Credit Nightmare

I do not recommend this company. If you have some credit with Travelocity, then forget about it !! It was impossible for me to use my credit from a previous cancellation. They’d give me the worst flight itinerary. They didn’t give me the option to flight with other carriers or flight out of the country. Every time I attented to use my credit was a bad experience, and they are very inflexible. Do not use Travelocity for any travel plan!

Shame on you Travelocity

Avoid this tour at all cost, its not worth it, April 25 was my wife birthday so we booked this, according to Travelocity they are suppose to pick you up at 7am, they didn't and was picked up at 8am, no explanation given, drove to another location to be asked to get off the bus to get on another bus, waited 10 minutes and was asked to get off the bus only to be driven in someone personal car to get on another bus, after we got on that bus we were driven to several location to pick up people and have people get off our bus, finally on our way, according to Travelocity we would be passing through the sugar cane fields while your guide provides interesting information about the history of the area, the general culture and the rum making techniques of the country, IT NEVER HAPPEN, after a few hours to get to the Catamaran to travel Catalina Island, they played loud music and wanted people to dance and party, i didn't book a party boat and the music very loud, the Captain was selling headband asking people to buy it, the snorkeling to see the Famous Wall was not worth it, afterward we set sail to the Beautiful Beach of Catalina, i'm sure at one it was a beautiful beach, but the beach isn't being taken care by no one, and you other tour company taking people on this tour, so your limited as were you can sit and the food was ok, i express all of this to Travelocity and told them this is False advertisement and wanted my money back, and they told me as long as we got on the boat, we wasn't getting our money back, and they also had a very pushy photograph on the boat who wanted you to buy photo from him.

I purchased the insurance on Travelocity and still could not get a refund on my booking 5 days away from my booking. Travelocity is not to be trusted. Stay with HILTON. Do not prepay in any way with Travelocity even though they offer insurance. They are a scam.

Worst Customer Service Imaginable

Made a mistake on the dates when I made a hotel reservation. Contacted Travelocity the next day to change the dates and they started by telling me that changes and cancellations result in loss of the full amount paid, then backed off that and said they'd call the hotel to see about changing the reservation. Returned to the chat to tell me they could change the reservation for twice the price that I'd originally paid, then admitted they'd made a mistake and changed it for $50.00. Took over an hour to get this done. I've been using Travelocity 10 years. Never again. Your better off booking directly with the hotels, airlines, etc.

We Arrived and had a couple of hiccups…

We Arrived and had a couple of hiccups at check-in with our room. Took our concerns to Stuart, a manager, and he made everything all right plus more! From that moment on our stay was totally outstanding and met the mark on our high expectations! I highly recommend Margaritaville Island Hotel. It’s the perfect place to eat, play, stay to enjoy a little piece of paradise. As the song says, “waste away” your vacay days NO Place Else but at Margaritaville, in Pigeon Forge TN. The Island has contained all the fun, food, and entertainment you’ll need or want for your total enjoyment, wrapped up in one vacation package. What more can I say, only that you’ll want to make your next family memories at Margaritaville Island Hotel !! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dancing queen

The show was amazing, the singers were very talented and the dancers were great! We knew the words to all the songs and were able to sing along. It really was the Ultimate 70s show, they had all the best disco music. At the end, they performed the best ABBA songs, it was great!! Go see Dancing Queen, if you love 70's music, you will love this show!

Travelocity charged me twice for the same car, same person driving the car, same credit card within a minute of sale. They charged me a cancellation fee of $100 & blamed it on the rental car company.

Read the reviews here. 'm not gong to bore you with how I was ripped off, but I was in a very similar situation regarding a rental car booking. I honestly don't know how this company stays in business. Stay away from booking ANY travel with this company. You will be ripped off.

Worst vacation ever¡!!!!

Purchased a flight, hotel, touring package to England. Flight turn out to be more expensive due to the Nickel and dime fees. Touring packages, although some are rushed, it is to be expected. This the reason it earned 2stars. Everything else,"hotel" earned the worst rating. It was a bait and switch job of the century. The advertising shows it is a 2king bed with an ensuite. As it turns out we only have 2 double beds. The owner claims that they updated Expedia/Travelocity. But that is not all..there is no room cleaning, no toiletry, no space to move, no towels even when we put it is on the floor as instructed because there were no maid service. Forget the in room safe. It was a scavenger hunt and it is not here. The TV does not work. No matter how many times it get fix, the wireless connection is disconnected. The first day, the wifi will not work for 3 of our cell phones, but the owner claims it is our phones. They are all new iPhone!!!!!. AFTER SEVERAL BACK AND FORTH AND COMPLAINT, THEY FINALLY RESTARTED THE ROUTER. THEN THE PHONES CONNECTED. IT IS THE WORST VACATION EVER.!!!! You do your own dishes and the hot water pot is filthy. When I try to clean it, it cut my finger deep and I bled for several minutes. Almost went to the hospital when it will not stop. When you go on a vacation, you want to get away from home and the craziness of cleaning your home and enjoy time off. This vacation made the whole family miss home the moment w e checked in. The worst vacation ever!!!!!!!!

