Twice now I have had my dates changed at check out! The first time they added a month to my trip..,,. cost me over $600 to correct it. Just recently I booked flight, hotel and a rental car. I did not receive the conformation email until sometime in the middle of the night by the time I reviewed it and realized they had cut a day off my trip it was to late to correct it with out incurring over $1500 worth of changes. I WILL NEVER USE THIS SITE AGAIN!!! BEWARE

I WISH I could leave no stars

I WISH I could leave no stars. They are the most deceiving, money hungry company I have ever encounter. I purchased trip insurance through them for an upcoming trip. BE ADVISED: NEVER PURCHASE IT. I needed to use it to change my flight to the next day. I was informed it would be a $200 change fee per the airline policy. I purchased insurance though so I called travelocity up to see why this charge was happening. Turns out travelocity insurance only covers a death, medical injury, etc. AKA EVERYTHING THE AIRLINE ALREADY COVERS YOU FOR WHEN YOU PURCHASE A TICKET. Absolutely disgusted. Will never use this company again.

After planning what is suppose to be a…

After planning what is suppose to be a trip of a lifetime through your company, I am now totally convinced your company is nothing but dishonest, deceitful and downright liars. We were contacted by a rep from your company late Sunday to ‘reach out immediately’ because of a dramatic change in our flights. We were told our flight from Madison, WI to Atlanta had been cancelled and we need to find other options. We asked for more time to do research on our options. Your rep informed us that we had a one time offer to change without additional costs. We spent hours researching new flights, new dates, new hotels to find out when we called back the ‘cancelled’ flight was back ‘on’ ... and to change to our new flight, date and hotels was going to cost us thousands more!! What?? After many more hours on the phone talking to your internal team, we still have no resolution. No one there is willing to admit the original ‘flight’ out of Madison was NEVER cancelled!! (We reached out to the airline directly and asked) We were outright lied to AND now you’re not listening and are in denial of what occurred. What a disgraceful company. IM me so we can resolve this and you can show people you know how to make things right with your customers.

CANCEL button is a SCAM

CANCEL button is a SCAM! I booked a roundtrip flight to Copenhagen on Travelocity for my husband and I, then cancelled it within two hours by clicking on their CANCEL button online because I found a better airline and connection on Expedia. (Suppose to be able to cancel any reservation on Travelocity free within 24 hrs!) When I hit the CANCEL button, a screen came up showing me the amount of my credit ($2432.02) – which I surmised was the original total minus the insurance and their booking fee. My Travelocity online “my account” also showed no upcoming flights and the previous booking to Copenhagen, was listed as a search only; so I thought all was good. NOPE! Our VISA statement arrived showing the charge ($2606.32) but no credit. I called Travelocity THREE times! I was continually put on hold and passed from one “supervisor” to another. First phone call was one hour and final person said they would contact me in 3-5 days. After a week and no word, I called again – same routine. After 40 minutes, a “supervisor” told me it was probably a computer glitch and he would talk to his “supervisor” and call me right back if we got disconnected, which we did, but he did not call back. Third time I called, 3 hours later, another “supervisor” said “corporate” had made the decision that they had no record of the cancellation so there would be no refund!!! Obviously, the CANCEL button is a scam! None of the “supervisors” would comment on the button!

Bought a ticket with Cathay Pacific…

Bought a ticket with Cathay Pacific from Newark to Manila in March and I bought the additional insurance they were offering just in case, I'm a peruvian living in Lima , due certain medical conditions I had to take daily medicines which I lost in a trip to Palawan island (My backpack fall to the sea and medicines got wet). I had to shorten my trip in Asia, and go back to Newark and then Lima, no way to get my medicines in the US without a prescription as you know . Had to pay USD 200 to change my ticket back to Newark, I sent my refund letter to the company they work with (AON), had passed 2 months and no reply from them. Also when I tried to add the miles to my ONEWORLD LATAM card, they told because the fare I had, that was not possible. They should advise this before paying to them not after, they say CONFIRMED WITH THE AIRLINE, next time I will buy my tickets directly with the airlines and not TRAVELOCITY.

Terrible!!!

Terrible!!!! They sell you seats stating they are coach, then you get basic economy without seat assignments. You contact them and they tell you it is the airlines fault, you call them, they tell you it is Travelocity's fault. No solution. DO NOT BOOK WITH TRAVELOCITY EVER.

