Not happy with Hazeltons and there is …

Not happy with Hazeltons and there is apparently nobody to talk to about it. They delivered the wrong order (I ordered it with Italian Prosecco but was sent cheap discount bourbon - classy!!!) to my recipient 8 days after me paying for their top level next day delivery. Contacted them and they won't even respond on it. If they are still in business then they clearly should not be. 😡 Next time I want a speedier delivery, a more accurate product description, and a higher level of customer service, then I will just order straight from China instead!!!

BE FOREWARNED !!

All these reviews hit the mark totally !! I ordered from them....they NEVER sent the gift, NEVER responded to my emails, and finally tried to "cover up" by sending the item 3 weeks late !! EXTREMELY BAD BUSINESS, EXTREMELY DISHONEST ! BE FOREWARNED !!!! If there were negative stars on the rating, it would be perfect....

HORRIBLE - Incorrect Order & Appalling Customer Service - STEER CLEAR

Our company decided to try out Hazelton’s for the first time this year – and we are shocked at how terrible of a decision it was. We ordered 5 large gift baskets to be sent to our clients. I repeatedly called Hazelton’s to confirm my order over the phone, but the lines were busy and their voicemails were full and I was unable to get through. The gift baskets were sent out without the message I attached, so nobody knew it was from us. On top of that, some of the baskets were delivered at 7:45PM to a business (which was guaranteed delivery before 5PM) and sat outside in the snow overnight. I finally got through to customer service today (after 5 days of calling repeatedly) and was told there was nothing to be done. I was not offered a credit or refund of any kind – a first time customer that spent $1100. When customer service asked “Well, what do you want me to do?” and I said “I want the gift baskets sent out correctly, with the message” she laughed hysterically and hung up the phone on me. When I called back, and reported this instance to a manager, I was told the phone calls are not recorded and she was “Sorry”. Still, no credit or refund of any kind offered. We will never use this “service” again as the way their operation is run and how they handle incorrect orders is abysmal. It is clear that they rely on volume orders and take zero effort into making customers happy and want to return.

You have been warned

You have been warned Worst company ever. Should have listened to the people who left bad reviews. Am convinced their 5 star reviews are fake. Go on Glassdoor to find out more about the company from actual employees. Also go to better business bureau website. They have a F rating. I wish I had done this before I placed an order. They are so right. I placed an order on the 18th, chose guaranteed next day delivery and it was not delivered till the 21st. According to them I chose 20th. How do I choose next day delivery and then am being told I chose a date, next day delivery is self explanatory. This was a blatant lie. Even if I chose 20th, it was not delivered then either. When it was undelivered on the 20th, I asked for a cancellation and refund. This is the reply I got 3 days later: Thank you once again for your order. We would like to extend our sincerest apologies for the delay in communication. Please be advised that your request for refund and cancellation has been denied due to our company's policy - ZERO CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY (available on our website). We do apologize for the delay in delivery, which was caused by unforeseen situations. We can confirm that your order was successfully delivered on the 21st of December by 8.30pm Best Regards Please also note delivery was made by the company without the card and message I wrote. Recipient had no idea who sent basket until I called her. She had tried to call company no reply.

I do not recommend this company

I do not recommend this company. I ordered a Christmas basket on a Tuesday choosing a Thursday delivery and my friend did not get it. I just found out it will not be delivered until 5 days AFTER the delivery date. This company needs to be upfront with their delivery. THEY DO NOT DELIVER ON TIME AND THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING. WHY ARE THEY GETTING AWAY WITH THIS?! and now I can't get them on the phone to even try to see if I can get an earlier delivery.

