***WARNING!!!**

Actually, they sent a replacement so ill put the blame on crappy shipping companies then. I take it back ***WARNING!!! First off, I'll say this. No matter how tempting it is to order from hazelton's, please do not. This company has been treating customer's like s**t and need to be boycott. Look at other reviews and the reasons, theyre similar so it just something they do. They say "shipping guaranteed 1 business day" if you select that option but believe me, its hogwash! This is not my first or 2nd experience with this and im stupid for doing it a 3rd time WITH THE SAME RESULT! **If you want to s**t hazelton's out for days, then be my guest*** Who the f*** wants to eat any of that food that's with a courier for more than 2 days!?! They are liars at hazelton's. They bait you with overnight delivery or 1 day delivery and BAM! its not and you end up regretting eating a 5 day old mushed cheesecake. Save yourself the pain.

I had cheese missing from my order and…

I had cheese missing from my order and the company after several phone calls and emails refused to even talk to me about , never mind giving me the order or partial refund. disgusting company seriously don't look a the reviews on there websites they delete all negative ones, and they have several companies under this name, its literally a numbers game with them, there are so many other decent companies. if you do your review research it doesn't take long to see how terrible they are.

READ THIS REVIEW: DO NOT ORDER FROM HAZELTON'S!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!! WORST ON-LINE EXPERIENCE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! (Why can't I give it ZERO STARS?? ) Hazelton's will not post these authentic reviews on their website!! They will only post positive reviews (probably fake ones) so no one knows the truth!! PLEASE READ: I ordered a custom basket for $170 dollars to support a family during the COVID Pandemic. What was received was beyond disappointing and there are too many issues to mention in this review! To make a very long and sad story short, the Hazelton's website "sells" gourmet and high quality, but they are nothing of the sort!! They overcharge, do not send what was ordered, do not take any responsibility for shipping or the condition of the basket upon arrival, AND they do not respond to customer complaints of missing product, opened packages, and broken or ruined items. After several emails (with photographic evidence) and phone attempts to talk to someone in person, the ONLY response I received from this company was that I should have selected next day shipping to prevent the fruit from perishing. That's it. Hazelton's took NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANYTHING and were not interested in the fact that the recipients of this "gift" received nothing but disappointment, stress, and a mess to clean up. This company is completely negligent and will be reported to the BBB. AVOID HAZELTON'S AT ALL COST AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBOURS!! It is atrocious they are still in business as clearly I am not the only customer to be totally ripped off (and ignored).

BEWARE!

I ordered a bassket on April 24. One week later no basket, and I learned it had not even shipped due to a "technical difficulty". Since then, one phone conversation, 3 emails, 1 voicemail and one month later I am still waiting for my refund of $167. These folks are not merely incompetent they are dishonest.

Even 1 star is too much for this…

Even 1 star is too much for this company and I kick myself for not reading these reviews before I made the order! The gift basket for my daughter was orderded a week in advance and arrived 5 days too late... The coffee was changed to tea, the blue Stilton and the Brie cheese became cheap goatcheese and the 'gourmet' items such as candies and chocolate were not even added. So I paid like 50 dollars too much...Only the wine and the brownies were correct. No response to my mail either. Big scam!!

Beyond disappointment

My first time to order a cake for delivery and probably will be the last. No offense to other companies who would probably have a better service, but this company surely let me down. I ordered a red velvet cake and a Mother's Day Bliss Gift set. I ordered on time and believed their statement of "guaranteed" delivery date on time as per request. Well, items came 3 days later, 3 days AFTER Mother's Day. The cake was all messed up, damaged inside the box (I wish I can attach a photo here to show). It was very disappointing for my mom and sisters and an embarrassing feeling for me. Before it was delivered I emailed three times and called and never got a reply. Not even a sorry note or explanation after all the emails I sent. I thought their service was great considering their website looked very professional. BUT I WILL NEVER USE THEIR SERVICE AGAIN, such a horrible experience for Mother's Day!

Fraudulent company

Fraudulent company! I ordered a Mother’s Day cake and wine from them 5/8/2020 and a week later it has still not been delivered. Called them and have gotten no response. Filing a complaint with the BBB.

