SCAM COMPANY!

Ordered on Dec 21/20 and tried to enquire about non delivery. Nothing! Can't email, box is full. Can't get an answer on phone. No response messaging them and leaving a message on FB ( they have deleted all comments). Terrible customer service and I feel scammed for $105.00! Will be looking further into this company!

Placed the order on 12/17 and paid $15…

Placed the order on 12/17 and paid $15 for "usually next day delivery." Order shipped one week later on 12/24, no doubt to allow for a quick run to the local discount store for some Christmas Eve bargains that were left over from the pre-Christmas rush. The basket, or rather, paper box, "festively" arrived on 12/31. That might have been redeeming had the contents matched either the photo or the written description of brands and items included. (Did I mention that the company never responded to multiple messages?) The recipients of the gift "basket" did have a good laugh at the jacked-up jumble of Ross inspired (not even TJ Maxx) snacks and said that the family dog would "enjoy his treats" from Hazleton's. It was also noted their having COVID blocked the ability to taste and smell. So, yeah, caveat emptor. Consider this review your fair warning!

Never order from them

Never order from them. I ordered on December 21, expecting delivery before end of the year. It's January 8 and still no delivery. There is no ability to call in, and the EMAIL BOX IS FULL when you send in a request. I can only assume that they have made off with my money. I am attempting recovery from my credit card company. Website is slick, and professional, but that's the end of it.

Big disappointment

Big disappointment! Thanks to Hazelton's leave my mom without a gift. I ordered a gift in advance for 8 days, promised to deliver on time, but after confirming the payment, no more notifications. All attempts to contact the support service were unsuccessful. Never again will I turn to this terrible company!

Appalling service

Appalling service. I ordered a gift on 15 Dec for guaranteed delivery on 22 Dec. It was finally delivered on 6 Jan with no apology and with no response to enquiries with customer service. Apparently the contents of the gift basket were nice, but the lateness of the gift was an embarrassment. I will never use this company again.

This company is an out and out scam

This company is an out and out scam. Bottom line: they'll take your money and then not shift the gift basket (or whatever you ordered) for at least a month, and often not at all. Their business model relies on the gift recipients not telling the people who sent the gift baskets that they never received them. If you've bought anything from this company do not even bother calling for a refund. Here is what you do: CALL YOUR BANK AND TELL THEM THAT YOU WANT TO DISPUTE AND CANCEL THE CREDIT CARD CHARGE BECAUSE THE COMPANY IS A SCAM AND THE GOODS WERE NEVER SHIPPED.

Worse experience ever with dealing with any company. Be aware. 3.5 weeks later and still no delivery for a basket that was supposed to be delivered next day. Customer Service in MIA. Not answering phones, emails or live chat. Doing a chargeback and never ordering from here again

If I could give this company 0 stars I…

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. Ordered a basket for Christmas like all the other terrible reviews on here, on December 17th. As of January it still hadnt arrived. After sending them several emails I finally got a response that was very generic. After demanding a refund and threatening to report their business I finally got an email saying my order had shipped. The next day I received my basket and was even angrier with what I saw. Both bottles of wine were substituted for cheaper alternatives. Had ordered fruit including chocolate covered strawberries and it was all substituted with one bag of dried pineapple chunks. All of the other items were substituted for other things. And the wooden basket I had ordered was completely broken. NEVER order from this company.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. Basket ordered and paid for 3 weeks ago and still not delivered. Email responses are stock - not personalised. All blame is assigned to the customer, Covid and the courier. They refuse to take any responsibility for non-delivery of baskets. Don’t use these crooks. Update: It gets worse. The basket finally arrived after 7 weeks. Beer was broken and spoiled the rest of the goods. The cheeses had been left out for the entirety of the delivery weeks and was inedible. Crackers were broken and soggy from the broken beer. Some goods paid for weren’t delivered. Total waste of money and a disappointment for Christmas. Hazeltons refused to accept responsibility. Do Not Use these People. Absolute crooks without a doubt

Basket never arrived and no way to contact them

I ordered a gift basket for delivery in late December. It never showed up. Their 1-800 number is an endless loop, tried email and online chat. No response, no gift basket. Wish I had checked here before I bought!

