LEFT STRANDED OUT OF STATE WITH NO WHERE TO GO

I'm only giving this review 1 star because I can't give it ZERO!! I booked with travelocity (no prepayment needed/can pay at hotel) to stay at The Marlin Hotel from 5/22-5/27/2021 and received multiple confirmations. I even called otw to the airport to confirm we would be there past the 4pm check in time because our flight wouldnt get there until 8:32 pm. The girl I spoke to was given my name, she said it was fine, you're not considered a no show until midnight. We board our flight, get to the hotel and David says we have no room it was canceled. Mind you at first he couldn't find it at all. He looks through expedia and says "my card" was debited 2x and declined so the reservation was canceled. I told him I didnt get a text, email or anything from them or Travelocity. I even talked to a girl earlier who took my bame and said nothing of the sort before I boarded the olane which she knew I was doing. USAA didn't send a declined transaction alert to me either. Matrer of fact, travelocity literally still had me on their website as travel happening right now in the present AT THE MARLIN HOTEL. David said he was sold out, he had nowhere to put us, asked me to look on travelocity, kayak and some other travel site for best offers at ANOTHER hotel. Meanwhile I am in conplete tears of frustration at this point. Fast Foward to midnight we're still there and at this point we attempted the Moxy (also on South Beach), paid Travelocity $1722 for the days we were slighted at The Marlin, walk down the street and the girl says "MY MANAGER CANCELED YOUR RESERVATIONS BC WE WERE AT CAPACITY WHEN TRAVELOCITY ACCEPTED YOUR BOOKING. HE CALLED EXPEDIA TO TELL THEM TO CANCEL IT AND REFUND YOUR MONEY"...We were livid at this point. We go back to Marlin because that's where we are still showing to have a room (Travelocity now shows we have to bookings btw) and the new guy Greg begins to say "what do you want us to do....we can't do anything....that's not our fault and then said he just got in to work so he doesn't know". THAT IS THE RUDEST THING YOU CAN SAY TO A CUSTOMER WHEN THEY ARE STRANDED STATES FROM THEIR HOME AND SPENT THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY TO ENJOY YOUR ESTABLISHMENT!! We didn't make an error..Travelocity and the Marlin did!!! I am still LIVID AND I NEED ALL OF MY MONEY BACK (YES, I got the insurance) This was the worst experience in all my years of booking. Its my wife's 40th birthday on Tuesday, thank you for RUINING IT!!! SN: Gilbert at the restuarant was AMAZING & SO WAS HIS STAFF SERVING. GILBERT EVEN FOUND US AN AIR BNB. GREG IF THAT'S THE ONE ON THE OVERNIGHT SHIFT; HE NEEDS A LESSON IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. HE'S CLEARLY THERE FOR THE LADIES. MAYBE IF I WOULD'VE CAME IN THERE DRESSED LIKE I HADN'T BEEN TRAVELING ALL DAY HE WOULD'VE HAD A BETTER ATTITUDE. THE WHOLE THIS WAS SAD AND PATHETIC AND I DIDN'T GET 1 APOLOGY FROM HIM OR DAVID.

This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with!!! I and waiting for 2 refunds for over 5 months! They tell me I do not have any credits when clearly I do in an email. You cant reach a human, no one will help you: how are they in business? Never ever use this company to book anything! I will spend a little extra for piece of mind! I have been online and waiting on the phone for help going on 2 hours now! #travelocityworstcompanyever

I wish that anyone who would think…

I wish that anyone who would think about booking with Travelocity and Expedia would look at customer experienced that had bad experienced getting a refund, bad customer service/ different salespeople / Right hand does know what left hand doing( too many cooks in the kitchen) and customer left with frustration and too much time consumed for email back and fort with no solution and with no consideration. I suggest to book directly or use Costco which I have done for the first time and was very satisfied, at least I know I'm talking to someone that live here in US.

Hours on the phone

Hours on the phone, for nothing. All employees are located in Phillipines and are not direct employees. Care nothing about customers. Travelocity took 1500 dollars, flight got cancelled, Airline says it is Travelocity needs to refund, Travelocity says Airline needs to refund. 6 hours on the phone wasted. Will be filing small claims action just to bust their bills and flying down to TX to waste their time and visit my brother. What a filthy group.

Absolutely horrific experience

Absolutely horrific experience. They have sent me a booking confirmation and two days before the flight i found out that the ticket in not confirmed by any airline. After 4h on the phone they tell me a "manager" will call me back within 1h. Never happened. Had to buy another flight. DON'T USE THEM, absolutely shocking. They really don't give a sh..t about you.

