Are you calculating the price correcty?

Hello, I am planning to book a car for my trip, I am so happy to see that Travelocity has the price lower than others. However, when I look at their calculation, it seems wrong. My trip is 4 day, their price is $64, therefore, the total before tax and fee should be 256. However, their calculation is 339.9. Where do you get this number? I tried to contact Travelocity but they keep saying that the price and availability change from time to time, but I told her that It is showing on the website right now. So disappointed about this Price details Pay now Car rental fee x 4 days $339.90 $63.73 per day Taxes and fees $101.68 Total $441.58 Pay now $441.58

never booking with travelocity again

never booking with travelocity again. i needed to change my location of my flights, i booked a roundtrip for me and a one way for my sister. i saw online i can change the locations for an additional fee of $15 but i had to call in. the wait time was an hour! by time i reached the first agent, the price had gone up to $48 to change the price and that was just for our departing flights. i explained that i still have a return flight and have to change that location as well. in the midst of me explaining that, she hangs up. so i went online and saw the flight change for $40. i had put in 2 call back requests so i got another call back pretty quickly. got another agent and he stated that now the location change is $65 and my return flight change would be a little over $140. in just a matter of an hour? then i stated to him that a later flight would work and he stated that one location change would be 40 and the other would be 65, for the same flight? i stated to him that not even 17 mins ago the previous agent said $48, prior to that it was $15. he stated that i should book and lock in the $65 and they will listen to the previous call and, after their investigation, if the previous agent quoted another price, they will refund me the difference. my return flight was still over $140 to change the location of. i asked to speak to a manager or supervisor at that point and he stated that one will call me back in a few hours. unacceptable! i then mentioned a refund and he stated that my tickets were non refundable and they can issue flight credit. i then told him i would wait for a supervisor. i waited maybe 30 mins and he hung up as well. mind you, with the second agent i provided a call back number, he did not call back. i went online and saw the location change for both me and my sister flight leaving was $40 and i found a later return flight for myself at no additional cost so i changed mine and wen to change my sisters and now her location change online is $65, for the same flight in a matter of 5 mins. i called travelocity back and have been on hold now for a hour and 20 mins. i reached out to them on facebook messenger and instagram, no response. at this point, i will NEVER book with travelocity again! ive been on hold for a hour and 25 mins, finally get someone on the phone, explain the issue and no response. this is beyond!

Travelocity and Cape Air Awful Customer Service

We booked a round trip flight to Puerto Rico for our daughter. Both flights involved several legs. On the trip down, the first leg was canceled due to weather. Because the next leg was leaving the next morning she was able to get to the next airport via bus and cab and still get to her destination. On the return the last flight in her set was canceled. She ended up booking her own flight to a near bye airport and then getting a bus, ferry and cab to her destination. We called Travelocity to request refunds. They spent about an hour on the phone repeatedly putting me on hold trying to contact the airline in question. They gave up and said they'd research and call back in five days. Never called but did send an email asking how I liked my service. Now called again several weeks later. Agent was very hard to understand and really had trouble figuring out what the specific flights, etc. were. Then she says I have to talk to Cape Air to see if they'll give a refund so back on hold. As I write this I'm coming up on an hour waiting. I asked if she can call me back once she talks to Cape Air but no can do. Really awful customer service. I don't understand why Travelocity can't require airlines to be responsive or why they can't work the issue and then call the customer back. I will never book a flight through Travelocity again. It just involves a middleman who slows things down. I would be far better off talking to the airline directly.

Worst traveling experience EVER!!

Worst traveling experience EVER!!! Never am I booking with Travelocity again. They ruined my vacation, I booked a round trip to Washington for March in December. We flew to Washington with Alaska and everything was great. However on our return I wasn’t able to check in following the Travelocity link. I decided to call the airline which was American Airlines. They informed me they had no flight scheduled for me and my family. They said they had cancelled the return flight in December a few days after I booked and turned my round trip into a one way from Texas to Washington. At this point I was at the airport with my husband, Mother and my three small children 5,3 and 6 months. Up since 6 am, we traveled 3 hours to catch this flight that apparently didn’t exist anymore. American Airlines told us that they had notified Travelocity in Dec. and they should have told me.Travelocity NEVER told us, I called and they verified they never sent the cancelled email and blamed it on a system glitch. They said sorry and gave me a $100 coupon for future bookings 🤦🏻‍♀️. Was left stranded with my kids in Washington. American Airlines put us on a flight to Austin Tx. Out of courtesy but we needed to go to San Antonio because our SUV was at the S.A airport. We had to get a taxi in the middle of the night in Austin, rent a room, then had a family member drive 5 hours in the middle of the night to pick up our suv in S.A and bring it to Austin because there was no car rentals available. All this stress could have been avoided if Travelocity would have informed me with time so I could have have arrangements ahead of time. I literally had chest pains from the anxiety of hearing my kids cry because they were tired and hungry.

I purchased a RT ticket mobile app from…

I purchased a RT ticket mobile app from Atl to Aus. Leaving Mar 30th 2:49p returning Apr 3 @ 3:10p pd w/cc. The return flight info comes to my email only no departure info. So the emails says call Spirit w/any issues. I call Spirit give them the conf# they tell me they don't have 2:49 departure on Mar 30th only a 1:54p with a 2 hr layover, so I thought I only pd for the return. So I pd for the 2 hr layover $118 + 35 to modify no refund for this flight. At 1:19am this morningTravelocity sends me an email that my flight for Mar 30th 2:49p to Aus has been confirmed & charged me now I have 3 plane tickets on my cc. I will never book with Travelocity again. They have caused me extra cost & time lost on this trip for non urgency in processing flight request. Horrible system.

