Impossible to get Travelocity reps

Impossible to get Travelocity reps. i have used them a lot in the past but apparently that once there is an issue they are leaving their customer with no response or support. I have spend more than 8 hours on the phone trying to get in touch with them. I have 2 itineraries on the SAME flight. The flight was cancelled by the airline. They have cancelled one and the second one shows as "In progress" what a SHAM. Companies are defined exactly in these situations. No one is blaming them of the situation but the way they are handling this situation is one of the worse i have seen. I will never use them again and I hope that other customers will do the same!

Travelocity Must Never Be Used By Anyone

As those that previously have written a review (complaint) in regards to Travelocity and the recent events surrounding Covid-19, this company in which I’ve used several times in the past has shown itself to be insensitive, policy driven and leaves its customers without much recourse. I to are attempting to seek refund/credit for my flight in which I would use at another time but are hellbent on me traveling to this same state that has been ravaged by the epidemic. They’re telling me I must travel to this state by no later than 10/24, reschedule by 5/31 or my monies will be lost. If I could give less than a star I certainly would, they ABSOLUTELY will never ever be used again as a booking party and will insist to any of my family/friends that they must use someone else as well. This company is fraudulent in its practices and has shown no empathy whatsoever during these unprecedented times. Again as a consumer I will NEVER EVER use them and I encourage anyone who reads this do the same.

I just got a text message today

I just got a text message today, saying they will cancel my hotel and I will be refunded for that. However, they will give us a voucher for the airlines. I just want to know if they ever text anyone and is it a scam? I went on the chat and can’t get a response.

Best hotel ever

I would like to share our experience at out recent stay at Excellence Riviera Cancun. We are coming to this hotel for the last 16 years sometimes even twice a year. This is by far the best hotel ever. The stuff, food, entertainment and hospitality at this hotel is beyond believe. I would like to recognize the most amazing, awesome, professional, wonderful people that made our stay exceptional. Those people are : Fatima Young, J Antonio Garcia, Alfredo Salazar and 5he best barmen Moses. Chef Faustino Mollinedo is the Best. His delicious food is the most amazing food I have ever ate! Applause to him! Thanks to all of you guys for making this stay just unforgettable!! Heads up to all of you! Can’t wait to see you guys this year once again. Bella K

Even AFTER they know the Airline has cancelled they wait for the customer to contact them.

I have been attempting to get a refund since March 4th, 2020 for a flight that was booked through Travelocity then cancelled by the airline, I have been put on hold for over 7-8 times then when a human actually answers they put me back on hold then hang up on me. The one time I actually got a response they simply said they see the cancellation but they don't know what the "waiver codes" are for my flights, so after she took my number "in case we got disconnected" I got put on hold while she researched them, then after 1 hour and 29 minutes of being on hold they hung up on me. Then I got a BS generic email blast from the Expedia CEO telling me they are working hard trying to resolve problems..., HAHAHA, what a crock! I have been on hold for a total of 9 hours!!! Yes I'm documenting this miserable customer service.

We stayed at the District 3 Hotel in Chatanooga, TN

We stayed at the District 3 Hotel in Chattanooga. TN. The staff were very friendly. You could go down to the lobby to get coffee or juice as often as you liked. Due to Covid 19, they offered bagged, complimentary breakfast. The hotel and rooms were very clean and tidy. The pet park was also very nice and well kept. People actually cleaned up after their pets, unlike other places. We didn't use the pool, but we did check it out. Again very well kept and crystal clear. The price was very reasonable and would definitely stay there again.

Worst Company to EVER!!

Worst Company to EVER!!! I have been trying to call for days been on hold 6+ hours. Between the system hanging up and you finally get through to someone who can barely speak English who hangs up. They are liars claiming we would get Airline Credit. Come to find out when you call the airline that is not the case. They are just withholding control of your money by forcing you to re-book your flight through them. Our flights were cancelled from Caronavirus and there is a literal travel ban put in place to the destination NOT TO MENTION we paid $200 for the Vacation Waiver which they also won't refund. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME. I HATE THIS COMPANY WILL NEVER USE AGAIN.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience! I had to cancel a trip last-minute because the coronavirus made the conference I was attending shut down. I was on the phone with Travelocity (through whom I had booked the hotel) for almost an hour, was constantly put on hold, and then they claimed they had gotten a refund for me. Weeks later, I have gotten no refund, and when I contacted the hotel they said that Travelocity hadn't even canceled the stay! I tried to call them but their line was "out of business", and a "chat agent" was incredibly unhelpful and basically said they had done the refund but the hotel had refused it (which wasn't true). I will never use them again, and suggest you don't either. Horrible company!

If I could give a negative star I would

If I could give a negative star I would. I have been in Australia for the past 2 weeks and received notice that all US citizens were to return home ASAP. Return flight home was 3/29 so tried calling and online chatting with Travelocity to change flight, Could not get through. Then received word from Qantas that my flight home had been cancelled but that as I booked through Travelocity, I would have to change through Travelocity. Tried numerous times to make contact and all I got was our agents our busy right now, try again later. Being told that Qantas was shitting down all international flights somewhere towards the end of the month and the warning from the State Dept through the STEP program regarding international flight disruptions, I went through Expedia and booked a one way flight home. Terrible service. BTW - as i sit at home in Chicago, Travelocity still is showing my return flight home.

