As I was trying to book a vacation…

As I was trying to book a vacation package for 2 adults 2 kids from LGA to CUN thru their website the price changed by 100 dollars more. I then agreed to proceed with the new amount and received an error message on the web. I decided to call a travel agent with Travelocity and have them help me out. Which has now became a nightmare because my original reservation was both ways with Spirit Airlines and the agent suggested for me to take the United Airlines flight from LGA to CUN with a 35 minute layover in IAH. He tried booking and the price change AGAIN. He attempted numerous times which ended up locking my Credit card. I was asked by him to contact my bank, conference them and my banker said everything was good to go. Then we tried again, 2 more times and now I have been over more than 4.5 hours on the phone with Travelocity Supervisor from Second Level Department named ( MARVIN) trying to get this fixed. I seen my bank account and besides having numerous transactions now I have 2 pending transactions from United Airlines totaling up 1,055.20 in my account that CAN NOT be reverted or voided, but they did void the Travelocity transactions right away. This is insane all I get from this agent is " I AM CURRENTLY ON HOLD JUST HOLD ON" ITS BEEN 1.5 HOURS SINCE I started talking to a SUPERVISOR and nothing has been fixed. I WOULD NEVERRRRRRR RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY PACKAGES BECAUSE NOW I AM PUTTING MY FAMILY VACATION IN JEOPARDY. I was just now told that a " MANAGER named ASHLEY will assist. Lets see what she tells me.

Same reviews as so many other bad…

Same reviews as so many other bad reviews for Travelocity. Booked a room that had a 5 Star rating in Travelocity, but the hotel was a dump! I called Travelocity, but they refused to help and to add insult to injury the hotel would not refund the money because it was book via Travelocity. I will never use Travelocity again!

Appalling customer service

Appaling customer service - agents want to help but language barriers make it impossible- waiting time is laughable - hours - and most agents need to put you on hold to get Supervisors who also have communication barriers. Price Match cannot be achieved.....Travelocity does not have system records of the prices they offer and you have to practically send a dissertation to request a $70 refund - which you WILL NOT receive.

Never ever again.. the government should investigate this company.

We booked a 7-day cruise to Alaska with Travelocity. My husband made reservations on the phone. He paid initial $500 and $172 of insurance as well. He got a message with details after that and found out that the cabin was of the wrong type. He called again, and they corrected that, but in the new invoice they didn't specify that $172 was insurance payment, just wrote that $672 were initially paid. It was our first cruise experience, and at that time, we didn't pay attention to this detail. Later on, my husband got sick and couldn't travel on the date we had planned. He had a note from the doctor. We contacted Travelocity and changed the cruise date for the later. However, they denied that we had insurance. Obviously, when the first mistake was corrected, the representative made another mistake by not entering our insurance payment in their system. Now I wonder if all this has been done on purpose. We tried to talk to them including the supervisors, but to no resolution. First, they denied the fact of insurance. Then they wrote that insurance was already used as changing dates would cost us much more than $550 that we paid. When I asked what expenditures did our insurance cover exactly, they simply did not respond. Later on they somehow removed our confirmation number from the system, so I couldn't even contact them as the automated menu required this number first. We decided to let it go as we were afraid that the whole trip could be jeopardized if they do something else. As long as Royal Caribbean sent us all the tickets, we decided not to touch Travelocity again. So, the conclusion is to never again use their services no matter how good their prices may seem. Having read other reviews with similar stories, we believe the government should investigate this company, to stop them from stealing our money.

NEVER use Travelocity. Negative stars if possible.

I would give Travelocity negative stars if I could. DO NOT use this site. Expedia is owned by the same company. My flight was changed and they put me on the he phone for 5 hours with no relief. Then when they canceled and promised a full refund the written confirmation was $1500 short of the full price. There went another 3 hours in attempts to fix that. NEVER use this company. I know I sure won’t.

Price more than trebled in price between comparison site and website!

Advertised the 3 adult return flights I wanted between London and Dalaman in Turkey for £172 per person, so total in dollars was $675.90 (£516) but when I clicked through to site the cost had risen to a total of $2034.90!!! I laughed out loud, checked the total price again to check I had read it correctly but I had. I went back to the comparison site to put details in again to see if I got the same result. I did so clicked on link again, and was given the same message! How can the price leap up by $1359 (£1036( in seconds then back again?! Disgusting as false advertising and a waste of my time. Tried to ring them to see if they could explain but could not get through as phone number only available to customers in USA or Canada so if you live anywhere else you have to email. Due to this one experience I would in future NEVER use this company to book anything ad's they clearly lie and don't provide a phone number for customer services so wouldn't trust them if I needed to contact them about my trip. Awful company!

Never do business with again!!!

I booked my trip with travelocity for my best friends wedding, which I was in. They contacted me to tell me they cancelled my flights and then offered me only one option that made me miss the wedding activities. They didn’t offer me anything to rectify the situation and made me hold for 2 hours. When they went to get back on the phone it conveniently hung up. I had to call back and sit on the phone for another 30 minutes or so.I will never do business with Travelocity or United Airlines again.

Do not use Travelocity.....We booked…

Do not use Travelocity.....We booked our hotel and when we got to the hotel is was NOT what we booked via Travelocity. The hotel has no other rooms of which we wanted, so we called Travelocity and they said we would be given a full refund. That did not happen and when we called back there was NO record of the call- even though we have a screenshot of the call made. We wait on hold for an hour when we call and still no resolution. We will never use Travelocity again. We will be disputing this with our credit card and not be paying them for anything.

