DON'T USE THIS COMPANY

Here I am with the same complaint as everyone else and at a loss of $300 CAD. Ordered before Christmas and it still has not arrived. Cannot get through on the phone and emails responses are 'cut and pasted'. They blame the pandemic and courier company. My package shows it is with courier but my emails say it's still in their warehouse. Don't bother with this company!

Absolutely terrible customer service

Absolutely terrible customer service. I have been trying to get in touch with customer services since the 19th of December 2020 to cancel or redirect a delivery. No response, no reply to my numerous emails no picking up of phone call no returning voicemail. Company then goes on send a “package” to the wrong address. To avoid waste of money and the headache, use a different service

An absolute nightmare

An absolute nightmare, they never delivered my order and says I cannot get a refund. How is that businesses like these are able to operate? I regret ever ordering from them. Never again. Trust me people keep your money, this company is a fraud! One star is even too much because this company isn’t worth it. Don’t be fooled by their website, I’m usually very careful about online ordering but this is first and definitely a lesson to me. Keep your money, order form somewhere credible. Edible arrangements or Canada flowers, something somewhere else, anywhere but not these dam crooks !

Worst company I have ever dealt with…

Worst company I have ever dealt with avoid at all costs. I ordered a basket to be delivered on the 23rd December for a present for my son, still waiting! Status says it still has not been picked up by courier. If they could not fulfill the order they should not have taken the order or my money. Luckily I have been in touch with my bank and they have refunded the money into my account. You have protection from your bank for fraud and I would urge everyone to do this before they go bankrupt.

**REPORT THESE CROOKS TO SHOPIFY** via shopify dot com/legal/report-aup-violation Similar experience as most - didn't see the bad reviews until it was too late. Ordered a $200 basket with 2-day delivery. It has been 3 weeks and still hasn't shown up. Phone system is an automated goose-chase. Emails bounce back saying their mail box is full. Hoping Paypal saves my skin. It appears they use shopify to host their store. Please use the link I shared above to report their practices to shopify and try to get their page taken down.

Yup, same bad experience

Yup, same horrible experience here. I ordered 3 gift baskets from this company for Christmas and was expecting to receive a basket for myself (which was ordered Dec 10th!) which was only received 2 days ago (Jan 10th, a whole month later!!!). I am still waiting for one basket to be delivered. There is zero communication with the company, making it impossible to even get a refund. They have the same recorded voice message since Christmas and they do not reply to their emails, as they promised they would. They have also convienently disabled their comments section on social media because they know they will be scorched by their customers (like me). I do wish more people would read these reviews (and read related article - Google search “CBC.ca”) before ordering. I sure regret that I didn’t! Please avoid this company. They will happily take your money and run with it.

How I wish I would have read these…

How I wish I would have read these reviews before I placed my order! Pretty much the same as everyone else. Ordered a basket on December 19, according to the tracking status it was picked up by the courier over 2 weeks ago. Last time I checked it doesn't take 2 weeks to drive from Toronto to Burlington. Customer service is non-existent. I have tried calling, emailing and live chat with no response. I'm starting to think this whole thing is a scam. Next step: report credit card charge as fraudulent. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

I would give this company a zero if I could. I wish I had read these reviews before I gave my money. No responses. Just automated B.S. robots to avoid dealing with customers. I've called, emailed, and NOTHING. Horrible. Run!!

Do not use this company!

Like everybody else I wish I had read the reviews before using this company. I ordered at the end of November for delivery on Dec 19 in time for Christmas. The product was finally delivered on Jan 11. At the beginning of January I emailed Hazelton's to find out was happening. All I got was an automated reply assigning me a ticket number - never any apology or explanation, let alone any compensation. I can't believe that Covid or Christmas could be the explanation as Christmas happens every year and Covid has been with us for nine months. And to add insult to injury I got an email last week asking me to review the product before it had even arrived. Never again will I use them.

BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

On December 19, 2020, we placed an online order from this company for a Christmas gift for family. Hazelton's communication informed our order was delivered Dec 21, 2020. Sadly, our expensive gift basket did not get delivered for Christmas, nor after Christmas. In fact, today is Jan 11, 2021, and it still has not been delivered. I tried following-up directly with the company a few times after Christmas when family informed they did not receive our gift: 1) by phone, however, only received a voice message stating I had to send an email regarding our inquiry. NO customer service was available to speak with directly. 2) immediately after that, I sent the email with ALL required info as requested in the voice message. 3) another email, this time requesting the order be canceled because, after all, Christmas had come and gone, New Year's too, and still we received no concrete information as to the whereabouts of our order 3 weeks later, and could not speak with anyone in their customer service. In fact, even with the emails, there was no further communication from the company and no tracking information provided about our order that apparently had been shipped, but no specific details provided. This is reprehensible. There is no delivery, no customer service. I feel like they took our money. All the reviews I have been reading, sounds like many other people's money taken too. Numerous frustrated and angry customers going through the same experience; see YELP, Trustpolit, and even their Facebook page! Wish we had checked reviews first. While their website might look professional, BUYER BEWARE! This company seems like a scam, deceiving. It has no customer service, no product, no delivery. So many red flags. Deeply disappointed. This company should not be in business. I gave them 1 star because I had to in order to leave this review. Otherwise, it would have been a Zero. Do not order from this company!

