Complete relief from back pain

I was recovering from a sciatica episode when I found this program and I started noticing the improvement in my body strength right after the second week. Now I'm pain free and intuitive use my core more where normally I'd have used my lower back. Also, now I finally understand what do people mean when they tell you to 'use your core'. I've been using the hip hinge and core anchors in my daily life too, while walking, climbing stairs, riding the subway or doing the daily chores, while breathing into my back. I'm very grateful for the core concepts you have taught me and hope to continue practicing them and applying to my other exercise routines.

Grateful

The program progresses slow in the beginning to allow one to focus on the position of ribs, abs, the core structure that the program centers on. This helps with habit building. I use the principles daily and have seen good improvement. I also have read the book recommendations, watched several YouTube videos, built a stand up desk out of boxes, and changed my length of time sitting. All this has given me awareness and improved my consuming pain. These changes were a direct result of my exposure and membership in CBT.

The best thing I did for my sciatica

It has been on my mind to write a review for Core Balance Training for awhile now. I took the class last April through June because was so desperate for relief of my sciatica which I had been dealing with for well over a year and a half. I was begging my husband to let me get surgery, but because his mom had such a bad experience, he was willing to let me try anything short of surgery. I was taking NSAIDSs daily and tried prednisone several times. I had 2 bouts of PT and cortisone shots and was looking up exercises and help on the internet everyday. Sometimes I would get better for a little while, only to re-aggraavate it within a few weeks. At my worst, I couldn't walk more than 5 steps without sitting, couldn't stand for more than a minute, and could not go out to do my shopping, let alone play my favorite sport pickleball. One day I was scrolling Instagram feeling very depressed. I came across Core Balance Training and figured why not give it a try? I found Dr. Peebles videos so helpful. He really explained things in a way that made me finally do many of the exercises I had tried in the past correctly. Instead of engaging my legs, I learned to properly engage my core. I learned to lift things properly and even sit, stand, and walk properly. It has become part of my everyday movement. To this day, I begin my day with my "back exercises," a 15-20 minute routine in which I put my favorite exercises from this program together. I am happy to say I have been pain free since last August and I never plan to go back, now that I have these tools and wisdom. I even play pickleball with my all at least 4 tines a week. Every time I see someone who struggles with back issues, I tell them CBT was a life saver and the best thing I ever did for my back.

I can’t say enough good about this…

I can’t say enough good about this program. I got relief after just a few days and as I stuck with it, I kept getting better and better. Dr. Peebles presents the information in a clear way with detailed demonstration and personalized follow up. It was worth every penny!! I’m virtually pain-free, and finally have my life back!

Will cut the membership off the instant you stop autopay

I was doing the program and decided to stop the auto pay. I have two weeks left on what I paid for and I immediately lost access. I paid on February 19 and today is March 2nd and I no longer have access. They say you have to stop autopay 7 days before billing cycle. It also says that you will get the time you paid for. This is obviously not true. I would have continued the program later, I was just having a hard time keeping up. I will edit this if they make it right. Edit: They responded and reinstated my membership. They also gave me an extra week. This was a glitch in their system apparently. They were very nice and responsive.

A Really Great Program

The program starts slow and gently guides you along. I was amazed at how I actually progressed and felt better from the first day. I love the Live Q&A sessions. Dr Ryan Peeples is a master at what he teaches. There's a saying which describes these sessions: "The WHAT informs, but the WHY transforms". I loved the program. There are no hidden agendas, everything including payments are very upfront. I totally recommend this program to everyone, even if you don't have lower back problems it will help your body move better.

I found Core Balance Training very…

I found Core Balance Training very helpful physically and emotionally. It was easy to access with well developed explanations and demonstrations. The program encourages working at one's own pace and comfort level, and builds upon basic movement in a reasonable progression. I would definitely recommend Core Balance Training and intend to continue to apply it to my health and fitness routine.