DO NOT USE Travelocity

DO NOT USE Travelocity! You WILL be sorry! Hi I I had rented a car from Hertz recently through travelocity. I had paid USD 11 for Collision Damage Plan on the booking day and only needed to pay USD 67.50 when picking up the car. However, I was told by hertz that there is no record of USD 11 for Collision Damage Plan. I was forced to pay EUR 91.82 (can be proved by credit card statement) instead of USD 67.50 as stated in Hertz confirmation email at pick up day. There is no update on the case since I lodged a formal complaint to travelocity on 26 July 18. They kept replying Kindly wait for the response within 24 to 48 hours. Rest assured that we will keep you posted." each time I sent them a reminder email. "The whole process is quite frustrating. Deal at your own cost

Car rental

Rented a car with travelocity but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. We spent some time deciding what we wanted vs price etc and thought we'd made the booking, only to find out it was subject to a range of negotiations at the rental counter with Budget. We were also told the Travelguard insurance isn't valid unless you have a US drivers licence so ended up paying for Budget insurance as well. All in all a very stressful start to a trip - oh and be careful, the prices are all in USD, even though we were renting a car in Canada...

Don’t ever and never buy from Travelocity

Don’t ever and never buy from Travelocity, I bought to way ticket from STI2:38 am FLL5:00am- and FLL6:00am- EWR 8:50am so they sold me a flight that I was supposed to be in the airport 2 hours with anticipation to take the 6:00am flight because when I arrived here today they only have to one seat available when we are 2 passenger me and my son. So Spirit can’t do nothing until 8:54pm and whole freaking on this airport waiting for the next flight because travelocity supposed to know that before they be selling that offer. My luggage already and NJ and I’m here in Florida lost, call travelocity the person who take care of me didn’t even know what she was saying repeating things over and over again and telling me that can acomodate me to another flight but I have to pay for it I ain’t paying one more dollar. Spirit say that they don’t have any contract and any agreement with any agency, that this agency’s take the online time of the flights for each day and fix it in there way spirit don’t have control of that. Travelocity customer service is not good and just hang up on me.

Beware that when you sign up for their $99 membership fee you lose the $50 off coupon if you have to cancel/reschedule a booking. They got my money, so shame on me. I'll be travelling frequently for business in the coming year and will be using other travel sites instead. This morning I was spammed with over 15 emails with the cancellation confirmation which I had already received. Way to go in a fit of pique Travelocity.

I had to put 1 star just to type lol

I had to put 1 star just to type... lol today was so painful. I tried to cancel or get a credit or a refund for a flight, the person I called was so rude with travelocity which was new for me because I've been using them since 2002 with no issues. Then the check-in person said you are # 7 and 8, 5 other people are trying to wait for standby. I said well ma'am don't you think if 8 people missed the same flight that there is a problem? apparently, the way she heard it is not the way I said it. I've been at the airport since before 6 am it is now 1:02 and I still don't have a flight or credit or refund. I've been on hold for 1 hour 32mins and now I was told to stay on the line for a supervisor and it hung up. hmmm... good times. I can't believe this is the end of what I thought was a decent relationship.

Plans canceled due to natural disaster...

My destination plans were recently canceled due to natural disasters in California. The conditions are considered very hazardous due to multiple fires in California at this time. Travelocity was not accommodating at all. The other people in my party received credit for future travels with other airlines. Travelocity is the only agency that did nothing. I will not use them again.

This complaint is about Pomona Travel…

This complaint is about Pomona Travel Company in Pomona California. Travelocity actually saved they day when Pomona Travel could not. Ms. Farley booked airline tickets and rental car provisions for my family for the weeks of July 20th 2018 through August 4th 2018. In our dealings we specifically discussed that the rental car would be picked up in London England, and taken by ferry to the continent to tour all of Western Europe to include England, France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Luxembourg, and Austria. We also specifically discussed where the car could NOT be taken into such countries as Poland, Croatia, Czechoslovakia, etc. Ms. Farley was keenly aware of this way back in January of 2018 when we booked and paid for our travel; FinnAir for the flight, and Europcar for the vehicle. I spoke with Ms. Farley and her staff repeatedly about while my mother had booked us a time share apartment in St. Johann im Pongau south of Salzburg Austria for the first week, (whom she also goes to church with) we discussed on many occasions about the possibility of needing accommodations for the 2nd week, but decided to do this ourselves. None the less, having booked a vehicle for two weeks for all of Western Europe, having paid 140 GBP for the PURPOSE AND PERMISSION TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO WESTERN EUROPE, on my way back from Venice Italy to Austria, I was pulled over by traffic control officers and told I didn't have the highway tax sticker on the vehicle to drive in the country OF Austria. If I didn't pay the fine of 130 Euros, they would have confiscated the vehicle and left my family with two grade school kids standing on the side of the road., "I expect reimbursement of the 140 GBP and the 130 Euros ($327.42 based on today's exchange rate) returned to me in certified funds to my address of record. I have Receipts for fines, payment to travel agency, emails, telephone conversations with witnesses.

NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE WITH RENTAL

I booked a car rental through Travelocity and upon arriving to my destination I am told the collision coverage does not apply and I have to purchase a separate insurance. I paid for the collision insurance upfront through Travelocity and I'm having a hard time reaching anybody to get my refund! This was my first time using Travelocity and DEFINITELY THE LAST!!
