The basket I ordered my sister was…

The basket I ordered my sister was beautiful ~ thank you. My sister sent me a photo. It arrived just as I was on the phone with her. Although it was not exactly like the wagon in the picture, they made up for it with an adorable wrought iron bicycle & basket, so her kids were happy too. Do not order from this company!

Do not order from this company!! Their website looks great with multiple selections and same day delivery however they do not DELIVER on time and no costumer service!! I’ve left messages on their 1-800 # to request a refund and had no one to answer the phone which I then left a message and no one has returned my call!! Paid $28.00 in express shipping- same day- the package is coming from Canada in 5+ days!!!! Again, Save your money and order from another trustworthy company!!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM MY REVIEW WHEN THEY ASKED FOR MY OPINION: If I could give you guys 0 stars I would! I honestly wish I would have never ordered from you guys. I wish I would've read the REAL reviews online before ordering. Unfortunately I just read the only reviews (all 4-5-star) on your website, my mistake. The day I was ordering, I called the customer service number and someone answered right away. They were nice and answered my questions. I verified with them that if I shipped that day it would be delivered on the day I needed (July 23). When I placed the order, it said the recipient would receive the package on the delivery date I needed. I received a notification that it had shipped. However the recipient did not receive it until a WEEK later (July 30) of the anticipated delivery date. I understand that you guys shipped it but don't notify the customer that it will be delivered in 2-3 business days when in fact it would be delivered in a week!! When I realized that it would be a day late, I began to call your company. I then tried emailing you guys. Then I tried "chatting" on your website. CLEARLY there is no one working at your establishment since I could not get an answer. I called every single day until the package was delivered, and was on hold for over 30 min. hoping someone would answer. How is it that when I am placing an order, some one answers the phone right away?? Yet once the order is processing, no one can answer the phone. I also tried calling your number from a different cell phone and received a different prompt that allowed me to leave a voicemail!!! I left a voicemail and of course no answer. WHAT COMPANY DOES THAT?! I don't know if this is how businesses are operated in Canada or wherever you're located, but in the US they are not. This was a very special present for someone and your company had to ruin it. You guys honestly should reconsider new management or treating your customers the right way. I will definitely be leaving a review on every review website since your company can't have the decency to return any of my calls, emails, or "chats". Do not bother messaging me or offering me anything. I will NEVER purchase from you guys again. Who knows if you guys will even read this, since no one cares about the customers anyway.

3 days late and ghosted by customer service

The $130 dollar basket I ordered to my residency placement on my last day at a hospital was delivered 3 days late, apparently, they delivered it to the wrong department and I ended up looking like an A-hole with no gift for someone amazing who trained me. With no reply from customer service for 3 days the basket finally showed up but when I politely asked for a discount on my next order or partial refund for the mix up on their end they stopped responding to my emails entirely, not even an apology. Clearly, they don't care about customer service at all and I will be using a different basket company in the future. They also conveniently didn't post my bad review on their website.

UNACCEPTABLE

UNACCEPTABLE. I ordered a basket christmas 2017 for over 100$. The person received the basket with rotten fruit inside and a broken bottle of wine. Immediately complained to their customer service. The told me to send pictures and they will investigate. I did. Never had news from them ever again. I called many times, left messages and sent e-mails and no one ever replies. This company is a FRAUD!

… Buying a pig in a bag!

I ordered a gift basket online which offered the option to create my own basket with the products they had to offer. so I wanted to make additions to a fruit basket by adding wine, cheese, chocolate and a small potted plant. The fruit option was already check marked so I added the above mentioned items. I chose a blue basket with a long handle, lined and a yellow happy face plant pot. the total was $117.81 They delivered an ordinary rusty looking brown basket with a soccer ball plant pot and no fruit. So basically I paid all of that money for just a bottle of wine, bar of chocolate, piece of cheese and a $2 African violet, an ugly pot and rusty basket. I felt cheated and mislead. These people are to be avoided! Do not order from them! They are dishonest and lack honor.

I wish I could give less than 1 star

I wish I could give less than 1 star. I ordered a box of 25 strawberries to be sent to a friend in Canada. This cost slightly over 100$ Canadian (about 87$ USD) and was set for 2 day shipping. She received a box of chocolate truffles instead. Customer service said basically "It was for the best the strawberries might have perished" and then didn't bother to answer my follow up email saying that fresh fruit and chocolate balls are not comparable items and my friend doesn't even like truffles. And an 87$ box of candy??? They never replied. 5 days later I msgd through the website again, they said they got the email but didn't reply because they'd already resolved things to the best of their ability. Which basically means nothing is resolved and they don't care and then gave me a link to a 3 page long shipping page. Somewhere down in the middle of it it says that if you order strawberries and choose a non-recommended shipping time they will send chocolates instead without notification. What??

Awful service

Awful service, all written below: voice mail is full, nobody is replying to my emails. They sent my friend one broken orchid instead of bouquet of Gerbera daisies I ordered and chocolates instead of strawberries. I was so disappointed and my friend took all bunch of pictures, but it won't help...I think somehow all our feedback should got to BBB attention.

Surprisingly good

I was pleasantly surprised it was good after reading all the comments. At least my experience was good, I ordered the Tim Hortons gift basket for my boyfriends birthday. Chocolate were not exactly the same but almost, it arrived on time but I did ordered it 4 days before the delivery date. I still wouldn’t be sure to order any fruit or raw ingredients baskets. The card was kinda disappointed they just printed it, I was expecting at least a handwritten note but it was still ok.