I am SO grateful for the Core Balance…

I am SO grateful for the Core Balance Training program, Dr. Ryan Peebles, and the support staff who offered their encouragement and support with immense patience, warmth, wisdom, and grace. I'm a 69-year-young woman who was never particularly athletic (other than hiking). About 6 years ago I began training my puppy in agility, and that grew into a joyful avocation with competing and earning titles. Agility handling requires sprinting with quick directional turns, twists, and bends, and over time I ran into low back and hip issues that grew into gluteal tendinopathy for which I had PRP therapy about 20 months ago. That treatment was successful in healing the partial tears in my left gluteal minimus and medius tendons. However, I still had imbalances including worsening kyphosis/lordosis (and other degenerative disk/vertebrae changes), and my attempts to return to active running would bring back the hip and low back pain, in spite of numerous bouts of PT which never really addressed my core weakness (my deep abdominals were deeply asleep!). I was desperate for help when I found CBT on FB, and it has been nothing less than life changing. The daily emails were immensely motivating and I learned so much by reading students' comments and listening to Dr. Peebles' Q & A responses. I still have areas that need work, however, I am gradually returning to agility practices feeling more confident that the increased tone in my core muscles will help me stay connected even when I'm distracted by trying to remember the agility course I'm running! LOL. Bottom line: I highly recommend this program for anyone with back pain--or maybe anyone with a body who'd like to stay young and pain-free as long as humanly possible. This program really delivers!!

Congratulations to this faboluous program

I truly enjoyed not only the structure of the program and its different components such as the daily emails, videos, etc., but also the honesty, the transparency, the fact that I never felt being part of a scam, manipulation or anything like that but to the contrary, a guy and his team truly wanting to help people. It all started with the offer of the first 7 days of training with no payment. That’s what really sold me into the program.

Dr Ryan's CBT Program works

Dr Ryan's CBT Program works! It relieved alot of my back pain fairly quick into the program, and kept me from having back surgery. In the program Dr Ryan teaches you body awareness, core control and how to use you body properly. He has put alot of time into the program. He and his team are professional, caring, kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. It was the best money I have ever spent. I love the program it gave me my life back.

Highly recommend Core Balance Training!!

I highly recommend this program!! I had tried multiple physical therapists and chiropractors which either didn't help at all or didn't provide lasting relief for my back pain. This program boils down a recovery process for building balanced strength and correct posture. The pace ensures that you learn the basics well and then builds on itself. Dr. Ryan is a good teacher, super knowledgeable, kind, and chill; he's accessible for direct questions in a weekly livestream; and his staff answers questions online within a day. Excellent access to online professional support when you have questions. I've learned how to take care of my back so that I can move freely again! What a gift!!

Worth the money while I could use the program

The exercises in this program were well worth the money I spent for 3 months of the program. The pain in my back was greatly improved. The sad thing was that, once the three months were up, the videos were no longer available to view at will unless i paid a significant amount for another three months membership. Since I'm in my 70s, I couldn't recall the exercises in order to keep doing them. Back pain returned, but not as bad.