DO NOT TRUST TRAVELOCITY...THEY'LL LEAVE YOU STRANDED EVEN AFTER YOU'VE PAID

You guys are the worst...and have no business helping people book hotels. I booked a Hotel through Travelocity for Thurs- Mon (May 17-May 21). Reservation was for the Freemount hotel in Vegas. Travelocity made the reservation and charged my debit card approximately $630 for the stay. I get to the hotel, and surprisingly they have NO record of any reservation and tell me that I need to contact travelocity. So I call travelocity, and long story short, they end up telling me that the Freemount hotel has no available rooms for those nights. Completely shocked, I explain that the $630 has already been debited from my account. To which they explain "don't worry were going to refund that money"I ask "when?"... and they tell me IN A WEEK. I explain that I'M ALREADY IN VEGAS AND NEED A HOTEL. To which they say that they will find me another hotel nearby with the same availability. After being placed on hold for NEARLY 30 MINUTES, They tell me they found a nearby hotel with availability. And that the total will be $730. So I ask if the original $630 I ALREADY PAID will be used to credit it and they say "no". So I had to pay AN ADDITIONAL $730!!! I explain that I DON' T JUST HAVE ANOTHER $730 DOLLARS lying around in my checking account, I already spent $630 on my original reservation. They didn't care and pretty much told me that I had to wait for a week to get that 630 back . They kept assuring me that I would be refunded the $630 ..to which I would reply "Yes, BUT IN A WEEK... I'M ALREADY IN VEGAS. I NEED A HOTEL NOW!". Long story short, the answer I got was well "this is your only option right now. Do you want the hotel or not?" I had to pull money from my savings just to get the hotel. I ended up paying nearly $1,300 dollars in one day. They literally almost made me homeless for the weekend. How are you going to charge someone $630...and THEN tell them after..."Oh by the way....we don't have that product available..." Horrible and completely unreliable company. If I had the time and resources I would take this further...but quite frankly its not worth it to me. I would just like to spread this story so everyone knows not to trust them. I have no problem with clarifying further if anyone has any questions. BTW....I spoke with multiple travelocity reps...and every one of them conveyed a complete lack of caring.

They are the worst...FOR SURE DON'T USE ITS A RIPOFF !!!!!!

They are the worst.... My son graduates from Lackland AFB and they booked me a hotel too far away from the Air Force Base and he can't even spend time at our hotel because its out of his approved traveling range. I specifically asked for a hotel close to Lackland when I booked this thinking they knew what they were trained to do>>> OBVIOUSLY NOT !!!!!!! I called when I realized this was outside his range and all I wanted to do is change locations to a closer Marriott hotel... I was told by several associat3es that my only option was to cancel the first reservation and rebook at the new location and pay for TWO HOTELS the whole time I am there and they would refund my money on the original hotel in 7-10 business days..... I dont have 1500.00 to tie up in 2 hotels because of lack of attention to detail and what I requested on TRAVELOCITY SCREWUP so now my son won't be able to enjoy some family time at the hotel I am paying over 100.00 a day for.... NEVER USE TRAVELOCITY AGAIN WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER !!!!!!!!

I booked a hotel room for two nights…

I booked a hotel room for two nights for my family and I , I asked for Pacific things in our room we wanted a large room with a king-size bed and a hot tub in our room an indoor swimming pool in the hotel the operator assured me that everything would be perfect when we got there big surprise we had a small room yes we had a large bed but nothing was like the way I booked it over the telephone, this upset us very much because that was a big part of the plan for the family vacation, I even asked the operator are you sure there is a hot tub in the room he said yes I also asked is there an indoor swimming pool at the hotel he said yes.. we tried not to let this spoil our vacation.

Very bad service!!

Very bad service!!! Upon arrival to the hotel the receptionist could not find our reservation info. The hotel was over booked on that day. The receptionist tried to reach Travelocity but was not able to. We had to find another hotel. Now after my vacation I had to spent more than one hour with one of Travelocity customer representative trying to fix the Travelocity mistake. It's so frustrating that we had to spent time there and now we have to spend time here to proof something. I don't recommend using Travelocity site to anyone.

Misleading on travel itinerary - arrival airport

I am very disappointed TRAVELOCITY SWAPPING THE AIRPORT OF DESTINATION WITHOUT INFORMING ITS CUSTOMER. Then, its agent asks for MUCH MORE FEE to change the right destination, although TRAVELOCITY MAKES ITS MISTAKE IN THE FIRST PLACE. I WILL NEVER BOOK MY FLIGHTS WITH TRAVELOCITY AGAIN. I also suggest customers watching out for TRAVELOCITY MISLEADING its customer. I booked an around trip from my city to Los Angeles, CA. Travelocity site displayed the airport of destination as LAX (Los Angeles Airport). However, after booking, Travelocity SWAPPED THE ARRIVAL AIRPORT to Orange County (SNA) WITHOUT INFORMING THE CUSTOMER. However, the return trip starting from LAX was correct. When confirming my trip, I overlooked the destination of departing trip with simple reasons: 1) I entered Los Angeles as my destination; 2) my return trip would start from LAX that is correct; 3) I would expect if Travelocity changes my destination, they should inform the customer the destination change, BUT TRAVELOCITY CHANGED THE BOOKING DESTINATION WITHOUT THE CUSTOMER'S KNOWLEDGE. I tried to reach explaining the situation, they gave me non-sense reasons and asked to pay additional $200 for changing the fly, although the airfares to Los Angeles and to Orange County are the same.

