I booked a flight online with Traveloticy

I booked a flight online with Travelocity from Calgary to Pittsburgh through JFK on WestJet/Delta. This was fine. I later followed the instructions on my email itinerary to inquire about changing my flight. I followed their links and while the websit ewarned that Westjewt coudl charge up to $100 for a change fee, to my surprise - the travelocity website cstated that Westjet was only charging a $19.95 change fee and moreoevere that th enew itninerary was acrtually 30$ cheaper than the original one. BASed on that information, I set up several meetings and a hotel room based around the altered flgiths. During this 24 hor time period - the travelocity website for he changed fee - stayed abosolutely unchanged. When I went to actually make the change, th ewebiste woudl not accept the changes so I called Trevelocity. The first woman appeared not to udnerstand the problem at all. She insisted the change fee was $100 - while th ewebsite actually stated "up to $100). This was besides the point - I wanted to inquire about the flight changes. She claimed the flight I wanted was not available. Then she said to actually ifnd out what was available she had to ransfer me to a supervisor. The supervisor spoke better ENglish and understood the problem exactly. The flight change fee with WEstjet was in fact only $19.95. but the difference in flights (now opnly a few weeks away) was over $1000. I tried ot explain that the change yoru flight section of theoir webiste was incorrect. She tried to tell me that this was because the web changes quickly - but their website had given me incorrect oinformation for 24 hours - and based n this I had wasted a lot of time of my own and colleagues. I just wanted to impress uopon her how problematic it was to hav eincorrect and unrelaible information on their website. She apologized and had me send her the link and a screenshot. but htere was noting more she could do. She showed me hiow to file a complaint with customer service - and the response I got never acknowledged the problem with their website and erroneosuly claimed that the change fee was $100 and that the differences must be becasue of minute to minute changes in the webfares... now 24 hours later the Trevelocity website for flight changes is still compeltely inaccurate. SO - they hav einaccurate information on their website, do not coimprehend the dificulties this represents, and are clueless that their own website is inaccurate and do not have any cuistmore service people who can ro will do anything about it. n this competative marketplace- look elsewhere.
