Real, successful therapy
The fact that Dr Ryan has a history of his own back issues made his instruction much more useful. His knowledge of isolation of muscle groups to strengthen the core as necessary, as opposed to just trying to strengthen groups in general helped me to get out of a vicious, decades long cycle of back pain. His explanation of the exercises and the musculoskeletal diagrams helped me to understand the importance of the specific exercises and allowed me to grasp the concepts more easily. Also the common sense factor of listening to one's body and backing off when I was experiencing a setback in my progress was useful. This is only taught from experience. The only critique I have is for a better audio recording. There were multiple times when it was difficult to hear the instructions.
