I won't use them anymore - Bad customer service

In the past, I used Travelocity exclusively. Now, 2021, it takes literally hours to reach support. I asked to get a refund for a flight that was canceled by the airlines, the airline agreed to the refund, but Travelocity asked me to call back over and over in order to process it. I spent hours on the phone. They are now owned by Expedia, a site I was never partial to. Perhaps that is the problem.

SE HAN QUEDADO MI DINERO

Hola, me llamo Dario , reserve un coche en Costa Rica del 26 de Diciembre del 2020 al 5 de Enero del 2021, me cancelaron el vuelo por la pandemia y enviamos correo para cancelar la reserva , la reserva la hicimos mediante Travelocity , hemos enviado mas de 15 correos y ni siquiera nos han contetado a ninguno , no nos han devuelto el dinero , se lo han quedado ellos , asi que me veo obligado a poner una reseña fatal a esta web. y como soy un gran viajero hablare a todo mi entorno del fraude que es esta compañia porque ni siquiera tienen el detalle de contestar NINGUN CORREO

Unhappy customer

I have been trying to reach Travelocity customer service for days in regards to a trip I booked through them. I have not yet reached a live person. I will not be using them again.

My wife called to use our credit for…

My wife called to use our credit for airfares that we did not use when we booked last year. The voice recording stated that the wait time was going to be more than 15 minutes. We waited for 2:30 hours and still getting the same music. We thought that maybe we got stuck in some glitches so we called again using another phone. We received the same time warning. There was no glitches, the wait on the second call was over 1:30 hours before we got a live person to talk to on the first line. This is most likely the last time we will ever use their service. The 3:30+ hour wait is definitely worth whatever money we saved booking from them

They only sell. no support

They only sell. Can't provide support or service. If you want a change, refund or cancellation, the answer is always no, that is if you can get through. Support lines are always busy with extremely long hold times and the most god awful hold music. You can request a call back but it won't be before hours if at all.

Just awful

Just awful. They made a double charge on my debit card, my bank account went negative, and I am still waiting on customer service to pick up after 80 minutes of waiting. This was after the "Virtual Agent" hung up on my more than 7 times.

I was on a business trip working in the…

I was on a business trip working in the field. It became apparent we were going to have to work an additional day. So I tried to change my flight. Delta said I had to go through travelocity. So I tried calling because .... I was on hold for 2 hours. My phone ran out of battery. After a quick charge I called travelocity again to use their callback feature. Said "I wouldn't lose my place in line" also that it would be 40 minutes. After an hour I called again.... the system recognized i was awaiting a call. Said "20 minutes" Well! guess what.... repeated this senerio 3 more times never got a call back. Finally had to just buy another ticket from delta $360 bucks! Never use Travelocity

Don’t waste you time

I read multiple reviews with the same situation as me so that part is on me. But unless you have your strict itinerary and expect literally everything to go smoothly(which you can never anticipate) it is extremely hard to get in touch with Travelocity, in fact you can’t get in touch with them at all. I tried to call at least 3 times and you never get a live person, and they don’t call you back either (IF the dumb automated system doesn’t freeze before you can give a call back number) so unless you expect nothing to come up emergency wise on your trip do not go through Travelocity. Try calling the customer service number of a different place to ensure you can get in touch with a live person for emergencies or mistakes before booking.

By far the worst customer service

By far the worst customer service! After waiting on hold for 4 hours, 2 different days and still NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE!! TRAVELOCITY was more than happy to take my money for a car rental in June. I needed to change the dates due to family emergency. Now at this point and time I would like a full REFUND. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TRAVELOCITY OR USE THEM AGAIN!! Absolutely disappointing!

Do NOT book with this company

Do NOT book with this company, it's a scam! I've purchased a flights from them with the flight protection to find out that not only I'm not going to receive a refund ( $2700 ) but they are not going to issue a credit either! I can't fly because of the Coronavirus restrictions! This is after being on hold for 4 - 7 hours every day, using their messenger on FB and virtual assistant! They stole $2700, they are CRIMINALS!

Less Than 1 Star

Less Than 1 Star. $#!T Customer Service..! Booked flight to Hawaii, clearly using the correct dates, ticket processes using default dates and stated no refund or change even though I paid for Cancellation Insurance. Chat does not work. Held for 2 hours still no response.

Terrible support

Accidently booked a rental car in the wrong city. After clicking on “Manage Reservations” I was asked to sign on although I was already signed in. I signed on again and was taken to “Reservation details” where I could choose “Manage Reservations” again. UNABLE TO CANCEL! I tried chat but got nowhere as it keep taking me back to “Reservation details” where, guess what, I could “Manage Reservations” again. So I called the support number. Automation said the wait was over 15 minutes and I could be called back when agent was available. Great, I setup for call back. 6 ½ hours, yes “SIX AND ONE HALF HOURS” later I received a call back and when I answered all I heard was music. Later I discovered the cancelation process that did not work on a PC would work from the Travelocity app on a phone. How many stars should a 6 ½ wait for support receive?

My flight got cancelled due to covert…

My flight got cancelled due to covert testing for a layover in Germany so my flight was cancelled I have tried contacting Travelocity many times and all I get is I'm sorry we are looking into it but no one Seems to want to help me I think we need to start a big action lawsuit against this company because now that I am doing my homework I see a lot of people saying the same things as me I refuse to ever deal with this company again. Also I talked to the hotel and they said they have not been paid yet so I would have to talk to Travelocity but they were telling me that they cannot get in touch with the hotel I've received nothing but lies.

Cancel a car for trip you aren't taking

Trying to cancel a car rental that is two months the future. You can't talk to anyone you can't chat with anyone no one answers after hours of waiting. We are canceling our trip and won't need a car.

Company has gone to hell during COVID

Company has gone to hell during COVID. Wasn't great before, but now they are a complete scam. I had a paid ticket on Aero Mexico, purchased thru Travelocity - Aero Mexico canceled the flight - And Travelocity charged me $200 for canceling my booking for a flight that was canceled by the airline. A word of advise - BUY DIRECTLY FROM THE HOTEL, AIRLINE OR RENTAL CAR AGENCY ! TRAVELOCITY.COM IS A SCAM - 100% COMPLETE SCAM.

Do not book with Travelocity

Do not book with Travelocity! I purchased two flight tickets with Travelocity including cancellation protection ($638.00). When we missed our flights, I tried to call them back to cancel our flights. During my initial call, I was able to speak to a representative. When I explained my situation, he said, "You already lost your money"then he hung up. When I called back for three days, I have no answer at all. I filed a claim online however I have not received a confirmation or a response. This isn't okay at times like this especially during Covid 19, the agency gained our money without any services provided. We paid extra to ensure that we get our money back in case of emergency because things happened that are out of our control. This agency should be sued.

What a Joke

I was informed 4 days before our trip that a bunch of my connecting flights were cancelled. Travelocity now wanted me to fly home a day earlier to keep my same price. I could fly home the same day as originally planned but it would cost me almost double. I called them 3 times, each with over an hour of hold time. I got no help from any of the agents. They all told me the same LIE, that there were no other flights available. Even after giving them flight numbers from American Airlines website they wouldn't help. Luckily we live 3 miles from our airport. Went there, walked right up to the counter and were given all new flights within minutes. The American employees were wonderful. We all concluded that Travelocity was just trying to get more money.
