I purchased two round trip tickets for…

I purchased two round trip tickets for September 21st to the 26th . I purchased the insurance. The insurance Is AIG was going washington state for a military funeral. The funeral was cancelled because some of the family couldn't make that date. Funeral was booked for November. I called travelocity to change the dates and was told I couldn't change dates and I needed to cancel my trip and go thru AIG for a refund. I filed a claim with AIG but my reason was not one of the reasons for cancelling so I did not get a refund. Flight was over $700.00. So who gets the money The airlines travelocity or the insurance or do they split it. I will never ever book with Travelocity. Worse company ever. Big SCAM!!!!

To Whom It May Interest

To Whom It May Interest, We are having major issues with Travelocity. They sent us an email stating our flights had been cancelled. Due to that error I purchased new flights elsewhere, as we have had nothing but issues while using Travelocity for multiple trips and have lost hundreds of dollars due to their errors. Travelocity is now saying that the flights were not cancelled, despite the email from them they sent stating the opposite. They sent my complaint to higher up executives for review as I was trying to get the tickets credited/refunded due to their grievous error.

do not buy anything from travelocity

do not buy anything from travelocity, they are liars. I bought a round trip from San Diego to manaus, it was said : You can change these flights without paying a fee if plans change. Because flexibility matters......My return ticket was on 09/23/2022, but I was hurt when i was in amazon jungle. I spent about 2 hours on the phone waiting and explaining my situation to the rep and that rep pushed me to another rep. Finally he told me there's no flight till 9/21/2022 and I have to pay $2000 to buy another ticket to come back to San Diego, my original ticket cost $1227, this is such a ridiculous travel agency. luckily I contacted the airline directly and explained what happened and they were able to sent me home on 09/19/2022 with no cost, and same road came back.

Nunca me reembolsaron el seguro del coche que terminé pagando dos veces

Ojo. Tener mucho cuidado con esta compañia. Reservé un coche a traves de ellos y me hicieron pagar el seguro por adelantado. Cuando llegué al mostrador de Budget me dijeron que el pago por el seguro no figuraba y tuve que adquirir uno nuevo. Hice la reclamación a Travelocity y lo unico que me dijeron inicialmente que iban a pedir confirmacion de budged, a peasr de que yo se las envié todos los recibos de pago.

Unacceptable Chat response from 2 Customer Service Reps

Booked vacation package and attempted to change/cancel it the same day (within one hour). Hotel stated all changes must be made via the third-party, however, when I contacted Travelocity the representatives, Darlin and Apoorva tried to tell me the hotel confirmation number was no longer visible to their system, then both reps abruptly disconnected the chat. Can't even tell me how to cancel my online account. Will not book with them again!

Useless App Worst costumer service

Worst Customer service. App is useless I used them. When I tried to rebook hotel virtual app canceled my flight. When I tried to find about Tickets refund The app wouldn’t let me correct my answer. I tried calling no help from real person. First time I booked never again!!

The hotel was clean and nice and quiet

The hotel was clean and nice and quiet. The staff were caring people who resolved issues quickly. While the attached building that the pool is in has the appearance of a grand pool, the reality is it wasn't much more than a wading pool.

Exceptionally poor customer service

Apparently Travelocity does not do any checking on reviews for places they book for you. I reviewed the reviews on a hotel I booked yesterday through Travelocity and they were atrocious. Roaches, bedbugs etc…none of this information is offered by Travelocity. I tried to cancel my reservation 22 hours before checking in and was still charged. I will eat the cost of the room but will not book through Travelocity again. Do your due diligence.

Do not book low cost airlines with them

I booked a flight for a night ticket and somehow I didn't notice until a week before they booked the flight with a similiar flight in the morning. Because the link they gave on their confirmation didn't work with the airlines app. So I got forced to pay 150 in change fees (ultra low carrier) and when I called travelocity. All they said is we sent you a confirmation not our problem. Not even an apology.

I always go through Travelocity to book…

I always go through Travelocity to book my trips. I was very disappointed with the rental reservation. I was stranded in Sheridan WY without transportation and was unable to rent a vehicle until the next day for much more ($500 difference) CS did not know who Enterprise was and said he would call the next morning with a new reservation. I have tried every number ans cannot simply to speak to any one to inform him of the problem. John Q

Terrible

I have tried several times to redeem a Travelocity credit online and it will not work. Instead of giving me my credit it charges my credit card. When I call Travelocity Customer Service and the agent looks up the same flight I just found on their site, the price the agent gives me is twice as high as when I search their site. That makes totally no sense!!! What site are their own agents using?????

Never told us of cancelled reservation

Booked a hotel through Travelocity 6 months ago. The hotel cancelled our reservation the day of check in and reported this cancellation to Travelocity. We found out of the cancellation while trying to check in. Travelocity never informed us of this cancellation and left us scrambling for an alternative. It's been 5 days and Travelocity still hasn't called us back to explain their lack of communication. Terrible customer service.

