Due to the recent corona virus outbreak…

Due to the recent corona virus outbreak we as seniors were forced to cancel our stay at the National at Courthouse in Arlington VA. The cost of this reservation was $885.92 which travelocity's website touts as non refundable and due to higher than usual call volume you cannot get through via phone to talk to an agent nor can you get through online on their "chat" forum.Their customer service is non existent and victimizes customers.

I have called Travelocity over 20 times…

I have called Travelocity over 20 times and have been trying to reach anyone at Travelocity for going on four days to cancel or reschedule or something, anything, except be on the same flight we are scheduled for. Due to the recent Europe travel ban. Their website won't let me do it online, I get a message saying there was a glitch and I need to call, and when I call, their phone just says "we are experiencing technical difficulties, please call back later" for over 72 hours and their customer service chat just ends up telling you to call. I tried the bot chat online which told me they wouldn’t be able to help and that I needed to speak with an agent and that they would connect me with one after waiting 3 hours, I gave up hope. Horrible customer service. As a loyal and long time customer, I am done waiting and being hung up on!!!!!

Nobody answers anything

Been trying to reach anyone at Travelocity for going on three days to cancel a flight. Their website won't let me do it on line, their phone just says "we are experiencing technical difficulties, please call back later" for over 48 hours and their customer service chat just ends up telling you to call. I also purchased the cancellation insurance. Garbage customer service. As a long time customer, I am done.

Been trying for 3 days to cancel my…

Been trying for 3 days to cancel my flights, hotels and excursions due to age and ailments risk from Corona Virus. Absolutely terrible, website advises "Unable to process due to glitch" and phone numbers do not answer or recording advises "Currently experiences technical difficulties". What a company, unbelievable!!!!

I stayed at travelocity in Milton…

I stayed at travelocity in Milton Keynes and I was helped by receptionist Rena she was just wonderful polite pleasant courteous and very patient to help me with my Wi-Fi she help me get into my a different room I wasn't happy with one of the rooms there was no problem doing that everything was clean and perfect and I will stay there again and I can just only hope Reena will be there again to help me with anything else I need a wonderful experience!

Best deal- worst experience

They had the best deal for my trip however, you can never get in touch with them via phone or Internet. It was very unsettling that I was travelling outside the country and while I was in my destination country i had a question about the shuttle and nobody would answer the phone. I will think twice before I ever use them again!! One of the worst customer service experience ever!

Travelocity did not help!!

Booked ticket for NYC and wanted to cancel because of virus outbreak, Travelocity told me that I will have to lose my money because that was Delta’s policy. I called Dekta and they allowed me to cancel flight and apply my full fare for a later flight Up to a year from now. I did not even have to fight with them. Great people!! Travelocity.. not so much.. useless!!

After countless attempts to contact…

After countless attempts to contact Travelocity and being hung up on; i finally reached the most amazing customer service representative, Ms. Lekha Vishwasroa. She was so patient and understanding and worked with me for 2 hrs. until she got everything worked out. I want to thank her sincerly, her customer service skills are excellent. Thank you again for your help!

I wish I could leave zero stars but it won't let me. Wow where do I begin I booked a great deal through Travelocity and then I saw they lowered the price and wanted them to price match there lower Pirce and I filled out the price match guarantees form four. Times nobody ever contacted me and then I called the customer service number and the weren't able to help at all Travelocity price match is a fraud and the purposely don't want to Match a lower price so they make it impossible to get anyone to help you. I asked for a full refund and will NEVER do business with them again they are unethical and don't stand behind there guarantees at all. They are filled with false advertising period. Don't do. Business with them you will regret it.

Terrible Service if You want to Get A Refund

I have a refund due from Travelocity.com because of their mistake. It took me three calls and each time on hold for 1.5 hour to get it done. It is impossible. It's best to book direct with the airlines. The customer representatives are courteous but the process is impossible!

