Fraudulent deal between AIG and Travelocity!!!!

Purchased a hotel package with insurance. I canceled the package within 15 days and noticed later that I didn’t get a full refund. Later realized I didn’t get refunded for the travel insurance from AIG, what a FRAUDULENT COMPANY!!! They refused to refund the money saying it wasn’t requested within 15 days with them!!! I don’t know how Travelocity and AIG get away with this, I’m being charged insurance for a trip that was canceled!!! Someone needs to fix this!

Didn't refund the amount I was told on the phone. Customer service is in India and terrible. I've used them for years, I will never use them again. A $700 lesson. Complete jerks, intentionally trying to rip people off.

Better to deal with Airlines directly

Very difficult website to work with. In an email they said they would provide 'an expiration date' for a covid airline flight that was cancelled in a future email. Never received an email after that first one. When I contacted them, they said the credit had expired and could do nothing about it. They then said to talk to airline, called airline and said talk to Travelocity. Covid explanation was worthless on their website. Feel like they stole $1.3k from me. Better to deal directly with airline.

My wife attempted to book us a flight…

My wife attempted to book us a flight to Colombia. Due to some glitch on the website ended up talking to a Travelocity human rep. She was told that she can cancel within 24 hrs. of booking with no costs. So she booked 2 tickets. We decided to cancel next day after our tour was postponed. After attempts to cancel online failed she ended up talking to a call center rep from Philippines who was following a script. Nearly half an hour of shameful delay tactics and when my wife was nearly in tears from frustration I attempted to cancel via "virtual agents" . I answered a dozen questions (delay tactics to discourage from a script) I was put on hold several times from 3 to 10 minutes and finally told to call back in an hour (past the 24 hour window) due to "system failure". My wife was able to cancel thru American Airlines directly just in the nick of time. This is totally a profits at all costs damn the customer outfit. I would never use them again and suggest booking thru the airlines directly instead.

Tremenda mierd@

Triple check your reservation

We got on Travelocity to reserve a rental car for our vacation. We stated we were flying into Jacksonville FL Airport and requested a rental car there. We land in Jacksonville only to find the reservation was for an offsite location (30 minutes away). There were no available rentals at the airport location. Complete failure in every way!

Travelocity is a very dishonest company

I traveled Spain last June and I booked a Barcelona City tour with Travelocity At the time of booking it was stated that one can get full refund if you cancel 24hours before the tour. The tour was supposed to be on July third. At the time of booking the site came up with a different date without me knowing it and the date was changed to June 6th. I got a call from Spain and I told them that I am in New York that I am not supposed to travel to Spain till June 19th. The contact person for the tour in Spain sent me an e/mail where he stated that the tour is cancelled but it is up to Travelocity to issue the credit. I called Travelocity on June 5th : 24 hours before the tour and spoke to a customer representative. This guy through the system knows that I made airline reservations and tour reservations for me and my family. He told me the ticket is non refundable. I told him I am calling you 24 hours before the tour , I got an e/mail from Spain confirming that the tour is cancelled that I will call the credit card company to cancel the transaction. The crook told me not to call the credit card company that can affect all my previous reservations and I believed him. He told me that he will contact Spain before I can get the credit I have been calling Travelocity travel team since June 5th about the issue. I called them many times and they keep telling me we are getting in touch with Spain before we can issue the credit . When I back from the trip the beginning of July I called Travelocity since I never got the credit and I was told that they are sorry that I can not get the money back. Travelocity has no customer service ethics they more into stealing people money. You would think that as a customer , Travelocity will be on my side to help me recuperating $458. They are more into you losing the money. They hire a bunch of Indians and one knows for sure how good they are with credit card scam, I get many calls from them from India all the times. Their recent e/mail to me stated that : did you ask us to speak to Spain?. I did not have to ask them to call Spain on my behave that is what they were supposed to do as a courtesy to a customer. TRAVELOCITY SITE IS A SCAM, DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING WITH THEM . WATCH YOUR CREDIT CARD