Do not use this company

In May 2020, I bought a cheese hamper for my Aunt's 80th Birthday and have been dreadfully disappointed. Items were missing from the hamper and was not delivered on the day I had requested. I have tried to contact Hazeltons’ but have had no response to my complaint. As this was a special birthday, I spent more than I normally would for cheese and crackers.... the crackers did not even arrive. The balloon I requested wasn't even there. I did look at the reviews before I purchased and they seemed genuine enough (I am a UK customer), however like other reviews below this is really how this Company behaves. I have given one star as this was the minimum I could give. Don’t spend your hard-earned money here, look for another company

Do not use this company!

I had a similar experience to everyone else on here. I ordered a basket for my Mom’s Birthday and Mother’s Day and the order she got was completely wrong and with a gift card for someone in another province. I have tried contacting them for the last week with no reply and their online service doesn’t work either, they leave you in a queue for hours with no response. This company is a complete farce and scam. I wish I had read the reviews on here before using them. Please please do not use them!!!!

Hazelton’s is a scam!

Update: Zero response from Hazeltons. Credit card company is returning my money. Disappointed is an understatement! One week ago, our Mothers Day basket ($140) was mis-delivered (Addressed incorrectly by Hazeltons) to someone else in a different city. And yes, Hazeltons was provided with the correct name and address. We only know this because the person Who received it, called us to let us know. They said the correct info was inside the box when they opened it. We immediately contacted Hazleton's by email (because no one answers the phone) and received an auto-reply stating that they had opened a ticket and would get back to us. We still have not heard one thing. This was a Mother’s Day gift ordered a week in advance for our Mom in Ontario. It is heartbreaking, especially in these trying times, that our Mom received nothing from us due to the complete scam that this company appears to be. Today, when I replied to Hazleton's initial auto-reply email, to let them know I have initiated a credit card dispute, five minutes later, I received a fraudulent email asking me to update my credit card Info. Coincidence? I think not! Stay away from this company!

I ordered a custom birthday basket as I wanted to include all items that the birthday recipient loved. I will never order again, and recommend against it to save you the headache. My main issues were that certain products I ordered were missing from the basket, and one of the items in the basket were swapped for another item that I did not order (ordered coffee, but they included tea) without notifying me. This was especially irritating as this was a present delivered directly to the recipient and I had to bother them to take photos of everything so that I could check whether everything I ordered was included. I also included a wooden box (with a lid) in my order as I thought it was necessary for the items to be placed into, however, instead of putting the items in the box, everything was glued to the lid of the box, where the person had to ruin the box just to remove the items. I have tried bringing up these matters to a Hazelton's customer representative, and was told that I would get a response within 24 hours, but have waited a week and instead of a response, got a request to leave a review. So here is my review. Overall, I am beyond disappointed with my experience, and would not recommend ordering anything from this site, as it will cause you bigger headache than you need.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. I ordered 2 orders, same address. I understand the delay of delivery given this glob epidemic but what I don't tolerate complete incompentance. I did not receive 2 orders of cupcakes that I paid extra for. Order was combined and because the order included 1 card, it came across as a gift for 1 person. So, missing cupcakes as well as mothers day card for 1 of the people gift was for. No one answers the phone and you cannot get an actual live person on the phone and emails are impersonal and they take no responsibility nor will apologize for making a mistake. I will NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND I WILL MAKE SURE I TELL EVERYONE THAT I KNOW WHAT A TERRIBLE PLACE THIS IS TO ORDER FROM

Wow total disaster of a company and no customer service

Wow, reading these reviews are the exact same, placed two sep orders, one for mother's day, got an email friday said was shipping when was supposed to be Sunday the 10th, got a non-delivery email sat and when emailed to get info and ticket, they said they could re-deliver for a fee. Explained it was supposed to be for sunday delivery and they said the would, today 4 day later and my mother has received nothing..I also had a delivery for the next day Monday the 11th for my wife for our anniversary, I didn't expect it to show up and sure enough it didn't. I have since emailed 6 times and waited for the online chat and nothing. The worst company and experience I have EVER had and assumed it was a scam!! Funny all of these are the same Update, after sending 220 emails because you can't call and nobody responds, the online chat is fake and only goes up in next in line, the planter box of plants ordered showed up 2 weeks later, they sent half dead plants, one pot was empty and just had dirt in it, the larger one had broken in half, not during delivery because it wasnt in the package, total disaster. Google cbc and Hazelton and there's story there about them sending rotten fruit or crap in a basket, Late.

