Perfect signal on the back of beyond!

Perfect signal in a location notorious for a poor connection. Thank you! Xx

30Gb gone in 2 hours?????

I purchased a 60Gb bundle for 30 Day, £15. 2 hours later it was gone! How’s that even possible, I was only watching Sky Go?

I was with lycamobile for years, right…

I was with lycamobile for years, right back from when they were on O2’s network. When they changed to using EE’s network it was fantastic coverage and the speed doubled. They remain a fantastic network for the price today with a stable and super fast network. Unfortunately Lyca don’t discriminate when it comes to ripping you off when they can. I was on a 100 gig pay monthly contract for £13 a month but needed more data so shopped around and found an excellent deal 200g for £16 monthly contract at 1p mobile who also use EE. I cancelled my contract at the end of that month a rolling monthly contract. And £13 was taken 5 days later for that month. Next thing I am aware of is they are asking for another £16.74 for the following month despite having left them and passed my details onto a debt collection agency, how disgusting is that after all the time I was with them which must have been over 5 years. Luckily I had screen shots of direct debits dates and my PAC code termination date which I sent to the debt collection agency who challenged lycamobile on this and they backed down. You should be ashamed of yourself lycamobile trying to scam your loyal customers out of money they don’t owe you, you should be looking after me and in the future I might of come back to you for another 5 years at 60 x £13 = £780 How ironic that lycamobile chase you for money you don’t owe and they are in dispute with HMRC over a non payment of £50 million VAT and at one point were facing a company winding up order! No apology from them! I will now tell all of my friends about the way I have been treated by Lycamobile who will tell their friends the same. Hope the damage to your reputation from this review was worth it lyca!

I spoke to you that the order was a mistake and I did not use the chips and I asked to return them to you and my friend spoke with the company to cancel the order and it was not canceled.

ZERO stars. Terrible customer care.

Travelled with the UK. Roaming was configured on my mobile phone and i had a full signal whilst in the EU indicated by full bars and an "R" icon. Network connected to was called EDGE. Could not connect to the mobile internet despite the phone showing I had excellent connection status. Tried messaging the laughable support team. They didn't respond for 40mins and then closed the support ticket immediately🤬. The system is non-existent and the support team are incompetent and couldn't care less about the people who pay their wage. Ofcom should fine Lyca Mobile for failing in their duties. Lyca Mobile is absolutely appalling💩. ========================= ========================= I see that LEBARA✅ mobile have excellent customer service😀, will change to them at the first opportunity.

Extremely annoyed customer services

Extremely annoyed customer services. I bought new contract sims (3) for my family who recently moved to UK. Lycamobile delivered 2 sims which we are using and didn't delivered the third one. I did the direct debit from my account for all three sims. Unfortunately the company is now keep on deducting money from my account for all three sims. I have complaint multiple times from past 1 month but still they are deducting the charges. Sim is non activated and I didn't receive it as well. I requested them to cancel the sim but they never respond. Few days back i posted a negative review and their trustpilot enquery team requested to send an email to them. I emailed them all my details but they never responded till now. Trustpilot lyca mobile email address. They have given me mental stress and I highy not recommend them to anyone. Worst call center as it seems like they have call center in another country. Don't pick calls even holding for an hour and email them multiple times on their complaint and cs address but no use. Please someone advice me how i can take up this matter to highest authorities. Thank you.

Stay Away From Lyca Mobile

Stay Away From Lyca Mobile Lyca is by far the worst mobile provider in the UK, they rely heavily on good bundles and network coverage marketing, HOWEVER, if you have a problem (and you will at some point) it is an absolute nightmare to get it resolved. I signed up, got credit checked and waited for my SIM card,..THEY put my address in wrong and the SIM was sent back to them. Trying to speak to someone is a nightmare on hold and when you finally get through the direct it to a different department where you are on hold again! 😠 To rectify THEIR mistake you're then required to submit multiple Identity documents and proof of address despite the fact they already did a credit check with your name and address on sign up! 🤦‍♂️ Oh, and at this point I'm being charged for something i don't even have! By now you've had enough and just want to cancel the contract, this is where the real fun begins. Multiple emails to all their help & support address' completely ignored and unanswered, so you have no choice but to call them. When you finally get through to the department to cancel your contract they continue to ask multiple questions on why you want to leave and how can they fix it. I must of said around 20 times, very politely, "there's nothing you can do or say to make me continue with the contract, please cancel it right now, today, immediately". They continue to ask you the SAME retention questions over and over!! FFS! Then when you finally get them to cancel they start asking security questions, plan details, send you one time pass codes to read out to them and they simply change your Pay Monthly contract to a Pay as you Go set up! Honestly, i just want out, i don't want anything further from you, at all, ever! It should be illegal for companies to make it this difficult to cancel a contract. It took me over an hour to cancel my contract. Also their call centre is in Sri Lanker and it is extremely difficult to understand some of the call centre staff. I will never recommend this network to anyone.

I activated a “1 Month Unlimited Plus…

I activated a “1 Month Unlimited Plus (PAYM)” SIM on 12 June 2025. Within three days (15 June) — well inside the 14-day cooling-off window — I emailed Lycamobile to cancel and disable auto-renewal. They asked for extra details (supplied 17 June) and then… silence. Fast-forward to 5 July: an invoice for £37.65 lands for a second month I never authorised. The online portal still shows “auto-renew ON”. Multiple follow-up emails and a phone call later, I’ve had no written acknowledgement, no refund, and no confirmation that the contract is cancelled. Their agents promise callbacks that never happen and insist “the system is down”. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations a provider must stop charging and refund within 14 days of cancellation; Lyca ignored that. Ofcom’s rules require clear exit processes; again, ignored. I’m now preparing a charge-back and an ADR complaint because basic customer-service channels have failed. Lycamobile’s TrustScore of about 3/5 already flags “mixed” service —but my experience was firmly at the bottom end. Bottom line: If you value timely support, transparent billing and the right to cancel hassle-free, look elsewhere.
