Waste of time and money!

I ordered the custom beer basket. They have an option to choose what types of beer you would like. I received only 1 of my choices. When I called to complain they said they have a right to substitute. If it was the same type of beer I would have been ok with that. They made no effort to rectify the order. Why do they bother listing all the items to choose from if they just send random items? Will not be ordering from them again

Terrible if something goes wrong.

I've had a few great experiences, but recently it hasn't been good. Aside from it being impossible to get ahold of a rep via phone, they have been incredibly rude to deal with via email. They failed to deliver a gift I bought because it was out of stock, I couldn't call them back to make an alternative arrangement, they didn't answer my emails and then the next day refused to refund my order citing terms and conditions that didn't even apply to my situation. Their products are decent, but beware if you need customer service. Check out trusted pilot before ordering, plenty of similar experiences. I'm now going through my credit card company to get my money back. They have launched a claim with the company. I highly recommend this approach if you can't get ahold of the company.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! You will not get what you paid for. And if you question them, they will not send your refund but instead send you with their 10 page "SUBSITITION policy." Everything in my order was substituted. But not just that there were things missing, there was no replacement for a personalised embroidered blanket that I paid extra for. And the cake arrived smashed and inedible after arriving 14 days late and the birthday balloon was completely deflated. Please guys don't buy from this shop, you will end up not just wasting your money but will also have to clean up the mess that comes in the package.

Il cesto regalo oltre ad essere arrivato in ritardo rispetto alla data indicata conteneva biscotti e formaggio ormai andato a male!!! Solo dopo molte discussioni e dopo 20 giorni è stato inviato nuovamente il regalo con i prodotti giusti. Non ho parole! State alla larga da questa azienda di truffatori.

Very bad store.

Very bad store. Ordered a cake to be delivered and delivered it, but delivery took 5 days. The cake arrived shaken, no cake was recognizable. Contacted Jane from the company but no room for courtesy. Very bad store and that is the image we see. They should be ashamed of their own that this store still exists. Ask for a leniency allowance, but no understanding. Even for star it is too much.

Hazelton Canada should be shut down Disgracing CANADA.

I ordered a Luxurious Picnic Basket for two as a weeding gift I ordered on 1st May for delivery 21st May two days before wedding. It was only dispatched on the 20th May and took 12 days to get from Toronto to Vancouver so only got delivered on 2nd June. 12 Days late BUT worse than that it was not what I paid for and when I questioned they they refer to the T&C where it says they can SUBSTITUTE any item for something else. WHAT A JOKE and a Rip Off this company is giving Canada a BAD name. it should be closed down.

Worst customer service...actually non…

Worst customer service...actually non existent! Did not receive anything close to what I ordered and PAID for. And it came 4 days after the event it was intended for. Do not use this service ...mine was a US order but mother company here in Canada. Reported them to BBB USA so we'll see if I get results.

WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF?

WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF? GO AHEAD AND ORDER. POSSIBLY THE WORST GIFT BASKET COMPANY IN THE WORLD. THEY MAKE SURE THAT ALL THEIR CUSTOMERS ARE TRAPPED IN ORDERING THEIR BEAUTIFUL BASKET OF DISAPPOINTMENT. I ORDERED A $200 USD CUSTOM GIFT BASKET THAT INCLUDED A CAKE, SMORES, TRUFFLES, FRUITS, BALLOONS, CHAMPAGNE. Guess how it got delivered? Cake -- I requested it to be gluten free and I got no confirmation or response on that. Second, there wasn't any cake but a cranberry nut crumb loaf delivered On top of that, the loaf was squished and broken into pieces when it was delivered and the container was full of moisture. Flowers - Completely RUINED. All the Petals of the roses fell off because the champagne was on top of them Ballons - COMPLETELY DEFLATED. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? In my order - it said a bouquet of Ballons and they only delivered ONE, that too deflated. Water Crackers - completely squished container and all crackers into pieces. Bag of Fruit - Apples, oranges and Kiwi smelled so bad that as soon as the box was delivered, they had to be thrown away in garbage. Chocolate - 3 bars were delivered and none of the items that I customized were delivered like chocolate dipped strawberries, truffles and s'mores CAN YOU IMAGINE THE FEELING OF FRUSTRATION BY NOT ONLY HAVING TO DEAL WITH THIS BUT ALSO THE HUMILIATION ONE WOULD FEEL IF YOURE GETTING TO HEAR ALL THIS FROM THE BIRTHDAY GIRL HERSELF? THEYRE GOING TO ENJOY DEALING WITH MY BANK! PLEASE DONT ORDER FROM HERE!

!!!STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM! I should have read the reviews. I ordered on May 4th to have a Gift Basket Delivered for my Sisters Birthday on May 22nd. I received confirmation number via email and then silence. Leading closer to the 22nd, I tried numerous times to call this company, which has a telephone line that no one answers (tells you to email them) Emailed them over 5 times, no reply. FB messaged, no reply. Tried the online chat NUMEROUS times and no reply. Called my bank yesterday (June 2) to file a charge back with the company. Somehow today, by some miracle, NOW they send me a tracking number for the shipment. Will see if it arrives at all and in what condition it may be in. Not impressed. Her birthday has come and gone long ago and the moment has passed. I am so mad that I didnt due my homework and read all of the reviews on this company. Dont let their website fool you like it did for me.

