I agree with all the other reviews…Terrible company

I agree with all the other reviews here. I received a mouldy gift basket last Monday. My very generous friend had ordered it on the 7th February and it arrived on the 17th Feb. I contacted Hazeltons via on line chat and emailed photos and details of the damage and have had an automated email back saying they cant refund or help as I complained after 5 days of receiving the gift. This is complete scam as I emailed and have a transcript of the on line chat 12 hours after receiving the manky goods. I have also tried to contact their sales line but have been unable to reach a real person and have left 3 voicemails for them to call me back. Disgusting service and a terrrible company.

Terrible service

Terrible service. Simply terrible. I ordered flowers on St Valentine's Day to deliver to my girlfriend to Montreal. Delivery deadline was understood as the same day. When I emailed to them they responded: "that is the cut-off time in which you can place the order to have it delivered within the typical delivery time of 1 business day. It is not the time that the order will be delivered." If even so, it is strange to deliver flowers after St Valentine's Day. It is now 18 February evening. The flowers still have not been delivered, as far as I understand. Customers Service chose not to answer my emails any longer. Very sweet of them.

Very poor customer service

Ordered for a birthday on February 5 and I realized that the address was wrong, called on the 7th early morning to give correct address and had confirmation that It would be delivered before end of day. Today February 13 still not Delivered and couldn’t get any help from customer service, not sure why they have one. Very disappointed will not order from them again.

By far the worst customer experience…

By far the worst customer experience and product experience. This was truly embarrassing....I ordered a gift basket for delivery 12/24. Your company had no problem charging my credit card the $118 on that date, but did not deliver the gift until January 15th. The recipient said the basket was so moldy and spoiled that the smell was overwhelming and she needed to get it out of her house. This basket was also supposed to have included a teapot and cup, which were completely shattered. I attempted to get a refund, and have got nothing but the run around. I have filed a grievance with American Express and intend to file a complaint with the Attorney General. When calling your company the only option to get a real person is if you wish to place an order...customer service is directed to email.....and when trying to place a rated review on the Hazelton website, when you click on the 1 star, it automatically gets changed to the 5 star. I call that deliberately misleading and would call your company a complete scam.

This has been THEEE MOST DISAPPOINTING…

This has been THEEE MOST DISAPPOINTING service of my life ever! I ordered a CAD 178 gift basket to be sent to my boyfriend in Vancouver. The order was placed on Jan 30, 2020 for a delivery to be made on Feb 5, 2020 (a day before he turned 50). Instead, he is running around the whole place to collect the basket and after him tracking the system and the checking with the office and the truck. . he STILL DID NOT GET the basket. Now, HE HAS TO GO EARLY IN THE MORNING ON THE DAY HE TURNS 50 to pick it up HIMSELF You better get your act together because this here is a case good enough for me to file a consumer act against a company who promises a gift basket on a same day delivery. You should stop your service - 95% of the people who have used your service have rated you as BAD!

I would leave a zero review if I could. I just got off the phone with customer service and all they did was yell at me saying their mistake is my fault. I live in Los Angeles and this Christmas on Dec 20 I ordered a $108 gift basket to be delivered to my friend who lives in Winnipeg. It was supposed to get there before Christmas and I realize with the Christmas rush it could’ve been a few days late. However it never got there! I never knew either, they never notified me. On New Year’s day my friend called me and I said thank you for the gift basket she sent me, and that I hope she liked hers. But she said what gift? That was the first I heard that it never got there. I just got off the phone with them and the representative was the rudest person I have ever talked to in a customer service situation. All the rep did was argue at me saying I did something wrong and that it is my fault. She said looking through the records that a courier tried to deliver it and took it somewhere else because the person was not home. There was no notice left on her door, no email to me about it, and no way for me to know there was a problem. Then she just kept going on and on about how it was my fault. They will not give me my money back. I finally wished her a good day and hung up while she was still berating me. Do not use this business! I realize mistakes can happen, but they blame the customer for their mistakes. The representative I talked to was the rudest person I’ve ever had on a business call.

Terrible Service with NO solution

Terrible execution - Delivered late and the recipient didnt get it in time. My email confirmed the "latest" time they would deliver and it was STILL later than this. Timing is everything for a nice suprise gift basket otherwise what's the point. The Customer service said sorry it was late nothing we can do and had NO SOLUTION. Refund??? Partial Refund?? NOTHING. Will never use this service again after spending a premium to a late gift and DO NOT RECOMMEND unless they make it right.