Beware of terms for booking…

Beware of terms for booking modifications! I booked air travel and car rental through Travelocity. One week ahead of my travel date, my plans changed and I needed to return the car a day earlier. Travelocity won't modify reservations; they told me to cancel the reservation for a $50 fee and then re-book it for the revised dates. Because it was booked through Travelocity, the car rental company didn't have access to change the reservation on their own. I canceled the reservation, took the $50 hit, and booked a car through another site. I won't ever book a hotel stay or car rental through Travelocity again.

Travelocity truly sucks

Travelocity truly sucks. I'd bought two tickets from the USA to Sweden via Travelocity which were cancelled due to Covid. The credits were returned by the airline to Travelocity. Now that we can travel and want to book (the airline has confirmed that the vouchers are good through September 2023), multiple calls to Travelocity and hours of frustration have got us nowhere. Each time I call there is no reference of the previous conversations and we are right back to square one. The effort to drag this booking out and playing dumb is tantamount to theft of our $2,200 in credits. We've had multiple promises of call backs after they've spoken to British Airways to make the booking but heard nothing. This is shameful and a tough lesson learned. The airline, too, is disgusted since they see the credits and we cannot book direct with them since the original booking was through Travelocity. Never again!!!

NEVER AGAIN!!!

I booked a car rental through Travelocity (prepaid) and when I arrived I was told I could not use a debit card as the major credit card requirement. I didn't have a major credit card because my husband had his to use while on vacation. We were advised to create a NEW reservation with my husbands name and then ask Travelocity for a refund. GUESS WHAT... Travelocity will not give us a refund even though they did NOT communicate that a debit card could not be used. I paid twice for a car rental thanks to them! Never again.

Poor online customer service

Actual agents are as bad as the virtual agents. Took over an hour to "help." They reiterated the same information over and over when I wanted a simple task completed. I do not recommend using this website unless you are 100% certain that you won't need customer service.

False advertising of 2-star hotel with raggedy torn yellow curtains.

I wrote the following comments on the night of March 15, 2023, when I received an email from booking agency. I made sure I kept a copy of my comments, and emailed them to my email address, which I am inserting here now from my email sent to myself on March 15, which were the comments I made in giving feedback on the Wallaceburg Inn, Wallaceburg, Ont., where I had booked 2 nights and was overcharged from their advertised rate of $98 per night. I happened to pick travelocity booking, and when I received confirmation, the total cost was switched from $98 plus tax to $135 per night plus tax. I feel this is false advertising. The room was only rated as a 2-star hotel, and I only selected it because it was close to conference I was attending located about 5 miles away from Wallaceburg, Ontario. I wrote these comments on Mar. 15, and when I returned to the room in the afternoon of Mar. 16, the curtains that I video-taped on my cell phone were taken down from the windows. I had decided to take a picture of them from my room for evidence, as I did not trust the owner, after being told my room was costing me a higher rate than what was advertised. She said her normal every day rate was $135 per night, and that I would of got a better rate of $120 per night if I just walked in, instead of booking online! The reason I booked online was to get a better rate, and instead I got a higher rate! Not fair! So this is what I had written, and I believe the owner removed my comments, then removed the torn raggedy rotten curtains of my window in room 117. I am now inserting the comments I made on Mar. 15, 2023: complaint about room rip off When I booked the room, I was expecting to pay $98 per night as advertised through travelocity. When I booked it showed the price as $2l5.00 plus tax. I was told that the total cost for room was $305. the owner said that the room was $135 per day not $98 as it was in US currency. I never would have booked this room for $305. In other words I got no discount at all in booking through travelocity, as the normal rate per day is $135 anyway. I feel I was ripped off. I also feel I need to be reimbused, and charged only $98 per day, as this is what was advertised when I originally booked the room. I did not look at the itinerary that was emailed to me when I received it, because I was expecting the cost of the room to be what I had booked. I have never experienced this before as I usually book through hotels.com and the price that is stated when booked is the price that is on the itinery that is sent. This is not fair and I consider it false advertising, because I booked the room for two nights at $98 per night and was charged $135 per night instead. I am also a senior and feel this is really unfair treatment. What was the use of me booking a room to get a discount, when in fact, I got a higher price, that I did not agree to when I booked. I will try writing a letter or calling travelocity to explain this unfair treatment. I also made a video of the curtains from room 117, at the wallaceburg inn, on mar. 16, 2023, but I don't believe I will be able to insert it here. I feel I should be reimbursed for the extra money that was needlessly charged. Other people was be being ripped off as well. The owner said it was in American money, but I did not book it under the US country of origin. I booked it under Canadian origin. I recently looked at various booking sites, and the $98 per night is still being advertised. I can email the video if you give me an email to send it to. The date of experience was Mar. 15, 2023, after I checked in, seen the room and got the email to make a comment about my experience received, as stated above. Thank you

I booked a flight through Travelocity…

I booked a flight through Travelocity in February 2023. Of course Delta cancelled our flight and travelocity instead of helping has only blamed Delta. If you as a third party booking company can't help a person get another flight then you should not be allowed to sell it to begin with. You have caused me nothing but problems and you should take accountability!!! When you try to call the parent company (Sabre) the phone rings once and then stops. If you can't help the people that book through your company then maybe it's time to reassess how you do business.