DO NOT TRAVEL WITH LEVEL THEY PACKED LIKE A BOX OF SARDINE - I WANT MY FULL REFUND BACK

IBERIA = VUELING=LEVEL SAME SEAT on the airplane each one charges differently for the seat on the plane. 8 HOURS traveled without No FOOD- No DRUNK You pay for everything we purchased 6 tickets from Travelocity to travel from New York JFK to Barcelona Airport and check in with Iberia. When we reached JFK the airplane was late by one hour and a half (1 1/2 hours) without any advertisement. While we were waiting they said that the airplane was on the piste and we will leave in 20 minutes. And when I looked thru the window I saw LEVEL I didn't say anything, I was thinking in my mind the airplane just landed with Covid how much cleaning did they do? Because Jet Blue always SANITIZE their airplanes way before COVID-19. OMG LEVEL looked to me like a bird cage, the Hallways were 10" not even the seats were very close with their 8" tables folded in 2 parts when I sat down, I know measurements very well they measured 10" THAT"S ALL YOU HAVE FOR FEET, and the air conditioner was 30 degree it was so cold I feel like I was inside of a FREEZER. I traveled in a wooden winter sweater plus a scarf on my hair just to show you how cold it was. The best part was when I pushed my chair backward the guy who sat behind me told me that I spelled his coffee on his lap, I told him that's because the seats were too close and the flight attendant kept dropping coffee on my feet and purse each time she walked in the hallway you see how tightly it was. We purchased food she dared give me half cup of coffee and when I asked her for milk, with a nasty tone she replied that" WE DON'T SERVE MIKL EVER IN THIS FLIGHT" EVEN THOUGHT YOU PAID you are not entitled to ask for anything, flight attendants were men and woman, the skinny woman looked like she had a hard life with a froggy voice and very nasty. Level packed us like a box of Sardine. Thank God nothing happens to us while we were in the air, imagine that your bones got broken before you fall down. We reached Barcelona we all have our feet swollen and it took days to get to normal. My ticket was a GIFT with Iberia not to travel your LEVEL 0. I demand a full refund.

I booked the Mimosa Hotel Miami through…

I booked the Mimosa Hotel Miami through Travelocity as advertised as a quality hotel only to arrive with my family and find our hotel destination infested with insects a roaches. This was totally unacceptable, the rooms totally uninhabitable and was told by Travelocity that they couldn't relocate me and my family the only resolve was to switch us to another room in the same hotel.... The Travelocity team and hotel should be ashamed and humiliated for offering such a hotel on their site. Consumers be aware not to stay at this hotel.

Travelocity stepped up big time for me

I have used Travelocity for years with great success - good deals, refunds as promised when following their rules, hotels as advertised. Travelocity went above and beyond this last weekend... I went to Mammoth Cave and had a hotel reserved 10 days in advance. When I got there the OYO hotel had cancelled my reservation without notice and told me they had no room for me. I called Travelocity and they were able to book me another much better hotel for the exact same price just a few miles away. Very happy Travelocity stepped in and corrected their vendors big mistake. Great work!

I booked a hotel in Canada and after…

I booked a hotel in Canada and after realizing I had left my passport at home I called to see if I could switch my hotel to the US side. Was told that I would not get a refund for the Canadian property even though I cancelled more than 24 hours before the stay. The insurance policy I paid for did not cover cancellations. I felt It was misrepresented. Won’t use this site ever again.

Car rental booking.

I booked a car rental with travelocity. It stated free cancellation. My flight was delayed and upon arrival i decided I didn't need a car and wanted to get to my destination. I was charged a day rental for not cancelling, yet it was not stated at time of booking. I spent an hour with travelocity trying to rectify this charge and they said I was correct that it stated FREE CANCELLATION but they could not reverse charge.

I booked flights to get to Miami from Hamburg

I booked flights to get to Miami from Hamburg several months in advance. It involved booking additional flights to get me to the various departure points on time. The times on one of the flights were changed and this meant that none of the other flights could be used. Travelocity refused to reimburse me and instead gave me a credit. I also had to cancel the trip and rebook a new one at a higher cost. This was done over the phone and so it was a travelocity agent who entered my information. They entered it wrong, unbenknownst to me till the day before my flight when i printed the flight details from virgin atlantic and noticed a very small issue with my name (my middle name was only stated as the first letter and this letter was attached to the first name, rather than with a space between them). I called them and they blamed me for entering the wrong information. Next day due to BA only having one person at check in and ridiculous security line I missed my flight. They tried to say that they could not reimburse me because of the issue with the name (which was not my fault!). When I pointed that out to them, then they were suddenly quite willing to rebook a new flight for me. I however had to rebook and pay more money for the new flight. I also lost my money on my connecting flights and have the added expense of now having to book a hotel in miami due to the change in dates. Absolutely disgusting immoral company. Do not use them.

Travelocity.com not trustworthy.

Travelocity.com advertises accommodation in Australia, yet charges you in USD. This is absolute criminal activity, do NOT use this site. It is not trustworthy. No where does it say rates are USD. Rates advised in USD only AFTER you book and pay!!! Australians do not use Travelocity.com!!!! I don't expect to hear back from these people as I enquired with them before and. had to speak to someone who has no knowledge of the market that they are selling accommodation to.