I wish I saw these reviews before I…

I wish I saw these reviews before I purchased a delivery from this company. I am putting 3 stars only because my friend was super happy with her orchid and plants arrangement. She really liked it. I give 1 to awful customer service for two reasons. I will explain. 1) I was on the phone when I could see a call coming from an 800 number. I guessed it was about my gift delivery but couldn’t pick up the call as I was in a different business call. When I finished my call and took the voicemail it said that the address I provided was wrong and if I don’t call back within 2 min, my order would be canceled and I would have to pay the shipping back fee! What? Seriously ? Who are the customer service people ????? Anyway, I called the first number and it appeared it was the driver and he said he found the address (it wasn’t wrong), then I called the customer service number that left the nasty message and told her who I was . It was the same person that left me the message. She said, yes we found the address. I had to squeeze “sorry” out of her. 2) with my flower delivery, I ordered a nice red wine bottle ( Côte du Rhone) . Instead they delivered a cheaper wine bottle Beaujolais and added a cheese board? Why? A call to the person who ordered with an apology that that particular wine is not available and a question what to include would have been a normal customer service. I am not sure I will order through this company again, just can’t trust them.

If I could give no stars, I would! Terrible customer service! I placed an order with Hazeltons for a gift basket to be delivered on the 13th of December (before the holidays) I wasn't informed until almost a month later that the delivery was unsuccessful(after the holidays). They now want to charge me a fee because some of the perishables have gone bad. I feel like this could have been avoided had they contacted me sooner about the missed delivery. I spoke to one lady at the company she was very unapologetic, and trying to get in contact with customer services is near impossible!! Will never use this service again.

Worst gift merchant I've ever done business with

Ordered a gift basket to be arrived before new years eve, I even paid extra for faster shipping. Receipt showed delivery date of 12/31. It's January 9th, the gift basket is nowhere to be seen and Hazelton's refuses to provide a refund. I warn everyone reading this review to shop elsewhere.

Bad Service will never deal with this company again

Ordered holiday baskets for clients. Was advised after the holidays that 1 company was not delivered to. Was charged a reattempt fee and was still not delivered and they had the nerve to ask for more money. You can not get a hold of a person and they only communicate through e-mail.

Can't tell if incompetent or a scam, but don't ever buy from this company

I bought a gift basket for a family member for Christmas. After new years, I was contacted by a complete stranger who lives 3000 miles away who told me they received the order addressed to them, but with my family's address and my phone number inside the package. I contacted customer support and received no response, so now I'm filing a claim with my credit card company. I wish I saw this website first; live and learn.

Internet scam

Zero stars. I paid 241.00 for a champagne and cheese gift with a nice cutting board. The client on request send me a picture of a small basket with 20$ worth of junk in it. No champagne. No cutting board. Note card with gift appears to have been written by a grade schooler. Very embarrassing to have a good client receive this rubbish. Customer service response is a bot reply.

The customer service from Hazetons is the absolute worst!!

The customer service from Hazetons is non-existent, they really have no idea what they are doing. I made an error in the address field which provided an address that did not exist, my bad. I was notified by Hazeltons that this was delivered, it was not, and I contacted Hazetons. I had an email from a rep named Jane who told me it was not their problem and that I would have to their courier directly . I could not raise a person on the phone and basically they emailed and told me to get stuffed. I would expect that they would have been notified by their courier to let them know that the address was incorrect and that they would have contacted me to get the correct address. Please find another gift basket company to use that is professional and offers at least some customer service. These guys are the worst!

Baskets did not get delivered!

Baskets did not get delivered I ordered two baskets Dec 19th, for Christmas, they still have not been given to the shipper as of today Dec 31st. The company wont answer phone calls, and they wont provide me a refund and cancel these orders. One of the parties is not even at the address any longer as it was just for the holiday. Not sure where to go now to get my money back. TERRIBLE...never order from this company

dead plant sent to grieving friend

Ordered a plant to a good friend whose father had passed. They delivered a dead plant and refused to rectify the situation. Imagine that, you are in mourning just before Christmas, and receive a dead plant.

What A Joke

Place an order early for delivery Dec 20 and it might get delivered on Dec 27. Call customer service and you're told it's "faster" if you email. Of course no response to the email, no explanation for the delay, and no early warning that your gift basket isn't going to make it for Christmas. Beyond disappointed in this company. This was my first - and last - time using this company. Should have read these reviews first.

HORRIBLE!

HORRIBLE! If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. I placed an order on December 17th for my aunt. It was supposed to be delivered on December 23rd. It is now December 26th and I can't even get in contact with anyone at this company. I received an email saying that a UPS shipping slip was created, but it was never processed. UPS doesn't have my package and no one from Hazelton's is even responding to my customer service emails. This company is a SCAM! Do not order from here.

Promised delivery in 1 day

Promised delivery in 1 day. They offered weekend delivery. Contract their deliveries out to a company that does not work on the weekend. I received an email stating that my basket was shipped and received a tracking number that does not exist. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