NEVER EVER ORDER anything from this…

NEVER EVER ORDER anything from this HORRIBLE company! I placed an order of this Christmas gift basket on 13 December 2020, setting a delivery on 22nd Dec, for the Christmas gatherings among my in-laws on 24 and 25 December. It arrived only on 30 Dec, TOO BELATEDLY!! We had contacted the customer number for numerous times via telephones, emails and chats, WITH NO ANSWER WHATSOEVER. Only on 6 January did I get any reply from this company, CRITICISING ME, the customer! This company clearly knows neither how to do a decent business nor how to treat customers. After the problems have emerged, I belatedly started checking various independent review websites (like Yelp, Trustpilot, BBB etc.), only to find that this company already got extremely bad reviews; many people call this company as SCAM. There is even a Facebook group among customers who had bad experience with Hazelton's. NEVER order ANYTHING from this extremely irresponsible, despicable, contract-breaking company! I wouldn't like you to waste your precious time, money and emotion like I did so stupidly this time

The horror story is over...

I went to update my original review but it appears to have been deleted. After another email to customer service my order finally shipped though I had been told it had already shipped before Christmas. I am happy to say that my basket was FINALLY delivered only a few weeks late. I guess we can't make anymore jokes about how long it took to go 18 miles. However, nothing in the basket was what I ordered. It was not the style I ordered or the contents I selected. At this point I give up.. lesson learned.

My hamper was scheduled to be delivered 23rd December. Nothing has arrived and I get no response to my emails. They do not take telephone calls. When I check the tracking number with each delivery company mentioned on the invoice, none of them have any record of that tracking number. What do I do?

Wish I Could Give Zero Stars

Ordered Toronto Blue Jays Gift Basket Dec. 10 for delivery Dec. 22. Was delivered by CanPar on Jan. 5, 13 days late. Most of what was supposed to be included was missing and what was delivered was damaged. A broken bottle of barbeque sauce was spilled over the whole thing. Their customer service never returns messages. Email response for late delivery is generic with excuses using Covid. After the damaged delivery yesterday they are yet to respond. I am launching a fraudulent claim with my credit card provider. this is blatant fraud!

Avoid this company at all costs

Avoid this company at all costs. I ordered a gift basket on one of their umbrella sites, Monthly Sommelier, on Nov 30 for a Dec 23 delivery. I also paid for upgraded wine. They shipped it late so it arrived late. I let the recipients know that I had paid for an upgraded selection. They sent me a photo of what was received and it was not the upgraded basket. I reviewed my order and CC statement and confirmed that the upgrade was charged but not actually fulfilled. I replied to the email from MS. Bounced back as undeliverable. I went to their website and sent emails (8) to every email on their site. All bounced back as undeliverable. I called them multiple times and every VM box was full except one. I left a detailed message and never got a call back. As the charge came from Hazelton's I contacted them with the order number, details of order, recipient details and photo. 11 days later I finally get a response asking me for the exact details I had given them! When I told them to check the original email as all the details had already been given they got nasty and refused to provide a refund for the upgraded basket they did not send. When I saw the gift basket in person I was embarrassed at the quality and contents. Not at all what was advertised, even the basic version. Do not buy from this company. Do not use their affiliated companies

Rip off

If I could give no stars at all I would! Ordered a hamper nine days before Christmas eve, and as of January 5th it has still not been delivered. Tried to cancel but got an automatic reply declining cancellation/refund with no reason given. We ordered fresh/perishable foods, so even if delivered now I cannot imagine the state it would arrive in! We are now now starting a case with our card company to try to get the payment returned. Avoid at all costs.

Such a disappointment

Such a disappointment! I ordered 2 baskets last Dec 16 and 17 for Dec 23 delivery but I was not expecting them to arrive before Christmas (due to the pandemic and other delivery issues), but not after New Year. It is now January 5 and the baskets are nowhere to be found. I could not reach them through phone and their email inbox is full so my email could not get through. Please do not order and buy anything from Hazeltons!

Just confirm that it is an Absolute…

Just confirm that it is an Absolute Worst Customer Service! (as mentioned in other reviews). Turning to this company was a big mistake and a disappointment. Do not place orders with them, so as not to be disappointed and deceived. They have now missed their delivery date by a week and absolutely no one is responding to emails. I placed an order on 28.12 and asked for delivery on 31.12. The money is paid. No responsibility and fulfillment from Hazelton's ( today it's already 5.01 ). Stay away from them if you don't want to be disappointed! I will never resort to their services and I do not advise you!