Buy elsewhere, those are crooks

Ordered flowers and a basket of fresh fruit worth > $100 through their mobile website - as a birthday gift to a sibling. I was surprised to find out (a couple of days later) that the shipping method I selected takes a week, arriving way past the delivery date I selected (with fruits no longer that fresh, I would imagine) - there was no warning whatsoever about the delivery date. Needless to say, they are not ready to refund anything - I'm in a dispute with them right now. Buy elsewhere, looks like those guys are crooks.

Complete Waste Of Money!!!! I have never written a public review until today, and I’m only doing so because I am completely appalled at the service that was received from your company “Brocrates”. As it turns out, Hazeltons, is the parent company “BroCrates”. I understand the pandemic has made life and work excessively troublesome, but if you can’t fill your orders, shut your doors! I spent just under $400 on two custom crates for my brothers 60th and 50th birthdays - what was received (late) was a joke! 😡 I carefully chose specific items, and again I get the substitution policy due to covid etc.... But to receive nothing that I specifically ordered????? Beer was wrong, wine was wrong, spirits were wrong, dessert bars were wrong (and squished) chocolates were wrong, fruit was wrong, cheese was wrong, even so much as the packaging I chose was wrong?? How on earth could that have been messed up??? Your name is BroCrates - crate - Not treasure chest?!?! Do NOT waste your hard earned money on this money grabbing, non-existent customer service, careless, heartless, joke of a company!!

HORRID EXPERIENCE

I ordered a champagne picnic gift basket for 6 people. They forgot both the champagne and the picnic basket and blindly substituted items in the order with nonsensical things including expired chocolate. Then when I reached out to them which I tried by phone email social media and via their web portal, I received no response. Eventually someone responded telling me I wasn’t eligible for a refund because I agreed to substitutions which I guess in their eyes means not a single person got the total number of items in the box and got mismatched garbage and expired food instead and was missing the main two items. They said they were going to resend the champagne which was pointless at that time because I ordered everything for a happy hour which had passed and I had to scramble to get champagne delivered at the last second. If I could leave less than one star I would. I’m still waiting for someone to respond to me. I’m being completely ignored and I’ve never been this angry with any company before. The audacity to have a new customer order $700 worth of product from you and to be spat on entirely by their customer service is vile! Don’t order with these garbage humans

This company is a FRAUD - HAZELTON'S USA & CNANDA

This company is a FRAUD. I placed an order on 22 May 2020, to be delivered to Dubai. I ordered a wine gift hamper with chocolates and cheese for $147. My brother received a totally different order of Tea, coffee, and Granola. This is highly disappointing. I am trying to reach the customer service but no response on the website and email. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM I have claimed a dispute with my Bank. I hope it gets resolved.

Don't waste your money

Don't waste your money; ordered on may 6th and paid for shipping for may 8th (Mothers Day weekend). No ordered received, no ability to contact the company. Finally cancelled with my credit card and now 3 weeks later receive an email confirming my shipment, lol. So this shipment left Toronto (For BC) on Saturday (4 days ago), this should be entertaining to see what the fresh flowers, cake and cheese/dip items will look like when they arrive at least a week later. My takeaway: ALWAYS read reviews that are posted outside of the company's own site. They post only the highest ratings; while BBB has them rated an "F" which is as low as you can go. Do NOT send these guys your money or trust for deliveries to people you care about!

BEWARE -Hazelton's is a scam!

BEWARE - This company is a scam. Read the many consistent bad reviews and be skeptical of the sprinkled good reviews. Go to the BBB site and read the many same complaints. This company does not answer their telephone customer service line. Only pick-up is a message to send your question in an email (which nobody will respond except a computer auto response); or press a number to order (which I tried but nobody picks up). Also, no person will respond to the 24/7 "Chat" available on their website. Their auto response attempts to blame delays on COVID but clearly it is an excuse/ lie. After 8 days of attempting contact I was able to contact my credit card company and have the $137 charge reversed. Again, BEWARE and AVOID this scam company.

These lads are robbers

These lads are horrible. Ordered a Vegan Cake along with wine balloons, flowers and a few other things for my sister's birthday. The cake did not arrive so i have now paid for a Vegan chocolate cake, the main gift and it didn’t get delivered lol like seriously ? I’m pretty sure that’s illegal? Make my pay and take payment but not deliver the product and not have a customer service system ? Like no replies to my emails for over a week and been waiting for online chat for over an hour. Nice. As per all of the other reviews here the website is horrible, delivery takes ages and they do not even deliver the products you pay for. Great service lads, delighted to have spent so much money on a horrible Fraud company. Hope ye are getting paid well ya robbers.

A complete waste of money!

Our delivery (Champagne & Cheese Celebration) was delivered 10 days after we ordered. This was meant as a wedding gift basket. Not only did the delivery missed the wedding celebrations, the order wasn't complete - and the flowers, weathered sunflowers instead of 18 stems of Gerbera daisies. It's a shame that we can't upload the photos of the what the delivery looked like - This has been a complete sham and a waste of time! We are extremely disappointed.

The package arrived on the wrong day, the cake had collapsed, a wine glass was broken, 1 product was missing, They offered me a $5.00 in store credit against a next purchase. I assume they already knew I wasnt going to order again. I told them to keep the $5.00 they seem to need it more than I do
