I’m fed up with this company

I’m fed up with this company. I placed an order Dec 4 to be delivered locally by Dec 21. The status still says processing. This is ridiculous. Do not buy from them. I should try going through my Credit Card Company as they did not provide a service as promised. How is something to be delivered locally still outstanding 3 weeks later. Do not blame Covid on delivery or stock. This should be stated on items if they are not available. I will report them to BBB. Im sure the small local business would go out of their way for their customers.

the basket i ordered is nowhere in sight

I ordered a basket for my brother (I'm in California, he's in Mount Albert, Ontario Canada). I chose one of the offered delivery dates of Dec. 18th. Its now Dec. 31st and it still hasn't arrived. I have sent two emails requesting a refund....tried calling but they only have an auto-responder to answer phone calls. When I emailed and told them I was going to file a complaint with consumer affairs, they sent me an email saying my parcel had been sent. But when I checked it actually had not been sent; they just made up a label. The basket is nowhere in sight. I will file with Consumer Affairs in Ontario and see if I can get my money back. I did file with my credit card and ask that the money be refunded.

Buyer Beware

It has been over a week now and the delivery has not been delivered yet. Not just this, the delivery has been delayed and there has been no response from your staff regarding the expected delivery date and reasons for any delay. I am very distressed with the poor service offered by you. I have placed multiple calls and emails to highlight that my package has not reached its destination. very bad service

Dissatisfied

Dissatisfied, Disappointed, Disgraceful basket ordered Dec 11th, expecting their delivery guarantee before 25th. Eventually arrived DEC 30th with mismatching products from advertisement. Please do not waste your money on Hazelton.

The choice is between one star and 5. Because I would put 0. No customer service, and no delivery even one week later. I cannot comment on the product because it was never delivered. No way to call them, you can only email and they don't respond till days later with a COVID-19 excuse, no order tracking no follow-up no anwers. They just take your money. Stay away from this supplier.

Zero stars

Zero stars! Not only did the delivery happen a week later than requested but the contents of the package were someone else's order including their personal information. Attempts to talk to customer services were not answered. This organization needs to be shut down!!!!

DONT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY BEFORE READING THESE REVIEWS!!

Thought this would be a great way to get a birthday care package to my son for January 23rd in Kingston. Within 24hrs of placing order on December 18th I sent them an email regarding the contents. I received what appeared to be an auto reply saying they were very busy. I tried to be patient but had two other concerns come up. First one was that my son advised me that he doesnt drink alcohol anymorr (there would be a 26er of vodka in the basket) so I contacted Hazeltons again to see what options there were. Standard reply again regarding Christmas and New Years delivery times. I then found out my son would be staying in BC for next term due to COVID so now there would be no recipient to deliver to at Kingston. I stated if I didnt receive a call to discuss I would call my visa to dispute the charges. I then received an email quicker this time that they sent me the wrong email and couldnt accommodate any basket switches. Then I went online to find out more about this company and am horrified. Writing this review in hopes other prospective customers avoid this company and to connect with other unsatisfied customers

This company is a total scam

This company is a total scam! I ordered a Christmas gift basket for my in-laws for Christmas 2020. It has still not been delivered. I even upgraded the wine and chocolates for them bringing my total to over $200. The company has not responded to any of my phone calls or emails. There is literally no customer service.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY DO NOT DELIVER, THEY DO NOT ANSWER EMAILS OR PHONE MESSAGES. THEY DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE. I GIVE THEM TRIPLE MINUS - STAR REVIEW I was supposed to have 4 baskets delivered on Dec 23rd gifts from my brother in BC to his family here in Ontario. No phone call no message that they were to be delay or even delivered. Today is Dec 30th I have left messages and emailed 5-6 times no answer.

Absolute Worst Customer Service

My first time using Hazelton's and will be my last! They have now missed their delivery date by a week and absolutely no one is responding to emails or answering the phone. Their Basket Tracking system is brutal and gives no information; I would stay as far away from this Company as you can.