Travelocity failed to protect their customer. I had rented a vehicle from Priceless Car Rental who proceed to up charge me on multiple add when arriving at the counter. I had decided to cancel the rental (worst experience ever with the car rental). I had asked the clerk to ensure my deposit of $351 is credited. They said to contact Travelocity who failed to credit my account.

Travelocity failed me

Travelocity: It’s 10:30pm and I am juggling trying to find a hotel after my flights were cancelled and everyone was booked that I called. I would have to pay for the hotel because my flight was cancelled on account of weather and I was also trying to find someone to help me locate my 3 pieces of luggage. One that I carried on because it had my medications and they asked me to check it at the gate. Big mistake. When I arrived to DFW Airport they shut down all baggage until the next day. I had a very long day starting at 3:30am that morning getting on an LAX flight at 6am. I hadn’t eaten a meal but just snacked thinking when I arrived at my next destination before flying home I could get a meal. Etc, etc. It was nerve racking to find a hotel with all the hysterical and angry people around me. I was alone. Meanwhile, I got on my Travelocity app, checked the filters that included breakfast and airport shuttle. I checked the hotels website and it didn’t say it had limited shuttle service. Thinking I checked the right boxes and Travelocity had my back with the filters I checked. I waited and saw a shuttle for the Holiday Inn and ran after him as he zoom past me waving him down. He said he goes to a different location not letting me know I wouldn’t ever see a shuttle till the next morning. I waited for my Holiday Inn shuttle. I called multiple times but no one answered until I had called for the fourth time. The poor girl was alone running the hotel by herself. No wonder she didn’t answer. When we talked she said they they stopped at 11:00pm. So then I started with my Lyft and Uber apps. It was going to cost me $69-$120 to get me to my hotel 10 miles away. Also, each time I tried booking the Lyft and Uber the app showed someone coming and they cancelled each time. I called the hotel about my situation and I was told I needed to talk to the third party whom I booked it through. Yes, I called Travelocity and they said call the hotel. I did ask a taxi driver to take me to the hotel and he would charge $45 dollars. I just want my money back because I have to stay overnight and hang out somewhere till my flight at 6:30pm the next day. More $$.

DO NOT USE Travelocity

It's a long story but in a nutshell: I just spent 2 hours online trying to use credits already on my account to book a trip in October. I even searched the airlines myself and knew which flights I wanted to use them for. I tried using the Virtual Agent support to book and talk about a nightmare! Every agent (a total of 4 because the chat kept getting closed out) gave me different information about how to use my credits, were not thorough in any way, constantly asked for the same information over and over and I still don't have a trip booked. This is not the first time I've had issues with their customer service. I strongly recommend NOT using Travelocity for any bookings.

Hotel

I booked a package that included flights, and Hotel. When I reached the hotel it had been closed since January 9th 2023. Imagine being in a foreign country not speaking the language and being met at a gate by a security guard and a dog! I had to pay extra money to the airport transfer guy to help me find a hotel. I contacted Travelocity the following day and I have been getting the run around since. They tell me they are still waiting on the hotel to respond. They are in need for the hotel to refund them in order for Travelocity to give me a refund. I did not book with the hotel! I booked with Travelocity! Terrible terrible terrible. I have used Travelocity over 7 years now. I will never ever use them again!

Terrible experience.. DO NOT PURCHASE ALL INCLUSIVE VACATION PACKAGES FROM TRAVELOCITY

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the customer service I received from your company. Recently, I booked an all-inclusive resort in Puerta Vellerita, Mexico, for which I paid $4000 through Travelocity. However, upon receiving a call from the hotel, I was informed that I would have to pay an additional $300 per night for all-inclusive services, and that they would not honor the Travelocity booking. After spending numerous hours trying to reach customer service representatives from Travelocity, I was finally informed that there was an error on the Travelocity listing, despite providing proof of the original booking that clearly stated all-inclusive services were included. To my dismay, I was then told that I would not be refunded for my package and ended up losing all of my money. I was forced to contact my credit card company to reverse the charge. As a result of this experience, I have lost all trust and confidence in Travelocity and I will never use your services again. I am deeply disappointed with the way my situation was handled and the lack of assistance I received from your customer service team. I find it unacceptable that I was not able to get a clear and timely response, despite my numerous attempts to contact the company. I hope that you take my complaint seriously and take appropriate action to rectify the situation, so that no other customer will have to experience what I went through. I would appreciate a prompt response from your team regarding this matter.
