Ordered Dec 16...never delivered-no humans

Ordered on Dec 16, for delivery on Dec 22. It still hasn't been delivered. I can be very understanding, if there was some communication. But, I've tried several times each day to reach this company. All communication avenues are blocked...you can't reach a person - I've emailed, called, left messages, tried to 'chat', tweeted, send Facebook messenger messages. That is inexcusable. For all I know, they could have gone out-of-business, taken the money, and run. This is $120 USD basket being delivered in Canada.

Same experience as others here

Same experience as others here. Ordered a basket on Dec 5th for delivery on the 24th. Found out today it is shipped in Dec 29th (ie. Still not shipped). Left multiple VM and emails and did get a response the the basket was finally out. Losing hope that my elderly parents will ever receive anything and I will be out $200

I ordered two gift baskets on December…

I ordered two gift baskets on December 2nd to be delivered by December 24th and neither was delivered. The total cost was $400. The company has not responded to any of the emails or phone messages. No one answers the phone on their end. It is clearly a scam company. Don’t buy anything. You will be disappointed and you won’t get your money back

Would give them no stars if I could

Would give them no stars if I could. What a total rip off. Worst company ever. I order over $300 as gifts and what they received didn't come close to that value. No customer service spent three hours waiting to be connected on the online chat and gave up. Called the 800 line left messages with promise of an email return that didn't happen. Shame on this company!

Worst worst ever

I never read all the terrible reviews posted all over the internet about this bogus company and it’s services before placing the order. I have placed the order on the 16th of December when it said that the delivery is 2 business days, sometimes a bit longer based on the situations. I understand the Covid situation and the holidays, so I assumed this would still be able to be delivered by Christmas. The phone line asked me to leave my number for a call back due to a heavy call volume on the 21st(I never received a call till date). I emailed the customer service on the 21st, 22nd, 23rd and they responded on the 25th stating the shipment is out for delivery. Maybe because I kept sending emails, they created a shipment number and sent it to fedex. They never sent the actual package to fedex for delivery but the email response from this person named SAM says it is with fedex and they are blaming them for the delivery delays. Delivery delays are understandable if the package is actually with courier service. It has been 10 days since placing the order and till date they did not even send the shipment to the courier service. My order is not even a complex make to order. It’s a wine bottle, how complicated of an order that must be to take more than 10 days for manufacturing. This is a useless company, a fake website and a phony service. Whoever wrote the positive reviews on their website must be employees of the company. Don’t use this service. I am going to dispute the transaction and update my bank about this phony company.

Do not recommend!

Ordered a gift hamper for the 24th December and it has not arrived and they are not replying to any of my numerous emails. Will be pursuing a refund via my credit card company as I no longer have faith in delivery of goods or a refund via the company.

Looks like we all got duped

Looks like we all got duped. I ordered two baskets for delivery within the same day delivery area on Nov 23 to be delivered by Dec 24. I have sent several emails and left several voice mails with no response. The order was not fulfilled. Perhaps we should start a class action suit. I'm appalled, stressed and extremely disappointed.

Poor quality items in basket and not as advertised. If you like reasonable quality food or better, go to grocery store yourself, and put it together yourself. They also say free shipping over 100 dollars but we still got charged 15 dollars

Fake business

Fake business, Paid them for my gift, I never got delivered nor will they respond to my calls emails or texts. Beware they are a fake company that doesn’t exist and only takes your money. Their site looks really legit, but it’s a scam beware scam scam scam

Horrible service

They sent a damaged basket and included items that were noted on the order as allergens. I waited on hold for 2 hrs and then was hung up on. When I finally got through they opened a ticket but never actually responded to it. They've now turned off their customer service line asking you to 'leave a message's Avoid them! They will not deliver what you've ordered. They do not respect food allergies. And they do not care if your basket arrives destroyed

DO NOT USE THIS company. They take your money and do not deliver anywhere near when they promise. They make out like they are a local company and then the stuff comes from Quebec much later. THEY ARE COOKS!!!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. On 2nd December, after much consideration, I placed an order for delivery on 22nd December. It has not arrived and I have received nothing from this company by way of explanation or apology. They were certainly quick enough to take my money, though :-( . I know we are all going through a tough time, and that you guys in Canada have been in lockdown for longer than we have in the UK, but that is no excuse for treating customers like DIRT!!!!!