FAIL

I ordered a Christmas basket for friends, delivery date on order summary, Dec 21, received notification it went out for delivery Jan 1 and they received it Jan 11. Phone calls and emails have gone unanswered. I wish i had read the reviews prior to ordering from Hazelton's. Lesson learned

Very disappointing

Very disappointing! Avoid at all costs! I ordered a gift set for our friend's 60th birthday anniversary to be delivered on January 9th, 2021; however, the box was delivered one day earlier which completely ruined the surprise. On top of that, they delivered the wrong item. Do not trust their advertisements! I ordered a sophisticated wine/whisky decanter and glasses and upgraded it with a fine bottle of cognac, birthday balloon, and a birthday card. none of those were delivered. Instead, they filled a box with garbage food and cheap liquor. On my requests to deliver the items that I ordered or reimburse me for failure to comply with my order, they advised me that due to COVID situation they will not respond to my email in the foreseeable future. Shame on you Hazeltons'!!! You act like criminals.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

Terrible customer service from the company. Ordered a very expensive gift basket to be delivered on December 24th when the recipient was home. Received delivery notification 2 days early, that it had been delivered to the wrong address, and address that does not exist. Have been making every attempt to reach customer service since Dec 22 to no avail. After several calls and emails, I received an email from Hazletons advising me to contact the delivery company (fed ex) to get proof of delivery. Hazletons then sent me their policy for lost/stolen items, advising me that it was not their responsibility. Fed Ex will not release the proof of delivery to me because I am not the shipper. On January 11, I am still trying to reach a customer service agent at Hazletons. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Bad customer experience, avoid,

What a terrible customer experience, purchased Cheese and Wine crate for my daughter who lives in Vancouver as a gift for Christmas, on their website they have 5 star reviews so at point of purchase was happy and spent roughly £100 in upgrades to package. Placed order mid November for delivery 22nd December to arrive in good time for Christmas day, all hasn't gone smoothly, deliver 2 days late, missing products from standard gift crate, damage to wooden crate, the £100 in upgrades not included. I'm extremely annoyed and have emailed company, no reply, gave company a 1 star review on their website and surprise surprise my review hasn't been published. I will not be using company again and i strongly recommend everyone avoids.

Beware. This company is a scam.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. They don't respond to phone calls nor emails. Finally got a response stating they will not refund my money even though my order is now 20 days late. They have 89 complaints with the Better Business Bureau and 81 with no reponse. They were profiled on CBC as a company with serious delivery, product quality and customer service issues. ( see CBC investigation) I have experienced all of the above. Steer clear of this group. They are a useless middle man. Deal directly with your local shop.

Misleading On-Line Gift Basket Provider

I placed 2 orders approximately a week before Christmas. My orders did not arrive on the date requested, and to date only 1 of my orders has been. When the order was received - IT WAS NOTHING LIKE I ORDERED, nor did I receive an email from their customer service department advising that my product was out of stock and an alternative would be provided. I strongly advise to NEVER order a gift basket from them.

Ripped off…

Ordered whiskey for a Christmas present. It arrived late...I understand that. But it was a cheap whiskey. The one I ordered AND paid for was 3 times the price. All emails or attempts to contact them have been ignored. Edit. So they have eventually contacted me saying they reserve the right to change the goods ordered and the value of goods delivered at any time and the customers are not entitled to any refund as this is their policy. Daylight robbery. I’ll be taking this further.

Complete scam

Can only add to the hundreds of other reviews by dissatisfied customers. 'Guaranteed' delivery by 22 December. Never arrived and they just reply to emails saying it is 'in transit'. It has now been in transit for 20 days and, even if it was suddenly miraculously delivered, it contained perishable food so it's no longer any good. I suspect their couriers, Canpar, are in cahoots on this scam as they are similarly incompetent and unreachable. Ironically, they sent me an email asking me to rate the hamper on their website. I have, but doubt it will ever be published. I am now putting a chargeback through on my credit card, but this company really needs to be put out of business.

Terrible Customer Service

Customer Service is NONEXISTENT! I placed an order for a holiday fruitcake and a few small bags of dried fruit arrived.  I have tried for over two weeks to correct but it is impossible to reach anyone by phone and the 'live chat' on the website is neither live nor a chat (you basically submit an email that falls into an abyss).  Contacting Customer Service via e-mail address on their website is no better - it either gets no response or an auto-generated message that has nothing to do with the issue or attempts to resolve the problem.  I'm usually patient and sympathetic but using the holidays and COVID as an excuse is no longer acceptable.  I just wanted the fruitcake shipped.  Now I need to dispute it via the credit card company.  They've lost my business forever.