I wish I could giver zero stars

I wish I could giver zero stars. I've been attempting to get my money back for 4 days now and cannot even get through. The provider of my excursion cancelled and will not refund my $306 because I booked via Travelocity. Others in the group got an immediate refund from the vendor. This is very VERY annoying and having to deal with Travelocity to get your refund is a NIGHTMARE Beware always book directly with airlines or agents. This company is worthless and adds no value

My booked flight was cancelled by the Airline, NO SUPPORT by Travelocity. We only get hung up on when trying to contact them.

My booked flight was cancelled by Singapore Airlines on the 4th of March. I got an email from Travelocity confirming the segment change and a phone number to call. I've been trying since the 4th to contact Travelocity, but 8 or 9 of their "Customer service" phone numbers are either experiencing "high call volumes" or "technical difficulties" then they hang up you. Then I get a generic email from the president of the parent company Expedia, telling me what they're doing to fix this problem they've had for 4 weeks. "Helping Our Customers. For those traveling now and with upcoming travel bookings, our teams are working around the clock to provide everyone the support they need. We are rapidly increasing the availability of travel advisors, enhancing our self-service options, and developing new automated ways for travelers to better manage their reservations. Our focus is helping travelers with immediate trips, and these improvements will allow all our customers to travel more confidently in the future. signed Tucker Moodey” President. Wow, absolutely NO Customer Support, by phone, no Email support, nothing but fake emails telling us how much they care. When I disputed a credit card charge they IMMEDIATLY contacted me with a threat about cancelling my trip, the same one the airlines had already cancelled! I will NEVER book with Expedia, Travelocity, Hotels.com or or Trivago or any of their other subsidiaries ever again.

If I could give them less than one…

If I could give them less than one star, I would. I read all the other recent reviews, dealing with the corona virus and I have to agree with them all. I booked a family trip-3 adults, 2 kids, including car, hotel and airfare. Trying to do the responsible thing, we decided not to go to Hawaii, as the Governor has asked tourists to stay away. Cannot get through after hours on the phone and the website is useless, as is the 'chat line'-I am done with this company and urge anyone else to drop them as well. When the going gets rough, they have been a huge disappointment. One additional comment-unlike most every other company I deal with, Travelosity never sent customers an email to let us know what they are doing-we were essentially stranded, trying to figure out things for ourselves. I hope this company goes bankrupt (after they issue the refunds due...)

No way to cancel

Like others on here, I have to cancel my travel plans due to Corona Virus. In calling Travelocity several times I have not been able to get through to a person, only a recording that they can not pick up due to technical difficulties. Have tried to contact them through their website for the last two days through the Chat feature, only to be told "All our chat agents are working with other customers right now. Please check back with us in a little while..." Have used their services for many, many years. Will book directly with airline from now on. I found out by contacting them, that, if I had booked directly, I could have cancelled my flight easily. Will keep trying to get in touch with Travelocity. Poor customer service.

I will never use Travelocity again

I have been a longtime user of Travelocity, and am extremely disappointed in how the company is dealing with cancellations due to the Covid-19 restrictions that are being placed upon U.S. citizens. I live in California and had planned a trip to London between April 22 and May 5, 2020. I reserved and paid for two reservations for The London Lodge Hotel, to coincide with the beginning and ending of my trip. I paid extra for the "free cancellation" option Travelocity offered, but once I printed out the rules and restriction page, it stated that the room type and rate were non-refundable. This was not disclosed anywhere on the Travelocity website; it was only disclosed after I made the payment. How does "free cancellation" work on a non-refundable room, and why would anyone pay extra for "free cancellation" if the room is non-refundable? I will never use Travelocity again and I intend to place this review on every travel-related website I can find.

20 hours total on hold in 2 days

20 hours total on hold in 2 days. Disconnections, people who couldn’t help, wrong numbers on their website. Trying to cancel a trip because of the pandemic and finally, after over 8 hours on hold from midnight to 8am, someone answered. A crackly line, hard to hear anything. Tried to charge me a $100 per person change fee they said was the airline’s policy. I said to check again and it was removed. Ended up with a credit for the airline, no refund. Refunds should always be available to people.

No way I will ever use travelocity or Expedia again after the way they reacted to the pandemic. They wouldn't let me cancel 5 days before my reservations. I can't control a pandemic, you'd think this company would have some sympathy for their loyal customers, nope only greed!

Travelocity Worthless

You would think in a pandemic the company would be accessible through email, phone or website? WRONG!!!! They are having technical difficulty and cancelling our trip is impossible. WE are trying to do our civic duty and not infect others. The website won't even accept my confirmation number and I have been trying all day. I will NEVER USE a third party again. Called the hotel to try to cancel and was told they cannot cancel since I booked through a third party. We have been lifelong customers. So disappointed.