Deceptive pricing - should be in local currency AUD

Deceptive pricing is not acceptable. I live in Australia, I'm searching in Australia for motels, and I expect the prices to be shown in AUD. On Travelocity there is NOTHING to indicate what currency the price is in, so I expected it to be our local currency AUD. But then you get the confirmation email which shows the AUD price as being much more because the website price was in USD. I'm not using a VPN so they know where I'm connecting from. There is nowhere on the website (that I could find) to select the currency. Not happy. Watch out everyone.

We purchased a car with you for our trip to LA. Our plane was delayed and when we arrived we waited an hour for the shuttle service to pick us up to retrieve our car from Fox rentals. We tried calling in the meantime but we couldn’t reach anyone due to their Covid hours. After waiting we found out they were closed. We Ubered to our hotel. Called Fox rentals in the morning, the lady at the call center said as long as we were there before noon it would be okay. I took an Uber back and they said they had no car available. When I called Travelocity the first representative was not helpful at all and could care less about my situation. The second person was much nicer but also told me she couldn’t get ahold of Fox rentals. My situation was escalated and the just got back to me and notified me that they would be giving me a one time refund. Oh, how kind of y’all. $120 in Uber rides, stress, time and a $400 more car rental later. No one should ever have to go through this while on vacation.

Travelocity lost a client

I've used Travelocity over the years, the last booking I did with them I changed my return flight and the agent from Travelocity only changed part of the trip, leaving me stranded to having to buy a new returned ticket (half of my trip) so I ended up spending an extra $400 plus dollars. Worse experience ever, I had purchase travel insurance which was completely worhtless. Worse experience ever, Travelocity has lost me as a client.

Incredibly poor service

I booked 4 flights with Azul Airlines through Travelocity.ca which I had to cancel due to Covid. Azul has given me a Travel Voucher for the full value of my flights. Travelocity simply needs to phone Azul on the Travel Agents phone line. Travelocity refuses to do this. I have spoken 5 times with Travelocity over 2 weeks. If I can phone Azul to verify the Travel voucher, why can't Travelocity and save me almost $800? A Travelocity Supervisor promised to call me back within 24 hours but did not call.

I would give a ZERO star score to…

I would give a ZERO star score to travelocity if it was an option. I needed to change a flight due to circumstances outside of my control - I asked nicely to change my flight or to get a flight credit, and travelocity said "no" to both!!!! I have been a loyal user of the site for many, many years . . . but not any more!!!! Loyalty means nothing to travelocity!!! So long!!!!

Crap service - SO DISAPPOINTED

Crap service. I bought 2 roundtrip tickets to AMS for me and my son but the flight was canceled due to Covid. The hotel refund was no problem and Delta gave me the travel credit. Travelocity claims I had to use it by the end of the year or lose $1200.00 in credit but Delta sent me an e-mail extending the credit use for another year, I book a roundtrip to TPA for $600.00 and Travelocity took the remaining $600.00 and cannot explain why?? I call customer service and get transferred around or just wait for hours listening to hold music for HOURS.

NEVER use Fox Rent A Car!!!

I will NEVER use Fox Rent A Car AGAIN!! It was a disaster from the beginning. When we picked the car up at the Denver airport, I told the guy I would be returning the car between 0330-0400 because we have a 0600 flight out. He even looked to see if he could cut a day of rate off, which was nice, but was not an option. NOT ONCE did he mention that we would not have a shuttle to the airport at that time. We arrived right at 0400. Another car is waiting as well. I called all options no answers from the phone number. Finally, I called the emergency roadside assistance. They informed me that they don't open until 0500; therefore, if I were to call a Lyft and leave the car, it would be abandonment by the end, four vehicles were waiting, and none of us were informed we would not have a shuttle. Needless to say, I will be filing a complaint with DOT.

Shoddy practices

Booked a round-trip for our children and grandchildren over the holidays. One name was listed incorrectly on the itinerary, Travelocity indicated two options to correct the issue; 1) cancel and re-book, or, 2) use their online name correction form. I chose the quicker option of canceling and re-booking using Travelocity's "cancel this trip" selection on the website. This was completed well within the 24hr time restriction for cancellations to receive a full refund. Instead of issuing a refund, they chose to issue a flight credit. When questioned, a representative indicated the cancellation was not within the time restriction policy. After numerous chat conversations and providing documentation that confirmed the cancellation date and time, Travelocity still refused to issue a refund or escalate my complaint to management personnel. I am totally disgusted with this company and their shoddy practices.

Booked us with BED BUGS - no refund

I don’t even want to give that 1 star, but I have no choice. We booked a package deal through TRAVELOCITY and THIS is not a hotel, it is a motel. A buggy motel at that. Forget the water stained drooping ceiling, the mold on the bathroom wall, the cheap plank flooring popping up and the hair (pubic hair included) on our pillow. The BED BUG eggs on the wall were the absolute deal breaker for me. Yes, I have pictures. It’s unfortunate that everyone that walks into these rooms do not have the experience with bed bugs, but we own a property management company and a maintenance company and we manage several college area housing, we are very familiar with bed bugs. We were in the room for less than 15 minutes and wheeled our luggage back out the door. They refused to refund our money and Travelocity refused to refund us as well. We will no longer book through Travelocity, and we certainly will not stay at another “Wyndom” Days Inn.
