TicketsOnSale Reviews

this is why i avoid third party sellers when i can, second burn in a row. no tickets, no refund, useless outsourced chat support, no investigation as promised... my mistake i guess

I was served an ad from ticketsonsale.com as I was entered a venue parking lot. I didn’t realize it was FOUR TIMES what the venues parking ticket price was going for. Also, the tickets didn’t come to me right away so the venue made me buy other tickets to park. I attempted to get a refund for my ticketsonsale tickets and they refused. I was told this company runs these scams and to report it.

I tried to purchase tickets for David Wrights NYMHOF number retirement game on Saturday July 19th. The tickets were very expensive but my daughter really wanted to go so I spent the money. The second I submitted the CC info my card was charged but the screen showed my sale wasn’t complete and had a timer counting down for 10min. I also was shocked to find that the game they were charging the same price for was not the day I was looking to go. I immediately called customer service and was on hold for 6min. Had just a min or so to cancel the transaction according to the timer but instead the service rep said all sales were final. They refused to listen to me even though it was for different date, time, should have been a much lower price and that the timer screen showed my tickets order wasn’t placed yet. Needless to say I filed a dispute with Tickets on sale, and my CC company. I never even got my ticket to my MLB app. Or any notification for it from the app. Now today July 26 I get notified that TOS could not verify with the seller my issue so they closed the case. I will take this to the limit and let you know of any updates.

I couldn’t get my tickets downloaded to my wallet, one ticket disappeared. The tickets were double priced, customer service is terrible.never again and still don’t have my tickets.

Horrible. Website showed .2mile to Comerica Park for parking. Booked it. Actual address is 2 miles. Nothing done to make this right. Now have to book and pay another location. Do not recommend at all.

I had a very disappointing experience with this site. I purchased tickets for The Weeknd’s concert five months in advance, but was shocked to find out I paid five times more than the official price on Ticketmaster. What’s worse — this site has no real customer support. When I tried to email them, I received an auto-response saying they couldn’t receive emails. It felt like a completely fake setup, but sadly, the payment went through and I received the overpriced tickets. I tried multiple times to reach out to clarify or even understand the charges, but there was no way to get in touch. This site is not trustworthy and I would strongly advise others to avoid buying anything from them. Go through official platforms like Ticketmaster whenever possible.

Do not buy tickets from this place. They essentially stole $70 from me. I received a confirmation of payment but no subsequent ticket. The parking ticket was never redeemed (which they can see) They are refusing to refund me since their system shows that it was sent. Crazy that these big companies have no problem stealing from their clients.

The company buys tickets cheap and resells to you at an exorbitant rate. Then they charge a fee on top of that. They will not refund. Because it is a rip off.

They come up on Google searches for the artist and venue, acting as though they’re the original seller or venue selling the tickets when all they are is a resale site that jacks up the price of tickets to events by supporting scalpers.

Do not use Tickets on sale! I paid $300 for 3 tickets to an Allison Krauss concert. I chose seats in the amphitheater and paid for the seats. When the tickets arrived in my email they were general admission tickets and all GA tickets were in the grass and priced through the legitimate website for $25. They refused to refund me the difference and claimed they are legit. Selling 3rd party tickets at 4 times the price and not getting the tickets you chose is not legitimate and unethical. Be careful and check the website before you buy. This company is a scam. Don’t be fooled like me.

Worst online experience ever. If you want overpriced tickets and and bad customer service! This is the place for you.

If I could give this company a zero I would. Avoid at all cost. Purchased tickets for 900 dollars and they sent the updated date on the event but the wrong time! Drove 2 hours to get there and we missed the event. I called them the same day and was told I’d get an email and never did. Called again and asked to speak to a supervisor of which she checked. she came back to the phone saying she was getting someone on the phone to find out there isn’t a supervisor and that she would send an email to one of which she said they didn’t have one. They are full of lies and admitted they were wrong but then said for me to reach out to the insurance for a refund!!! Also said they wouldn’t give me a refund. Never answer any of my questions. Horrible customer service.

WARNING, DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!!! I was sold fraudulent tickets and they would not refund my money. I even had head office personnel from the ballpark ticket office that would confirm that the tickets were fraudulent. I spent hours trying to get my funds back to no avail. I would suggest you tell all your friends to not use this site. Look at other reviews on multiple sites, the reviews are 1 star. Use a reputable ticket reseller. BEWARE

TicketsOnSale is an absolute fraud. I bought tickets for an event that was then rescheduled, with ticket costs totaling $1,200. I could not attend the rescheduled date which they just assigned me to. They did not ask permission for me to accept the new event date. They then told me that I have to resell my own tickets and they have no responsibility in assisting me. They refused to offer a refund. STAY away from this company!!

This company is not customer friendly. Buyer Beware. They will not fix mistakes, run you in circles and scam as much as possible. Wish I read reviews before trying them. I learned the hard way. Terrible company. Use other options whenever possible.

This is a hijack site that redirects you to a third party seller. They prey on the sense of urgency created by rushed buyers trying to get good seats before they run out. The buyer doesn't see any reasonably priced tickets and thinks they've sold out in the rush. I thought I was buying tickets to a Wu Tang concert in Dallas from Ticketmaster. Found out I'd been charged $3600 for 8 tickets at 9:37 AM CST. The tickets for the concert didn't actually go on sale until 10 AM CST. They sent me something they claim to be tickets. If they were real, they'd be worth $700-$1500.

I bought tickets for a spring training game. I did not get the tickets until 20 minutes after the game started. I had already repurchased tickets at the box office. I sent the company an email and they insisted tickets were sent and that disputing with credit card company wouldn’t end as I would like. I will never use again.

Ticket reseller, not a legitimate ticket sales website. Does not include fees or fee summary before purchase. No price review screen before purchase confirmation. Complete scam. Avoid at all costs.

A huge scam. I thought I was on the venue website. It looked exactly like the venue website. I paid 4 times the price. I did not know about this until I received my tickets with someone else name on the tickets.