I would give 0 stars if it were an option!!!

I ordered lemon bars for a co-worker's retirement gift. It was a running joke on our team that I owed her lemon bars. But I was never notified that lemon bars wouldn't be delivered so I had no idea a meaningless gift of pumpkin bread had been delivered. She doesn't even like pumpkin bread!! Much less that the joke was completely lost which was the point of the gift. When I asked for customer service for help I had to send 2 emails before I got a response several days later at which time they told me they would do nothing to fix the issue. That they have the right to randomly swap out items with no notication and I just had to deal with it!! Basically they stole my $30 and I just have to take it!!!!

Never again, Hazeltons…

I ordered a special birthday package for my friend Dec 12th, a week before her special day Dec 18th, to ensure it arrived on time since we are all on lockdown and can’t celebrate as we would normally. I had my friend’s husband on lookout duty all day so that it wasnt left outside or taken away again. I was sent a ‘your package has shipped’ notice on Dec 17th, so felt optimistic. Bottom line is that the shipping notice referred only to the shipping label being created- nothing was given to the shipper til 19:20 pm on December 18, the day it was supposed to be delivered. Because that was a Friday, the package sat in the shipping warehouse (presumably) all weekend and did not appear until the afternoon of Dec 21. The delivery was also missing the additional flowers I ordered, and they have never turned up, despite the substantial extra amount I paid for them. Meantime I had been calling and emailing Hazeltons’ customer service and trying to use their live chat since early Friday - to which I have still not had any response, by the way. Very disappointed in the whole process and in the supposedly high ratings I carefully checked before ordering from them - but as my friend’s husband said, perhaps they bought the ratings? My message overall is extremely disappointed with the product, the cost, the missing flowers, the service and the lack of accountability or follow up. Never again, and nor will my friends and followers after I have passed along this experience. Very poor showing, Hazeltons

Do not buy from this company!

Ordered on Dec 17th for delivery Dec 21st. It is now the 24th with no sign of delivery. I called yesterday. No answer. Left a message. No callback. Will call VISA today to let them know and ask for a chargeback.

WORST COMPANY - HAZELTONS - NEVER AGAIN

Order a gift basket to be delivered on 22nd Dec - most of the items - had been substituted for cheaper stuff and some items were missing. I ordered African violets 2 nos and nothing was sent - they sent a small awful poinsettia, order a cake - it cames squashed and damaged and when you write to their customer service - some Jincy gives lame / poor excuses! Worst Company ever. NEVER AGAIN.. They are such frauds. They took my money and I live in another country so it was a lot to spend and they DO NOT care!

Never again

I ordered a gift basket on Dec 10 for delivery Dec 15. It was delivered a week late. When I tried to reach customer service I was kept on hold for over 35 minutes. When I finally reached someone they assured me it would be delivered days earlier than it was. Every business is definitely struggling to pivot during these difficult times but it’s not sustainable to not answer emails, calls or Voicemails for weeks. This was my first time ordering with Hazeltons and will be my last.

I am in the same boat as everyone else

I am in the same boat as everyone else, placed an order on 27th Nov for a $350 gift basket to be deliver to my Mum (82) and brother on the 20th Dec. started chasing them on Monday and still can't get through by any means. I am guessing they don't intend on doing anything. I will be phoning my bank now as i used my credit card and report them. Apart from this Covid 19 disaster, she also lost her husband in August and I wanted to send a little surprise for their Christmas dinner.