I need to cancel my ticket and…

I need to cancel my ticket and unfortunately, they don't have online cancellation. Only way to cancel your ticket is by calling them. I have been trying to call them since 2 hours. I have been holding phone for more than half an hour each time and yet I couldn't reach their customer care. I have tried all possible numbers. Every time I hear pre recorded message of high call volume. In my life, I have never seen call volume where you can't reach customer care even after holding your phone for half an hour.

I reserved a car in Boston Logan and overcharget

I reserved a car in Boston Logan Airport via Travelocity for a week. Travelocity picked for me Budget the worst company in Boston. Travelocity charged $576.33 on 8/12/2022 in advance to my Master Card ending 1609. Surprisingly, Budget also charged $219.15 on 8/25. Then the saga continued at the Rental Car counter. The line was very long, estimated 100 or more people waiting. After about 40 minutes, I previously sent Budget all kind of information and she typed again the reservation had on line. The car had many signs of accident damage. Bumpers were loose twisted and the car had scratches everywhere. It had many large spots of bird feces on the top and sides. Inside of the car I found the previous renter's contract, many pieces on napkins, a bottle of alcoholic beverage and dirt. The gasoline level was 3/4 full. I have pictures to document all of this. Nobody was around to give me a different vehicle. I decided to drive the vehicle and drove to the exit gate since I was late due to the wait at the counter. The person at the exit gave me a pink slip stating scratches damage. He said bring back the car 3/4 full of gas....!!!!! I was told to go back to the counter to complain but I had to go because I was already late. He was visibly upset because I was complaining.... I returned the car I filled up completely with gas, Budget charged me $97.80 for “fuel service”!!!!!!! I used the car driving through tolls twice but charged over $219 It seems that Travelocity and Budget are Third World rental companies renting a dirty wreck charging 100 times more to go through tolls. I will file a formal complaint ASAP to many customer forums. Obviously I also demand refunding my cost. Peter G Medveczky MD Professor

Reserva que no existio

Reserve con un mes de antelación un coche para irme de vacaciones, el día de la reserva la oficina no existe, la empresa estaba cerrada ese mes (agosto 22) y desde la pagina es imposible reclamar esta situación. En resumen me cobraron por algo que no me dieron, me quede sin vacaciones y no me devolvieron el dinero cobrado previamente.

Rebooking from HELL!!

I recently had to cancel a flight that I booked through Travelocity and it was the worst experience of my life! I originally booked the flight in April of 2022 going to Montego Bay, Jamaica in September 2022. The airline JetBlue cancelled my flight and I had to call Travelocity to see if I could rebook the flight for a different time. Needless to say Travelocity didn’t have anytime that made sense nor any nonstop flights returning to the US. The fist call I made to cancel the flight for a refund I was told that JetBlue would only issue a travel voucher that I could use at a later date and the voucher was only good for travel from the US to Montego Bay and no where else. On the second call to Travelocity I was told that JetBlue would refund my ticket because they canceled the flight. He also told me that if I opted to take the travel voucher that I could flight from the US to anywhere in the world and that I had 1 year to use the voucher. This was the complete opposite of the first call and took an hour and a half to achieve. It was frustrating, the rep was unprofessional telling me that I needed to take responsibility for the cancellation when I wasn’t the one to cancel my original flight. He also put me on hold for 10 minutes at times and played music so loud that I had a headache after hanging up. I will NEVER EVER use Travelocity again!!

Travelocity should close their site. Business is no longer revelant.

Member for 20+ yrs and it just dawn on me that they are no longer relevant and I should stop using them. Booked a rental car for our family vacation the company ACE had a better rating than Hertz. So I booked thru them and guess what? Upon arrival at the airport, ACE said they don't have the SUV we had booked and had just wanted to upsell us a Camry. Camry from an SUV? So we had to book another SUV from Hertz for the same day and paid the extra premium for it without the advanced booking. This can so easily ruin some people's summer vacation. Fine, I paid the premium, but then I also realized that Travelocity don't care they are just there to make a quick buck and they don't vet their vendors nor care about the fake reviews. From now on we will just book direct and save our time. As for ACE, the company's tactic is obviously to get the customer to their counter and upsell. ACE doesn't care about offering rental cars online that don't exist.

Covid cancellations and airline credits lost

My original flight was cancelled due to Covid in 2020. More than 2 years later I am still trying to use my travel credit. Every phone call takes more than 45 minutes and typically results in the need for a callback, or they won't allow me to use the credits at all. I learned on today's call that Travelocity transferred my airline credit to United, so after a 40 minute call with United, I had to contact the airline directly, however, they can't locate the "airline credit" either. No one can find the credit or help me. I will NEVER book through Travelocity again.
