This helps so much more than back pain!

I didn't have back pain but I have Diastasis Recti. I took this course to help avoid surgery and although I don't know if it fixed everything perfectly, I am so much more functional. My core is functioning how it should now and I had no idea how bad it was before I learned how breath, walk, and stand correctly again. It's been at least 8 years since I could do those things correctly. This program has been truly life changing and I feel like everyone should do it! It's affected every part of my life for the better.

A Superb Program for Anyone with Back Pain

My first introduction to the Core Balance Training program was through an advertisement on my Facebook feed. I must admit I rarely, if ever, click on those ads, much less purchase anything through them, but this one caught my eye. I have spent my entire adult life participating in sports that has injured or strained my back. But my back pain could always be quickly alleviated by a chiropractic adjustment. My Chiro told me that my pelvis and sacrum would rotate forward, putting pressure on the sciatic nerve which caused the tingling & pain I would experience. No one EVER explained to me WHY my pelvis/sacrum would rotate nor what I could do to stop it. But, the straw that broke the camels back came on suddenly just this past Sept 30th. My latest sports endeavor was pickleball which I had started playing in the spring of 2023 at the spry young age of 73! By September, I was obsessed with it and was playing 3 times a week for several hours at a time. So of course, I assumed that all the muscle tightness and soreness I felt was just another result of my advancing age. And, since I did minimal stretching or other exercises, my body finally said “Nope, you’re done”. On the morning of 9/30, I awoke with absolutely the most excruciating sciatic pain down my right leg that I had ever experienced. I could not stand nor walk. The only time I was not in debilitating pain was lying in a fetal position in bed, or sitting in a chair. Suffice to say I spent the next two weeks waiting on an appointment with an orthopedic doc who did nothing more than give me prednisone, pain killers and muscle relaxers, and set me up for an MRI and physical therapy. In my desperation to find relief while waiting for the orthopedic appointment, I stumbled upon the Core Balance Training program on my Facebook feed. I watched the introductory video, and the lightbulb suddenly came on as to why my pelvis/sacrum would constantly tilt forward. My core was weak, my muscles were simply out of balance, and I had done nothing over the years to try to reestablish that equilibrium. Needless to say I was skeptical about this program since Facebook is rife with scams but it all made perfect sense on Dr. Ryan’s videos. So, I finally decided to take a chance and give the program a try. Each lesson was clear and concise and enabled you to progress at your own level and ability. The support from the CBT team has been extraordinary and their responses to questions are extremely thorough, encouraging and timely. Likewise, the entire CBT community is supportive and compassionate. Now, a mere two months later, I cannot begin to tell you the incredible amount of improvement I have seen. In the first weeks of the program I could barely lift my pelvis off the floor when attempting the early exercises. I can now easily hold a 5-minute bridge as well as some of the more advanced progressions of the bridge. My core strength has improved dramatically. There were exercises introduced, where I thought “I could never do that”. And now I’m amazed at what I have been able to accomplish. My physical therapist has been impressed by my progress as well. He has even suggested that I slowly return to Pickleball after Christmas. All in all, this has been quite the journey for me. I have gained a wealth of knowledge about how my body works as well as the root cause of my lifetime of anterior pelvic tilt. CBT has taught me a great deal about the importance of keeping my body in balance. It has provided me with the tools to improve my core strength and to correct my muscle imbalances at my own pace. This program has given me back my life. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Ryan‘s CBT to anyone, regardless of your back issues. As of this date 12/17/23, I am beginning the last phase of the CBT program – – the return to active life. I look forward to learning and applying the lessons that will be presented in the last modules. If you’re at all hesitant about beginning CBT, I urge you to cast that hesitancy to the wind. This is a life-changing program. I will be eternally grateful to the CBT team for their support, compassion and encouragement throughout my journey back to a pain free & active lifestyle.

Great course!

I loved the course and Ryan is very relatable however my only criticism is that once you’ve paid for the course can’t go back and review some of the exercises that were the most helpful to me. Other courses I’ve taken once you Purchase the course you can go back and review what was most helpful to you and also find things that you missed

I love this program

I love this program! It’s well designed to help me follow the lessons everyday, which made it easier for me to commit to the exercise consistently at my own pace. I also learned a lot from their weekly live lessons & Q&A. I feel so much more in control of my back pain, both physically and mentally. So glad I found this program!

Highly recommend

Highly recommend. This program changed and reframed my entire belief about where and how low back pain comes about -- and how to get rid of it. The programs starts at the beginning and guides you one step at a time to becoming pain free. It is NOT an ATM/Microwave approach. It is holistic, and legit ... a "crock pot" approach ... so, when the results come, and they WILL come, they stay for good. I am a HUGE fan of Dr. Peebles and Core Balance Training. It legit changed my life.

