Hola Health Reviews

Was seen by Dr Mahmood via video consult, who was totally useless. Despite telling him i was in severe pain that wouldn't resolve and I have a diagnosis of osteoporosis which I sent him proof of before the consult (although I don't think he bothered to look), he said he couldn't give me anything for the pain despite there being clear documented justification and him having the ability to provide a small supply of S4 meds if he wished. When I asked for releif he just shook his head and then waved his hand goodbye to me, he couldn't have been more dismissive if he tried.

Hola Health? More like Hola Headache. Tried to do the right thing and avoid clogging up the emergency room when my son had croup and needed a steroid script. Booked a consult with Hola Health—paid, waited, doctor called… and then nothing. Their end wouldn’t connect, the call dropped after a few minutes, and somehow the system marked it as “completed.” Completed?! I didn’t even get a “hello.” Tried to resolve it like a civilised human—lodged a complaint, waited… tumbleweeds. Ended up going through another Telehealth provider because, shocker, my son still needed actual medical care. That consult worked perfectly, no tech issues, no drama. The next day—still radio silence. Sent a stern (but very polite… mostly) email demanding a refund. After some back and forth, they finally agreed—but told me it would take five to ten business days to process. Honestly, I’ve seen sloths move faster. Save your time, money, and sanity. Unless you enjoy yelling into the void and pretending dropped calls are healthcare, give this service a hard pass.

just paid for a long consultation expecting a proper medical evaluation and what do I get? Told flat out she can’t order any tests because she may not be online when the reports returned yet the service is offered on its website. Seriously? I wasted my money on a useless, lazy doctor who refuses to do her job. The whole site is a SCAM If your service can’t provide basic tests, why the hell are you offering a service ? This is a total scam and a massive waste of time and money. stop pretending you’re helping anyone. Stay away from this company!!

Quick response but my daughter had an obvious bacterial infection and they refused to prescribe antibiotics. There was puss coming from the wound. We were prescribed anti fungal cream! The pharmacist took one look and we are now in giant care getting antibiotics.

My doctor did not take the time to listen to me nor my concerns and simply dismissed my questions and provided a one day medical certificate that was unfit for the purpose I needed it for. She hung up on me abruptly before I could say anything. I paid for a multi-day certificate and have no option to receive a refund. I am appalled by her dehumanising conduct.

Shocking service. Doctor was hard to hear and understand. Didn’t listen to my concerns and prescribed medication k certainly do not need. Still sick. Do not reply to emails either. Don’t waste your time and money.

Borderline Scam. No refund policy for terrible service.

This service is trash. Run by cowboys. A complete waste of time and money. I had to go to a proper doctor the next day. Most online Doctors are OK but 100% not this mob.

Was seen by Dr Clive Reekie who was able to fulfil my medical certificate on the phone right then and there. Even had it sent to me whilst hanging up. I was nervous reading the other reviews as I was in the waiting room but this really helped ease my mind.

I explained that we are on holidays travelling in our van and my GP usually sends me an escript but unfortunately he is in hospital. I asked at the chemist for a dr to see in town but no o e was available and the put me on to these drs online. I have medical leter from my doctor with a summary of my medicines and after they took my payment they wouldn't produce the scripts but went on to tell me I had to see my GP. after telling g then he was in hospital. I feel this is a gimmick and would not recommend them at all.

Wish I saw the other reviews, absolute rubbish service and rude doctor. Dont recommend.

Terrible experience just trying to get the medication I need to function. I really can’t stand places that have some small amount of pharmacies that you can only collect from (or pay for postage!). No pharmacy within SEVERAL KMS (Stafford and Coorparoo the only options!) when trying to pick up from the MIDDLE OF THE CBD in Brisbane. Stafford and coorparoo shut at 6pm on a Thursday? What kind of rubbish service is this. All the more infuriating when all I’m trying to do is get my medication. They should cease offering a service they can’t provide. They’re messing with peoples lives and health.

My regular GP was away and the rest of the GPs in the same clinic was booked out. I was unwell and this service is great. I didn't have to run around trying to get an appointment and I was given a medical certificate to rest at home.

Would put 0 stars if i could. My doctor hung up pn me saying i was "too much" within less than 20 seconds. I was not too much... considering suing. I want a refund at the minimum. Do not use this service they could not help with shit.

All I want is a new script! Thought this would be quicker than waiting until my reg doctor who can't see me for a fortnight. First time doctor hung up on me before the call started. Got a new link and 45 minutes later still waiting. Regrettably the system at Hola does not work. Would give a 5 star for actual human being calling me to advise how they were going to fix the "Doctor hang-up". But overall it's a half star for Hola. My suspicions is that the Doctor probably has to do a school run. Well now I, am late for work. Started this process at 7.15am and it's now 8:33am. Done my cash for the appointment that never happened. Waste of money and time.

Booked an instant appointment for an urgent med. They never called and I could not get through on the phone. Took two hours of emailing for them to say they never had an appointment booked for me. I expressed it was urgent and they then cancelled my appointment and refused to refund it. Now I am out of pocket with no medication and a wasted morning

used their instant prescription service twice. they don't prescribe other meds than the one you opted BEFORE videocall. They can not change anything manually after discussing in the video call also will not give you multiple months supply. therefore you have to go back every month, which is costly in the long run. should avoid unless you're in a rush and need only a minimum supply.

I requested a script for my regular medication, was assured I would receive it after 20 minutes. My script NEVER ARRIVED.I then had to pay another Doctor on another site to provide my script. There was no feedback when I reached out to their support team .

I wish I had read these reviews before paying $80 for an appointment. I had exactly the same experience as some others. Technical issues and waiting for over an hour and never got to talking to a doctor. I made the appointment via hotdoc so Hola health staff said any refund requests need to go to hotdoc and they can't provide any further assistance.

I paid and never got my medical certificate