Worst Business Ever

I ordered a custom bucket to be delivered to my husband, as a surprise on his 40th birthday. His birthday was the next business day. I chose the "Same Day Hand Delivery - Guaranteed" to businesses by 5 pm/ residences by 8 pm. I specifically instructed them to get to to his workplace by 4:00pm. I also mentioned on the order note that, if they were unable to do so, to cancel it. I got a call the next morning from Hazelton's Canada about a discrepancy with my order. They have charged me more for in item due to an error in their website. I asked for a refund. I also reminded them of the 4:00 pm deadline and was assured that it will be done. Around 3:20 pm, I called customer service to inquire about the delivery. They said that the driver was still an hour away and won't make it by 4:00om. I was really disappointed. They assured me that it will be delivered to my home by 8:00 pm. They even reconfirmed my home address. My husband left work at 4:15pm. He called me and said he was received several calls from a guy inquiring about when he will leave work (!) and that he is running late for his delivery. He also started to go on about how he was all these other deliveries to make to Oakville and such! First of all, my husband was the recipient of a surprise. It is beyond me why the driver will call him and not me! Secondly, it is definitely not my husband's problem if he has too many deliveries to make. Right there an then the company failed me! My husband, not knowing anything about what was going on, asked the driver to deliver whatever it was to our home address. Despite my original request of 4:00 pm deliver, my 2nd phone request to get it delivered to my home (since they failed to keep their commitment), and my husband's request to the driver; the gift basket was still delivered to his workplace on a Friday at 4:48 pm, before a long-weekend, by the same driver who called and harassed him multiple times at his work!!!! As soon as I got the delivery notification, I called the delivery guy on his cell, begging him to get it to my home by 8:00 pm. He flatout lied about ever knowing about the 4:00pm deadline, or about the home delivery. He said, he is leaving for Mississauga and can do nothing about my problem; as if it is none of his business! My husband came home on his 40th birthday without getting his surprise, or a present waiting for him on his big day! The next morning I called the customer service and asked for a refund, since they have failed to do what they have charged me for - "Same day hand delivery", taunted my husband at his workplace, and caused me to lose face. She was the same person I have been speaking with all of yesterday; and yet, she went back on her words and said, they did what they are supposed to do and delivered before 5!!! Hazelton's have totally ruined our day unapologetically. They did not reimbursed me for the original overcharge; nor they have refunded me for their failure to provide me service. They haven't even called me back to inquire about my complain. I have nothing but regret that I took my business to them!

Poor customer service, did not deliver what we ordered

We ordered a beautiful 30 stem bouquet of fresias and a bottle of sparkling wine for my Aunties 80th Birthday. We live in the UK and she is in Canada so we wanted something really special to arrive on her birthday, what was delivered were 3 badly displayed plants, we were sent a pic and there was no wow factor in that gift. Complained on a few occasions but customer care or providing an honest services is obviously not important to this company. They spoilt our surprise, that is something we cannot get back. Like other reviewers wish I could give negative stars

Shut this business down

Shut this business down!! *Minus 5 stars* Anyone having dealings with this company should contact Consumer Protection Ontario and have them investigated by filing a complaint. I cannot believe that in 2017 there are still shady people out there like this trying to get away with ripping people off. The courier company they use - Nationex - does not deliver on Saturdays or Sundays. Do not believe the Hazelton websites claim that delivery is 7 days a week. They have a "F" rating on the BBB website, submit a complaint there too. Do not use Yorkville Gift Baskets either as that is this shady business's twin.

I wish I could put zero stars. Company takes money and never delivers!!

I wish I could put zero stars. What an appalling company, possibly the rudest and most incompetent customer service I have ever dealt with. My mother tried to send me a gift using hazelton and I wasn't at home to receive delivery. I was told by the deliver driver to contact customer service to organize a redelivery. I spoke to 2 very unhelpful people, before getting to the queen B, who first of all tried to get me to pay for the delivery, which I refused. She then back tracked very fast when I told her to just cancel it all together. Then I was told it would be delivered the next day, and asked if I would be home... It is now 10:30pm, I haven't left the house at all and guess what... No delivery!! What an appalling company. I can only guess they make all there money by never delivering anything!! STAY CLEAR OF HAZELTON and any company affiliated with them.

I wish there was a negative star

I wish there was a negative star! Hazeltons has the very worst customer service I have ever dealt with. A friend sent us a gift basket for Christmas. We live in Richmond B.C. The items were glued to a woven tray, when we tried to take the items off the tray thebtryabbroke into pieces. The items were all similar to each other, Three jars of honey ? Two jars of nuts, they were not sealed. Two boxes of crackers one box of crakzers were broken into bits, the other box was out of date, I called customer service, they talk that only glue that worked for shipping and they can't be responsible for how the the crackers and nuts arrived, they REFUESD to refund my friends and would not replace the basket, I followed up with emails and they not answered. THE WORST COMPANY.

Terrible Service

One star is one too many.....I ordered a hamper as a Christmas gift for my son, girlfriend and soon to be born grandson as they are in Canada and I live in Spain. The company accepted my requested delivery date however the hamper has still not been received! The company say that this is due to a high number of orders, however this was a Christmas present and I believe they really should have advised their customers that they could not make the delivery on time prior to the date requested. Hazleton's also inform me that they are unable to track the hamper so do not know when it will arrive! Shocking and extremely disappointing.