Don't ever use Travelocity

Don't ever use Travelocity, It's garbage. I bought travel insurance from them and when I ended up needing it, they would not pay through. I lost about $2000 from them because of it. I had a connecting flight from Budapest to Paris, to Iceland, to Toronto. Air France was on strike so my flight ended up getting cancelled so I was unable to catch my other flights. They gave me an alternative flight that did not work with my current schedule. They did not give me a refund, they did not give me another flight to get back to Canada. I was stuck in Europe and I had to book a last minute flight back to Canada which was not cheap... I called them back when I got back home and again, they refuse to give me a refund and the customer service rep was rude. Horrible service, so much stress, never booking with them again.

They don't care about you

They don't care about you, they only care about money. I would never ever use them again. I booked a trip with them and the services I paid for were not provided. In a few words they suck. Do not use them, read their reviews they are all negative. I wish I had checked their reviews prior to booking my trip. I am currently in a dispute with them with my credit card. Don't trust what they tell you, they are a bunch of liars!!!

Purchased round trip private shuttle…

Purchased round trip private shuttle transportation from Travelocity with the vendor Super Shuttle Mexico and would never use either company again. Our driver was a no-show for the ride from the hotel to the airport. Waited 1/2 hour, called at least once and still they did not show so we took a taxi. Neither Travelocity nor Super Shuttle will refund for 1/2 the cost, so we are disputing with our credit card.

Don’t book vacations with anyone other…

Don’t book vacations with anyone other than airline. My e documents didn’t get sent to me, on phone with customer service for 1hour, had my right email, but had difficulty sending me my documents so I could check in. Emailed, but given standard email they would get back to you in 48 hours. My plane was leaving in less than 24 hours. No apologies. Just wanted to charge me for a seat selection

Such a scam

Such a scam! Every time I start to book with them I get to the very end and all the sudden a warning box pops up and it says "We hate when this happens-the price has increased." And all the sudden the price goes up $300. But miraculously if I start the process over it still starts out showing me the lower price. SCAM ARTISTS

I booked a flight online with Traveloticy

I booked a flight online with Travelocity from Calgary to Pittsburgh through JFK on WestJet/Delta. This was fine. I later followed the instructions on my email itinerary to inquire about changing my flight. I followed their links and while the websit ewarned that Westjewt coudl charge up to $100 for a change fee, to my surprise - the travelocity website cstated that Westjet was only charging a $19.95 change fee and moreoevere that th enew itninerary was acrtually 30$ cheaper than the original one. BASed on that information, I set up several meetings and a hotel room based around the altered flgiths. During this 24 hor time period - the travelocity website for he changed fee - stayed abosolutely unchanged. When I went to actually make the change, th ewebiste woudl not accept the changes so I called Trevelocity. The first woman appeared not to udnerstand the problem at all. She insisted the change fee was $100 - while th ewebsite actually stated "up to $100). This was besides the point - I wanted to inquire about the flight changes. She claimed the flight I wanted was not available. Then she said to actually ifnd out what was available she had to ransfer me to a supervisor. The supervisor spoke better ENglish and understood the problem exactly. The flight change fee with WEstjet was in fact only $19.95. but the difference in flights (now opnly a few weeks away) was over $1000. I tried ot explain that the change yoru flight section of theoir webiste was incorrect. She tried to tell me that this was because the web changes quickly - but their website had given me incorrect oinformation for 24 hours - and based n this I had wasted a lot of time of my own and colleagues. I just wanted to impress uopon her how problematic it was to hav eincorrect and unrelaible information on their website. She apologized and had me send her the link and a screenshot. but htere was noting more she could do. She showed me hiow to file a complaint with customer service - and the response I got never acknowledged the problem with their website and erroneosuly claimed that the change fee was $100 and that the differences must be becasue of minute to minute changes in the webfares... now 24 hours later the Trevelocity website for flight changes is still compeltely inaccurate. SO - they hav einaccurate information on their website, do not coimprehend the dificulties this represents, and are clueless that their own website is inaccurate and do not have any cuistmore service people who can ro will do anything about it. n this competative marketplace- look elsewhere.