Same story

Same story, customer service is the worst. My gift basket has cookies that apparently according to the email were put in the basket for shipping on the 4th of December, I dare say they are stale by now. I have used this company many times before and have been very satisfied, but never again. I am wondering if they have new ownership. When I look at these reviews there are so many people who did not receive packages, and I know that most courier got packages delivered on time. I ordered stuff as late as December 18th that I received by the 24th. So I think this is the fault of Hazeltons and not the couriers as they will say in their emails.

Scam

Scam! They sent completely different and cheap items. They are fraudsters, i don’t know how they’ve lasted this long without a lawsuit! Expensive lesson learned.

Complete waste of time to even order anything.

I placed an order 2 weeks ago and paid $88.00 EXTRA for guaranteed delivery before Christmas. All they did was charge my credit card 2 weeks ago. They haven't done a single thing on my actual order - like making and shipping the basket. I've called and called them for the last 7 days. They do not answer phones. Then I leave messages but they don't return calls either. I finally gave up today, reversed the charges, and ordered a replacement basket from a different company. Don't even waste your time placing an order with Hazelton's, unless you just feel the need to loan them money off your credit card. EDIT: The events after my initial review are even more disturbing than the events above. So, I had reversed the charges for the Hazletons order, and purchased and received a basket from their competitor. All good with that one. However, when Hazletons got the notice that I had reversed the charges, they hurried up and shipped a replacement to me. But the replacement wasn’t even remotely close to what I originally ordered from them. My original order was to contain 2 sets of specialty beer, and 10 other types of items that included candies and pastries from Europe, specialty cheeses and biscuits from Europe, and a really nice carving board with a chrome knife with a nice serving tray, all in their largest elaborate basket that was almost 36 inches wide. I spent just over $250 for the basket, PLUS $88 additional for 2-day shipping. I ordered on December 20, to make sure I had it by December 24. Their “replacement” in reality consisted of a 12 inch Easter Basket, 1 small bag of Heath bars, and a small bag of something similar to Trisquits. It was $35 worth of materials at best, and arrived January 21. THEN they argued with my credit card company, saying they did ship, and I did receive, my basket, providing the shipping records for the hideous thing they sent a month late. Downgrading me from a $250 basket to a $35 basket, and downgrading me from $88 2-day shipping to free shipping via Turtle or Camel. And guess how much money they refunded me for all of their downgrades??? ZERO. ZILCH. NULL. So they received $358 total from me for a $35 product. Quite a profit margin. And they sent the $35 basket shipping records to my credit card company to prove they shipped something to me. SO I HAD TO PAY FOR IT ALL. NOT A SINGLE PERSON FROM HAZLETONS WOULD SPEAK ON, OR EVEN ANSWER THEIR PHONE. If you have extra money that you just need to flush down a toilet, then throw it out your car window while you’re driving instead of paying ANYTHING to Hazletons. At least if you throw it out your car window, then someone will pick it up and make it useful for something.

I would rather walk on broken glass

I would rather walk on sharp broken glass and rest my feet in salted lemon juice, than ever use them again. Ignored all emails and calls. Tried to deliver the hamper 7 days late, after it was needed. That food must have been rotten.

Hello to all the victims of the fraud of this company.

I live in Hungary and wanted to give a birthday present to my granddaughter who lives in Canada. I ordered a gift worth more than $ 350 on December 14. The gift was to be delivered on December 18. They wrote to me on December 20 that my bank card details were incorrect, but the payment was made on December 16. I demanded to return my money back as the order was not fulfilled. I received another reply on December 24, in which they informed me that unfortunately they could not cancel or make any further changes to my order, as the goods had already been prepared, packed and sent to their shipping point for shipment. But this is another lie, since tracking by the number of my order does not confirm this fact. I invite everyone to unite and file a claim against this fraudulent company together.

What the hell happened?

I have used Hazelton's successfully in the past but this time, it has been hell. I checked delivery schedules and followed their published advice in ordering to ensure delivery before Christmas. The tracking info (from Canpar) shows it in the Toronto Sorting Facility since Dec 22. I cannot get a hold of any customer service at either Hazelton's or Canpar for any explanation/reassurance.
