Travelocity Never Sent My Reservation to the Hotel
Made a reservation for a hotel on my trip with family to Vietnam. Arrived at the hotel to discover they had no reservation for me despite providing Travelocity's itinerary number and confirmation pages. After about an hour, I was given a smaller, less expensive room. My daughter had to stay at a friends as there was not enough beds. Called Travelocity customer service after getting to the room. After 30 minutes and them contacting the hotel twice, the representative got very rude and said I wouldn't get any refund because at least I wasn't sleeping on the street. The hotel contacted me the next day to say that Travelocity only sent the reserveration AFTER I called customer service to complain. The hotel couldn't issue a refund because the money is handled by Travelocity. They advised me not to use Travelocity to book with them in the future as they have always had problems with the company. Travelocity told me tough luck.