Disaster.........Was given $540 credit from American and Travelocity said I could only have $380 in credit on a canceled flight. Six calls to customer service. No call backs and two hang ups. I have it in writing what I am owed and am trying to calm down enough for Small Claims Court. Strongly suggest contacting companies direct.

Worst Customer Service Ever

Booking is super easy. And if you don't have any problems, you're fine. However, if things get tough (such as with pandemic chaos), and flights get cancelled or rescheduled, you might find yourself alone with two kids at midnight in an airport on the other side of the country with NO help from Travelocity whatsoever. None. After hours on the phone, I ended up finding (and paying for) a hotel by myself. I have never encountered worse customer service. A year later, I have no responses to inquires for refunds other than "oh it must be the airline's" fault. (The airline of course hands it back to Travelocity...) I am still waiting on the refund for the leg of the flight we couldn't get on. I understand that the pandemic caused unprecedented chaos, but we went through a company like Travelocity for the help they supposedly could provide in case of problems. And were left stranded in Boston at midnight. After solely booking travel through Travelocity for over a decade, I am never going back. Why in the world wouldn't I just book directly with the airline if there is no help to get from this company when you need it? Absolutely subpar service.

Terrible experience with Travelocity

Terrible experience with Travelocity. I booked a 1 night hotel stay & even purchased travel protection. I knew I was purchasing a non-refundable trip. I got my confirmation via email. There was a mistake on the date. I’ll admit it was my fault for pressing wrong date on calendar but all I wanted to do was change the date. I spent almost 3 hours trying to get help with the issue. I called numerous numbers never getting a live person. I did the online chat...all responses were automated. The travel protection was a 3rd party & could not help resolve the issue only saying it’s a non-refundable trip. I wasn’t looking to cancel only change the date. The short & long is Travelocity has to have the worst Customer Service out there. Definitely will not be using them again.

Beware!!! Worst Customer Service Ever!!!

I cannot express in words how terrible Travelocity's customer service is! Beware, the prices might look good but if anything goes wrong on the trip you are going to wish that you went with another company. I have spent numerous times in excess of 3 hours trying to get help. In fact, several legs of my upcoming trip were cancelled without any notification to me and I am currently on hold for 5 1/2 hours trying to resolve!!!

Worst experience so far

Worst experience so far. Got a text message that my booked travel has been changed. I tried to login to my Travelocity account I see no notifications. I tried checking by itenary number it asked me to enter my email address, it can’t be found. I have been trying to talk to a live agent and I’m beginning to think that it is impossible. I was for two hours listening to music but no live agent. No estimates wait time? What kind of outdated technology they have over there. I will not be using Travelocity ever again. Luis Andrade

I am trying to speak to an agent to…

I am trying to speak to an agent to re-schedule a trip that was booked last year and cancelled due to Covid. I have call Travelocity every day for the last 3 weeks to re-schedule with an agent but due to high volume, ( 4 hour wait time) I am unable to speak to an agent. They return my calls every evening between 8-9 CST and since I work that schedule I am unable to talk to them. I am concerned that I will not get through to someone and my vacation is the first week of June

DON’T BOOK WITH ANY THIRD PARTY

I booked a hotel with booking protection (because of covid) for a weekend trip in March, however I injured myself so I called the hotel to reschedule the dates for April. The hotel said they couldn’t change the dates so I had to call Travelocity. Travelocity puts me on hold while they call the hotel to see if my new dates are available to rebook. Travelocity gets back on the line with me and says I’ve been rebooked for April with just a $5 difference. Awesome, I thanked them and hung up. April comes around and I’m at the hotel trying to check in. The hotel concierge says my dates still say March in their system. I’m tired, I just want to relax and unload my stuff then head out to dinner. But it took me an hour through chatting with Travelocity (because they never pick up their phone or call you back) before I could officially check in to the hotel. It seems Travelocity forgot to send my updated booking to the hotel, and had only ASKED the hotel about availability for my new dates. Travelocity kept denying any error on their end and right when they offered me only a $25 refund/credit, the person ends the chat before I can respond. ABSOLUTELY NEVER USING THEM EVET AGAIN.

Travelocity hangs up on you & tells you " NO customer service."I just searched customer service for…

I just searched customer service for Travelocity, called to book a rental, & Travelocity asked for 3 things: phone no, booking no, & something else. I do not have any of those. So your computer refused to connect me to a human-hung up on me. There are plenty of competitors who will take my call & my money, you are not 1 of them. My daughter recommended, & I called years ago. But YOU Have stopped providing customer service. You said, " NO," & I will never come back. Cardinal rule***," Say "NO," as few times a possible because some customers never come back. Former Manager at King Soopers for 15 years.