Mr.Sanchos all inclusive beach club on…

Mr.Sanchos all inclusive beach club on Cozumal MX is a get way to spend the day. All the food & drinks with excellent service in a beautiful setting. The beach club was clean and relaxing. We had nice massages by Bertha & Catia at a lovely beach spa. I would recommend checking out this all inclusive day at the beach in Cozumal.

shuttle never came

Booked a vacation package for a family member on their honeymoon and requested and paid for a shuttle to pick them up from the airport and from the hotel. The Shuttle never showed up. The number to the shuttle was unreachable. Apparently Travelocity was not able to contact the Shuttle either. However Travelocity was quick to take my money and not return it. I am embarrassed and horrified with experience! DO NOT USE

Kudos to travelocity for fixing a screwup they weren't even responsible for

Due to a screwup by the group tour company, I was double-booked at a hotel in Arusha, Tanzania. One booking was through the tour company, and the other by myself through travelocity. As a result, the hotel wanted to charge me $190 for a room I'd already paid for. I called travelocity's toll-free number and explained the situation. They in turn called the hotel and presto, all was taken care of. Kudos to travelocity for fixing a screwup they weren't even responsible for..

Dont pay for cancellation policy

They sell you a cancellation policy, you pay for it and then when you try to use it they tell you no. Well thats what happened to me and I will never use them again. Just call your cc company and dispute the charge.

When your flight is cancelled, you have no recourse. Lesson: Book Direct!

Hong Kong Air cancelled my flight from Hong Kong to Hanoi. Most flights on this airline have been cancelled due to the Coronavirus. This is not Travelocity’s fault. However, the poor quality of their service is unforgivable. I have now called many times with the same reasonable request: “refund my money since the airline cancelled my reservation.” If I had booked direct with the airline, I would have been able to apply for my refund on their website. Since I did not, I had to go to Travelocity. I have waiting in long queues for service, have been cut off several times, and cannot understand the operators. They promised that they would take all of my information and get back to me in 48 hours about my refund. They did not. I called again using the call back service on their website. I did get a call back, but the operator obviously had no record of my previous calls. When she put me on hold to check with the airline, I was cut off. I guess the morale of this story is you are far better off to book with the airline directly or work with a licensed, skilled travel consultant. This is the last time I will book through Travelocity!

stealing with a license

stealing with a license I booked a trip to Cancun Mexico 4 months in advance , I had to change the flight for only one day before the date , I called and told them I would pay for the change, and they told me that I could not do it, that it was a non refundable ticket, and that I had to buy a new ticket, which I could not afford, so I had to cancel the trip, and also lost the hotel, They said they would give me a refund, I spent 1300.00 and they refunded me 50.00 that was a real joke, DO NOT USE THEM

NEVER, EVER use Travelocity

I booked a trip to Mexico for my daughters’s wedding in Sept 2019. Two days before my departure on Jan 31, 2020 I began getting emails from Travelocity saying they’d cancelled my airline & hotel reservations as well as the vacation waiver. They were TOTALLY UNRESPONSIVE when I called - repeatedly. They are still claiming I cancelled online. They made no attempt to verify any cancellation. They made no attempt to reinstate anything. They will not provide a copy of the supposed cancellation. I made airline reservations directly with the airline and was able to book a room at the hotel for part of my trip. Fortunately they had a cancellation for the rest of my trip two days after my arrival. I’m still trying to get a refund for the vacation waiver and they are still unresponsive. They seem to have no idea who cancelled the reservation and no apparent interest in refunding my money. I have spent hours on the phone with them - mostly on hold to being transferred from one incompetent agent to another. Don’t ever book with this company.

Travelocity Never Sent My Reservation to the Hotel

Made a reservation for a hotel on my trip with family to Vietnam. Arrived at the hotel to discover they had no reservation for me despite providing Travelocity's itinerary number and confirmation pages. After about an hour, I was given a smaller, less expensive room. My daughter had to stay at a friends as there was not enough beds. Called Travelocity customer service after getting to the room. After 30 minutes and them contacting the hotel twice, the representative got very rude and said I wouldn't get any refund because at least I wasn't sleeping on the street. The hotel contacted me the next day to say that Travelocity only sent the reserveration AFTER I called customer service to complain. The hotel couldn't issue a refund because the money is handled by Travelocity. They advised me not to use Travelocity to book with them in the future as they have always had problems with the company. Travelocity told me tough luck.