Don’t let them know you are struggling figuring out the app.. they will fire you

I was so excited to try this…but was hesitant with the cost and did mention that but after listening to some of the information… I thought I would give it a try. I found the app to be very confusing… I sent messages explaining what happened and received messages that dismissed my experience…. First I made a password and when I input it… it kept saying I had the wrong one.. I wasn’t able to see the original one to see if I had made a mistake..so I sent a message….I finally figured that out before a return message. Then I couldn’t get out of the comments…I guess you are supposed to comment every time… but you are included with other comments… I just was having a really hard time navigating and I let them know. When you are in pain and you are trying to get some relief and the technology isn’t easy for you. Well it is frustrating.. I had a learning curve and I was in pain…. I just wanted it to be user friendly…. I was pretty shocked to get an email from them saying they weren’t keeping me as a client…. Can you imagine… making a decision to do a program and they fire you…. Yikes…Do not use this on your phone if you are older because there is tons of writing as opposed to videos. It was the most bizarre thing I had ever tried to navigate… kept taking me back to pages to comment.. I didn’t want to comment… just wanted to figure out how to get to the first module…. After expressing my frustration and also explaining ways to make it user friendly … they literally fired me… pretty sad for a company that is blasting ads all over Facebook about compassion to be so weird… my friend told me today to just drop using it and cancel but I wanted to try anyway… ha they fired me..… I personally think people with back pain are going to be frustrated or maybe people like me in a certain age group where back pain becomes a big deal. I am really bummed because the information and knowledge is there… oh and I think they blocked me from being able to comment on their Facebook posts…So disappointed. Ps. In over 30 years… I have maybe written four bad reviews of something… I usually just walk away… I would be totally ok with all of my emails to them be posted… it seems they might have skipped a few things…. … there is just something about their interaction that was totally dismissive…I even sent an apology of an email I sent as I was so upset when they told me I wasn’t “a good fit”. Just a totally bizarre experience. Also. Just read the response for the company… not sure where they got that I said they were stupid…. I don’t think that I said anyone was stupid… but again feel free to post an email that I actually called someone stupid…. Yikes.

CBT was the best investment EVER!

I’ve just completed CBT, and I can’t tell you how pleased I am with the results! I am out of pain 98% of the time (it's not painful, just a twinge), and I will continue the maintenance program until I am strong enough to complete all of the challenges and progressions. My goal is to be comfortable skiing in Telluride by the end of March (approximately 3 months). After the progress I’ve made during these last 3 months while doing the CBT program, I am confident I’ll reach my goal! Like many people, I had gone to a Physical Therapist, Yoga, and tried lots of different exercises and stretches that I found online, none of which seemed to help, and I think some of them actually exacerbated my pain. Of course, once you start clicking on topics that include “back pain” or “sciatica,” you get advertisements for ALL KINDS programs. There were some that said you can heal your back pain/sciatica with “these 5 steps” for a $70 DVD. At first I thought, well $70 isn’t too bad if ends up not helping. I had spent more on PT. But then I came across Dr. Ryan’s sponsored video. I was drawn to the name, Core Balance Training, because intuitively I felt that that I had an imbalance in my pelvis/hips. Yoga and stretching weren’t helping. I listened to the intro Masterclass, and I knew CBT was the right direction for me. I was committed and consistent which I feel was key to my success. At the beginning, I thought there was NO WAY I would EVER be able to do this exercise/movement! But by the end of the 3 months, I was shocked to discover how much strength I had gained, and I had NO PAIN! This is an OUTSTANDING program, and their professional and encouraging staff was available to answer questions quickly (within 24 hours), and I always felt heard and cared for. It was like having my own personal PT who was available whenever I needed them! I also want to encourage anyone who is looking for help with their back pain, don’t waste your money on programs out there that claim overnight success, or claim “just do these 3 steps” to rid yourself of back pain. Make the investment in a program that will give you complete, balanced, and long-term results. When you commit to Core Balance Training, you are giving your back, and your body, the very best!

Try this! Work this program!!!

After trying to correct my lower lumbar issues, pain and restricted range of motion, and being told by orthopedic back surgeons I'd have to stay this way and keep myself in the "cobra" position forever, I turned to inversion table, stretching and yoga. These helped, but didn't fix the problem. Then, on a whim, I tried CBT and immediately I noticed a major difference for me. In particular, I started to put my clothes on differently, put my shoes on while they were on the floor, walk up stairs differently, work out in the gym differently. Today, I find myself bending forward incessantly, doing deadlifts and squats in the gym, playing golf, and now playing tennis three days each week.....all of these pain free and renewed range of motion and flexibility. It all started with CBT and working the program with great prejudice and discipline. I even stayed in the early lessons for much longer than most, because that's where I found success, where I found more benefits and are the daily exercises I love and use daily.