If I could give a 0 star I would

If I could give a 0 star I would. Hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Ordered vegan bday cake for my daughter. Received 9 days after expected delivery. Of course not edible. I attempted to contact company the day it was to arrive and after someone answered phone I politely enquiried about status (didn't realize SHYSTERS at this point). Placed on hold and after 20 minutes realized no one would be coming back. The rest of the day I never got an answer went straight to hold music (hmmm caller id?) Finally next day got a hold of someone and they said would get back to me of course never did. I have reported this to my credit card company to attempt to get refund. STAY AWAY . Not even sure it's a legitimate company.

Terrible business

I ordered an engraved cutting board in advance for my parents' anniversary only to be told on the *day* of delivery that I was getting a refund. When I called to find out what was going on, I was told the order was cancelled because the warehouse had shut down due to an injury earlier in the week. When I asked why I was being told this the day of delivery and not as soon as possible so that I could make other arrangements, the customer service male hung up on me! Terrible business!

This company should not be in business!

This company will never get another dollar for any type of item, gift, etc. from me. Customer service is awful! I ordered a Great Harvest Gift Basket with fruit and chocolate on 3/23/2018, expected to be delivered on 3/28/2018. I called after the tracking button did not work in my email. Hazelton's customer service said the courier "evidentially" lost my shipment. I instructed customer service I am canceling my order; and disputing the charge from my bank. They said we understand, but our policy states; if we deliver your order then we are not liable for the condition the package is it. WHAT? You got to be kidding me. No credit is due or will be given from Hazelton's. So I am now letting my bank handle this with them. I received an email notification today, 4/2/2018 that my package arrive. Again, you've got to be kidding me. Why in the world would they deliver a perishable gift basket with chocolate after 11 days being with the courier. $114 +? I will blog and warn others not to ever order with this company again! Reply

Poor Customer Service and Delivery - DO NOT USE

I received a gift for my birthday - it came in an unmarked box and was left out on the steps in the -15 Canadian weather. So you can imagine to my surprise when I opened it and it was flowers! All of which had perished. I contacted the company and the agent that I spoke to on the phone said it was strange that I had received flowers that were not properly marked. However, upon following up via e-mail with the company I was informed that my sender was actually at fault for choosing an incorrect shipping option and the company chose to neglect my question about why the flowers were shipped without proper notice on the box. When I tried to test the shipping option myself I did not receive any warning messages or notices that my flowers would be shipped incorrectly - a complete waste of money, and a sad end to what was supposed to be a kind birthday present. At the end of the day I'm sure that if the flowers had been properly handled they would have been fine. However it is quite clear through my communications with the company that they do not care about how you receive the product once they have your money. I would not recommend that anyone uses this company. I am extremely disappointed in the product I received and the customer service I received in trying to rectify the issue. At the end of the day I spent over a week in trying to get a response from the company and only have a bouquet of perished flowers to show for it.

False advertising and bad communication

Ordered a bunch of Rose flowers and set of cup cakes from HAZELTON BASKETS . They sent a bunch of twigs and the cupcakes were badly presented .I emailed them continuously and there was no response .This company shouldn’t be aloud to get away with this . There’s not one good comment about them

Very disappointing

I had the worst experience ever! I placed an online order for Valentine’s Day two items! A Prince Williams Champaign bottle & 18 Roses. I wanted to surprise my Fiance’. unfortunately only the prince William package was delivered and not the 18 Roses. I tried calling & sending emails to inform them that one of the items that i’ve Ordered was not delivered but no one answered back at all on the number which is on their website and the email that i’ve Received the confirmation of my delivery. Today I spoke to the customer service though the messaging on their site and he promised to deliver ASAP. Again nothing was received till now. Very unprofessional I will definitely not purchase anything from them anymore. Very very disappointed.

Do not use them

Do not use them, did not deliver on day chosen, quality of basket is terrible, not what is shown in photos. Voice mail box is full, and no response to emails. Requesting a refund from my bank.

Terrible service

Terrible service. I am seeing some of the same comments from others about this place. They don't send what you ask for and good luck seeing a refund. I have been bounced around from person to person and then completely ignored since November (3 months). Absolutely horrible customer service. I am resigned in the knowledge I will never see the money they owe me. Very upsetting

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS

Hazelton's Gift Baskets in Toronto (under the business name "The Baskets Group") needs to be exposed and shut down. They not only have an 'F' rating with the BBB, but they have a long and sordid history of deceiving customers out of rightful refunds when mismanaging their orders (which is surprisingly very frequent - almost too convenient). I am one of them. I ordered four (expensive) gift baskets in December 2017. They omitted items in two of them. Since then I have made numerous calls and sent dozens and dozens of emails to get my money back, to no avail. And on two occasions they told me a courier was coming to replace the baskets, which same never arrived. When I finally did manage to get a live person a few weeks ago ('Fahad'), he advised that they would e-wire my refund that day, which never came. Then last Friday he said a cheque was in the mail, but again, nothing was forthcoming. And now they're not answering their phone. During further research I've come across literally hundreds of people who have had similar (or worse) experiences with this company (and that's just the people who have posted their experiences over the net. I truly believe they are making a part-living out of robbing innocent people of their hard-earned money and have not been held accountable. Not even the BBB can get a response from them. Very bad service

If there was a way to put negative stars, they would well deserve them. A total disgrace. Hamper delivered in Canada four days late, in spite of the priority air service payment. Then, the bottle of French champagne we paid for was replaced by a cheap brand of prosecco. Called customer service today, Jan 29, got a voice message saying the offices are closed for the holidays and will re-open on Jan 2! Then, called again and was told to dial 2 for customer service. Dialled 2 and.... voice says invalid entry. Obviously no replies to my emails. This is a shameful service. If there is such a thing as consumer protection in Canada this business must be reported to them. STAY AWAY! BAD SERVICE AND DISHONEST!
