how to not only prevent future injury, but also what to do when life happens if you get injured regardless of your best intentions. I thank Dr. Peebles for developing this incredible program along with his talented staff.
I can’t speak highly enough of this program. I found his videos on YouTube and found the free content so useful for my SI Joint inflammation. I had stopped my other workouts and sports which I realized were aggravating my injury and needed to go back to basics, which is exactly what this program is. Very quickly I realised that despite being very fit, I have not been using my deep core muscles at all. The training is so methodical, there is so much content provided, a great community to tap into if you want and step by step, day by day program that helped me so much in the initial 3 months of rehab for this injury. I cannot recommend this program more to anyone with a back or pelvis injury or issue. It seems simple but you’ll get a lot out of it and I found it easy to integrate into my day to day life.

Core Balance Training cured my low back sciatica issues! It is an excellent, thoughtful and personal program. I would recommend to anyone suffering with back pain. Dr. Ryan Pebbles and his team are responsive, knowledgeable and fantastic.
Hurt my back in May requiring me to go to urgent care to get a pain killer shot. Scrolled through IG and got an ad for CBT and decided to give it a shot. Figured worse case is I'm out $99 for the month, and best case is I'm cured. Well after 1.5 weeks of following the videos I was able to get rid of my rib flare that I've had for years! Progressing through the program I found that my core was getting stronger than ever and my back pain was relived. I was able to golf with no pain and squatting without losing connection b/w ribs/core/hips. 10/10 recommend this program. As long as you dedicate 15 minutes a day you will get results.
