Best ROI for back pain

Bottom line: it reduced my pain from 7-8 to 0-1. The program is very similar to standard PT but the emphasis on muscle awareness and slow progressions makes this a game changer. I recommend this for any and everyone who has back pain. Don't believe me? Just take it for the first month and see the benefit yourself.

Time and money well spent

I completed the program a week and a half ago and give it my full recommendation. The course is well thought out and the information and exercises are granular at level that clarified movements in a way I hadn't seen before. I've had sciatica for about 7 years and it's dramatically improved not only due to the course, but due to the way it teaches you to think about your body and analyze what helps. Between core balance training, cycling and a few other exercises I've picked up along the way, I've improved dramatically. On the negatives (far outweighed by the positives) are the difficulty, especially early on, to know you're doing the movements correctly. Also, Dr. Peebles Wednesday online Q&A while helpful, couldn't get to all the questions. All in all, it was time and money very well spent. The staff were EXTREMELY responsive and timely.

15 mins to feeling better!

I loved the program it was only 15 mins of your day and I really started feeling better which I never got out of traditional PT. Getting the emails daily was very helpful .

This program is a game changer

This program is a game changer. I found it online after repeated treatments at Physical Therapy didn't help my back. The program really focuses on the deep intrinsic muscles of the core and the glutes. You can make 15 minutes out of your day for this. You won't be sorry you did!

Great teacher

Program works - Policies do NOT

The body dynamics and strengthening exercises are spot on however, if you have an interruption in your ability to participate in the daily modules (travel, illness, injury, other life events...), there is no way to pause the training and or payments to restart where you left off. You just keep paying until you are able to restart... And if you decide to suspend/stop payments to heal and catch up, you lose access to all the training modules you completed and paid for... Ummm, that is not what I'd call a fair practice. I'm very disappointed and would have loved to continue but I'm not paying for services/products already purchased.

Excellent back health program

The program offers a three-month, step-by-step training of re-learning how to strengthen and use your core muscles in a healthy, beneficial way. Not only does the program deliver as promised, but it lays the foundation for continued improvement, or to maintain the gains made. It is NOT an instant cure, but those are almost always temporary. This creates a structure to follow, or to revisit, building your personal knowledge-base of what works best for you. I also found the support from the staff during the program to be timely, personal, and effective. I say this not as someone whose issues are gone, but rather someone who now feels equipped to progress toward a healthier, sustainable back, which then allows me to enjoy my active lifestyle.

Would benefit almost anyone!

Dr. Ryan has a gift for explaining subtle yet important details. His "perfect bridge" and related exercises required numerous baby steps to achieve, each building on the last, seamlessly. I have grade 2 spondylolisthesis at s1/l5. osteoarthritis throughout my spine and pelvis, and incredibly tight hip flexors. My chronic middle back pain, which has been plaguing me for 5+ years, went away within 2 weeks. My SI joint and hip joint pain gradually improved with each passing week. My hip flexor pain mostly resolved by week 7. My spondylolisthesis pain, which was debilitating, improved some, but particularly improved when walking or standing. I'm convinced it can improve more as I keep exercising. Before CBT, I tried PT, muscle relaxers, massage, and doing it on my own by watching various free YouTube videos. Nothing helped because nothing was addressing the complex set of problems underlying the pain. Dr Ryan has put an enormous amount of work into this program. Give it a try.

This is an honest program that does…

This is an honest program that does require an understanding that back health is a lifetime process. It will take you the full 3 months at $99 per month to get the full benefit, but in my opinion it's worth it. You cannot rush body awareness training and Dr. Ryan does a good job of telling that story and providing a program to guide you through your process. My only criticism really would just be that most of us do a lot of damage sitting at a desk all day long and I think there could be more focus on how to not undo the progress when at work.

Excellent program

This program has absolutely helped me reduce my back pain while providing abundant friendly, personal support and useful information. Very well structured tutorial videos backed by a knowledgeable staff who answer your questions in a timely and thorough manner. I will be referencing their lessons and information on a regular basis as I move forward.

Better than in-person Physical Therapy

CBT is the most effective, comprehensive, cost-efficient therapy system I've ever experienced for back problems. My friends warned me "there's no substitute for a good (in-person) physical therapist", but they were wrong. I gave CBT a try and it over-delivered. Their guarantee made it risk-free. One drawback: their advertised 15 minutes/day applies to exercises only. The daily instructional videos take another 2-10 minutes; the emotional support offerings, Q&A sections, and interesting extra videos can take up a half hour or more on any given day. Finding the time to fully benefit from the total experience was a challenge, because I only planned for 15-20 minutes.

This program virtually eliminated my back pain

I had made decent progress on my back pain in working with my local PT, but it was still problematic, especially during & after exercise & while trying to sleep at night. After completing Core Balance Training my back pain is essentially gone. Only a minor flare very occasionally. The slowness of the program was initially frustrating, but it definitely works. The company rapidly responds to any messages you send them and gives you ample reminders/time to know when your next payment is coming up so you can cancel before being surprised the renewal has happened. Great program.

Highly scientific based ,rooted in Dr Ryan's own experience, superb teaching skills ,videos & notes , personal guidence in weekly discussions,prompt team support for all our queries. All functioning is crystal clear and transparent . Above all Dr Ryan's effort and intention to make our life pain free ,confident self relient joyous through research based movement retraing program applicable to DAILY LIFE ACTIVITIES, GYM SPORTS YOGA .....& applicable to all ages ,stages of dysfunction ☆ I am and will be immensely greatful to Dr Ryan and his team for structuring & executing CBT. Shady Doctor Peebles

I completely agree w the next lower One Star, you pay $99.00 for one month of info and you can't keep the videos you have purchased until you finish the entire program at a cost of at least $1000 Save yourself $100 bucks buy a book on amazon...how to strength your inner core

Start with “baby steps” for a powerful core

The “baby steps” to build a solid core foundation, then adding layers to the point of daily functional movement are what made this program so effective. Using the concepts in other exercises or workout routines has made my back feel so much better, plus my posture has improved and I feel more powerful in my core.

I am so much stronger in now.

I am so much stronger in my core, back and glutes. I felt safe in all the exercises because I had all the same back conditions as Dr. Peebles. However, I had a 1 level spinal fusion in January 2024. I felt trust issues with other programs because they were doing moves I was instructed to avoid. When I found CBT online , a light went on for me. I watched as many videos as I could find with Dr. Peebles and tried several exercises before beginning the program. It was very helpful that he explained precisely how to correctly do the exercises and stretches. Also, how to walk, sit and stand. I am so grateful to Dr. Peebles for this program.