Fraud

I had to call my visa to dispute a fraudulent transaction. Hazeltons charged me more of what they were supposed too. It went from 80$ to 130$ and I didn't even notice untill I called and email them many time to ask about my order that was a week late. After many calls and email with no reply from them. I got concern so I google them and found out that they did the same to others. I look at my bank account and they had taken more money that they were supposed to so I called my bank. Please be careful with this company.

Scamming Company

SAME HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I live in BC and ordered my Mom a custom package last week for Mother's Day. Got an email confirmation that it will be delivered on Sunday, It is Wednesday and she still hasn't received it! It has been almost a week since I made the order. I heard from Quinton yesterday via email and was sent a dismissive email. They just took my money and couldn't care less. I have made quite a bit of online orders (from the US and Canada) and received my items in a fair amount of time and if there would be a delay, they would let me know in advance. Please stay away and find another vendor! What a waste of money! They claim my Mom will receive it today, who knows what the package will look like - just wish I came across this before spending my money.

Completely fraudulent company

Completely fraudulent company. I live in the US and my mother in law is in Canada. My husband and I wanted to send her a nice basket since we won't be able to see her for a while. Im not familiar with most Canadian gift delivery services but went with Hazeltons based on the fact that they were one of the first company's that came up in my search, had a decent Google rating and the baskets shown on the website looked great. I selected a basket based on what I knew my mother in law would like and I saw brands I was already familiar with and knew would be good quality (Hammond's, Stonewall Kitchen..) Needless to say, every single item in the basket was different than what was pictured ! Completely different brands (no name generic wholesale garbage) and not only that but completely different flavor profiles. To add insult to injury we paid extra to add on more "gourmet" treats for her. I selected biscotti and strudel. She was sent a cheap grocery store tin of wafer cookies. The teapot included in the basket was a different color than advertised and it was missing an infuser basket. We spent $200 on complete garbage and now after they took our money, there is not a soul in sight to talk to. Their phone numbers keep ringing and then disconnect after an automated message encouraging you to send an email. You send an email and never get a response back. And their "live help" feature is a crock because you'll just sit there for hours until you realize there's no one there in the first place. They need to be shut down

If I could leave negative stars I…

If I could leave negative stars I would. I ordered my Mother's Day Basket on April 23rd for delivery on Mother's Day, and it showed up an entire day late with no explanation even though it was supposed to be guaranteed delivery by 8pm on the day of my choosing. Upon arrival, the basket was missing many items and the ones that were included, weren't the items I had selected. I chose that basket specifically because it came with products my mother loved. I've tried calling, emailing, using their "live chat" which doesn't work and had no response. I'm determined to let everyone know what terrible service they have. I am also trying to cancel a future order I had placed with them to no avail, or response from Hazelton's at all. I will most likely have to claim fraud as that's exactly what this big scam of a company is.

My Mother’s Day gifts, one wrong and the other not delivered yet!

What a terrible company. I wish I had read reviews before ordering. I ordered my Mother a basket and also my Grandmother. My Mother’s was delivered a day late and the order was completely wrong. Stuff she doesn’t even like. And my Grandmother's is not even delivered yet. I splurged for them this year and spent so much money. Customer service is a joke. They don’t answer the phone or emails. This is so upsetting.

SCAM!!!

SCAM!!!! Wish I had read the reviews before ordering a Mother Day gift. If you order with VISA and your order is not delivered, you may call VISA dispute/insurance centre. They WILL refund your money. Hopefully if enough of us do this this company will get shut down!! Make a claim on BBB also.