Life Changing

I can’t recommend this program enough. When I started, I was in severe pain (10/10), I was frustrated, and felt hopeless. I had tried a chiropractor, stretching, massages, and every instagram product ad under the sun. Nothing worked. I had thrown my back out 6 times in 6 months. I had an MRI that was inconclusive. It turns out, the biggest problem was my core. I was skeptical about CBT after the first week (as it wasn’t very intensive- and I was under the false belief I had to stretch my way out of pain). But as I went through the course, I learned to rethink the way I move and reconnect with my core the way we all did as infants. This is a life changing course. I’m now able to live my life, be active, go to the gym, sit for longer periods of time, and more. This isn’t a paid advertisement, i genuinely want people who were experiencing the same hopelessness as me to try this course.

CBT is a life changing experience

Me before CBT: Lower back pain, could not bend forward to back without feeling pain in my spine, could no longer sleep on my back because when I did something pushed out from my spine and made sleeping on my back painful and uncomfortable. I did not have an understanding of how to treat my body to avoid putting strain on my back. Me post CBT: No more lower back pain, can bend forward and back without pain, can sleep on my back again (yay!). I have also learned so much about integrating healthy habits into my life. I now take a 1 hour walk every morning, and I take active measures to connect with my core and breath better. I am creating a maintenance plan from the list of exercises in this program so I continue to feel good. CBT has been a life changing experience, and I brag about it any chance I get.

Highly recommend this program

Highly recommend this program, it is life changing as long as you commit to put in your daily effort. Dr. Ryan’s taught me fundamental concepts in such a meaningful way that no one ever did. This program is worth every penny and then some. I tried personal PT before and they helped me get out of the hole.. but I never really did grasp these key concepts in depth as I do now after completing this program. I’ve dealt with L4/L5 & L5/S1 herniated discs for 14 years now. My discs are the same, but my core strength and body awareness is way different. I couldn’t bend to tie my shoes and was afraid of doing almost any physical work. I’m now pain free and can even lift 50 to 80 lbs without any flare ups! (Staying Connected, strong and aware)

Just Do It!!!

Just Do it! All you have to lose is back pain or si joint pain and bad posture! This program was an answer to prayer after almost a year of sciatica and terrible pain. This was a life changer! You can get back to living a life you love! I praise God for this program and monthly it is less than the price of a massage.went from agony back to running in 12 weeks. I’m 64.

Excellent program

Excellent program! If your looking to be pain free from low back pain or SI Joint pain this is the program for you. Dr. Ryan teaches how to use your core as your center of power while having focused breathing. Incredibly happy to be on a path of healthy movement from Core Balance Training.

Great for posture correction

The program is well suited for correcting your posture, especially problems with anterior pelvic tilt. With correct posture you will be able to improve your condition faster and prevent further injuries. It will also give useful advice on dealing with pain during everyday activities.

Real, successful therapy

The fact that Dr Ryan has a history of his own back issues made his instruction much more useful. His knowledge of isolation of muscle groups to strengthen the core as necessary, as opposed to just trying to strengthen groups in general helped me to get out of a vicious, decades long cycle of back pain. His explanation of the exercises and the musculoskeletal diagrams helped me to understand the importance of the specific exercises and allowed me to grasp the concepts more easily. Also the common sense factor of listening to one's body and backing off when I was experiencing a setback in my progress was useful. This is only taught from experience. The only critique I have is for a better audio recording. There were multiple times when it was difficult to hear the instructions.

Core Balance Training has given me hope!

Core Balance Training has given me hope that I can get out of pain for good. I completed the program but still have work to keep doing, however, I have felt a significant decrease in my back pain from this program. And, now I feel I have the tools and body awareness I need to keep improving. I can do physical activities now without fear that used to give me pain for a while. Only being 27, I was scared I was going to live with back pain for the rest of my life - now I know that's not the case! Plus, the body awareness I learned for my core has translated to many other areas of my life, too. This program definitely has a different focus than others, and it can be difficult at first to look at it more as movement retraining rather than exercise, but I know the effects will be life-long. Also, the support from staff and other students gave me the strength and encouragement to keep going on the days I wanted to give up. Thank you, CBT, for changing my life! Some of the best money I ever spent on myself.

The first thing von many that finally help me.

Already after one week, I felt less pain. It was still the Try-Week. So I stay. It is a great Programm, well organized and helpful everywhere you need. I Like this a lot. To feel a Change does not need hours a week of hard Training, but small Sessions every day. The best thing I find was breathing. This alone Help already, and we breath all the time, so it is a great opportunity to use it. Thanks a lot ❤️

This program really works!

This program really works! I've had chronic low back pain for over 30 years. After 3 days on this program I had a significant reduction in pain and now after completing the program I rarely have back pain. Great value as I have spent many thousands of dollars trying so many things that barely helped if at all. Thank you Dr. Peebles for putting this program together. I highly recommend this program!

The program is wonderful

The program is wonderful; the structure is very helpful and easy to follow. My back pain has subsided substantially in just 11 weeks. More importantly I recognize the movements that are “dangerous” and am starting to know how to avoid them, what positions to put my body in, and how to engage in daily movements. I am excited about my physical future and this program is the primary reason. I went from a life of constant fear that my back might give out at anytime to an understanding that my back health belongs to me.
