If there was a minus review I would use…

If there was a minus review I would use it.. Terrible communication. Items took a month then nothing described and I paid extra for two supposedly quality cheeses that never arrived. Communication non apologetic and mostly automated. Would never reccomend

Terrible company

Terrible company. Never delivered order and when it was disputed with PayPal they finally sent the order but sent horrible cheap items, nothing like what I had ordered. They never reply to your emails. Scam website do not order from them!!

Late, Inaccurate, & Terrible Customer Service

The package FINALLY arrived. 1 month late. It's impossible to get ahold of the company. Not all of the items in the basket were what was mentioned on the site. A random mug was included in the basket rather than a dipping dish which was to pair with the food. (nothing in the basket required a mug, unless you count the wine. I paid to upgrade the wine - neither the house wine was the brand they mention in the description, nor was the "upgraded" wine accurate for what I chose. They were both from the same company and only a $15 wine. The meat was supposed to be 2 salami, and instead, it came with a package of smoked salmon. The cheese spreader wasn't included. The cutting board looks cheap compared to what's pictured. Huge disappointment. Will never order from here again.

What a disaster! Don’t order from them

If only I had read the reviews on here before they screwed me over! Never sent the gift, never responded to my emails or messages. The gift was for a friend who really needed the pick me up and I’m so upset companies like this exist

Terrible terrible experience!!!

Terrible terrible experience!!! Ordered over 2 weeks ago and was supposed to be delivered in 1 business day. still no confirmation of shipment. Very poor customer service, waiting 3-4 days for a response. Why sell a service or products that you cant fulfil. I am appalled and have requested to cancel my order and refund but they are ignoring me. Please do not waste your time ordering from this site.You will be disappointed and frustrated!

Where do I begin!

Where do I begin! First of all why do you ask your customers to choose a delivery date when you can’t deliver it on time! Second of all I’ve called my bank and done a chargeback since you didn’t deliver on time and now they send me a tracking and said it’s delivered LMFAO you scammers who did you deliver too!!! My friend was staying in an arbnb for the time being I don’t even know who has the product, I’ve read so much it’s horrible you blocked customers from social Media from commenting, you don’t any call nor do you bother calling back and oh emails forget that you probably don’t have such good customer service, horrible disgusting I DO NOT SUGGEST THIS TO ANYONE!!! Horrible company with horrible service and horrible overall! Maybe starry hiring people for customer service and work like a business not like scammers.

Buyers beware

Living in the U.S. and believing Hazelton’s to be a reputable Canadian firm, I ordered a Christmas Basket for my family in Toronto. The order was placed in early December with a mid-December delivery request. When it did not arrive, I contacted them and was informed in late December that COVID had delayed their shipments. To make a long story short, the package arrived on January 18 with the basket and its contents in taters. Buyers beware.

It is only when I submitted a claim…

It is only when I submitted a claim with my bank that I received an email from Hazeltons after 3 weeks, that gift was prepared to ship. It is a misrepresentation which they sent with an earlier tracker. I already asked for cancellation on their website. FRAUD in Disguise.

Ordered an expensive basket for…

Ordered an expensive basket for Christmas 14 weeks prior. Arrived on January 19. The only thing slower than the delivery is the response from their customer service department. Still haven’t heard from them. The selected items had been exchanged for cheap and very different items, so don’t waste your time on carefully selecting artisan cheeses - what we got was a cheap Brie and Camembert.. we also paid $36 for cheese set, which they exchanged for a cheap basket. I literally can’t say anything positive about the it - so I just want to warn others from spending hundreds of dollars on expensive baskets that you would be embarrassed to hand over in person..

THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

I ordered based on a search for the Vancouver area not realizing it would be sent from Toronto. Wanted for Christmas and delivered on Jan.18 after a month. Communication when I finally reached someone was unhelpful, unapologetic, rehearsed and downright rude. Product delivered was NOT as ordered - only 2 of 8 items in the basket were as expected - the rest made no sense as a cohesive group and were much less valuable than what was shown on the site. DON'T BE RIPPED OFF LIKE I WAS!

Worst customer service I have ever…

Worst customer service I have ever experienced! I bought a basket to send as a gift and it was delivered weeks late. It was only after exchanging several emails that a tracking number was provided. I would not recommend doing business with them. You can be very frustrated.

Poor service, basket not what I ordered

Similar complaints as what I have read. Two baskets ordered, one was supposed to be delivered Dec 21, finally made it by Jan 6. Second custom basket was supposed to have a decanter and custom picked items. No decanter was shipped, two bottles of liquor (thankfully they were the upgrade), similar items were sent but nothing that I actually ordered. No communication was sent saying they were substituting, I would not have gone ahead with the custom order if I knew the decanter was out of stock, that was the whole point of the gift! No customer service at all, you call, they send an email days later not really explaining anything. Very poor communication. I would NOT use them again, what a shame, the website gives such a good impression.

Very late delivery, no customer service!!!

They take orders which they never intend to deliver on time. Our order was delivered 3 weeks late!!! No tracking, no notice, just left on a doorstep for any porch pirate to snatch. No customer service, noone available to speak with. A big corporation with no accountability. Do not use this service!

Gift Basket Never Delivered

I ordered a gift basket on Dec 30th for $108. After waiting and never getting an update I ordered flowers for my Aunt who was in the hospital. I felt horrible she was waiting so long for a delivery I said was on its way. Shipping said it would be shipped in 3 days. I usually do tons of research before buying anything. Wish I had read up closer.

Flower subscription Never delivered!!!

I purchased a flowers subscription from their website for a Christmas present. No flowers have ever been delivered. I have emailed multiple times, left voicemail messages, used the chat, and no response at all! It must be a fraudulent website, do not purchase on it!!! I hope I can do a charge back on my credit card as I had to pay up front! So so so disappointed.

Do not buy from here

Do not buy from here. What you order is nothing close to what you receive. No answer by phone and face book Messenger also send you back to customer service. And there’s no actual customer service department. It’s a loop. The phone is managed by robots. I was supposed to get a hand finished dark wood acacia cutting board and instead I got something that I legit saw at TNT supermarket. It’s more than a rip off. It’s a scam. Such a scam

Do NOT use this company

Do NOT use this company, if I could give them a zero I would. My wife ordered a gift basket Dec 23 and paid premium expedited delivery charge. It is now January 15 and still NO delivery and no ability to reach them by phone, messages not returned and their customer service line bounces back emails because their quota is exceeded. Don’t know how they stay in business, just terrible

Don't let the pretty site and fake reviews on the site fool you

I ordered a gift basked as a friend's mother died. 2 business days later and there was no movement on the order. I tried to use the 24 hour "live" chat, but no one ever responded - not live at all. I called during business hours only to hear a repeating message indicating to send an email. All options by the automated operator sent you to the same repeating message. I sent an email requesting to know when to expect the order to be shipped. No response. I requested a refund leaving an "Offline" message on the Live Chat on business day 2. I left a voicemail also on business day 2 to at least provide two different methods of trying to resolve the issue (they were clearly not answering my emails). Later in the day, the website tracking indicated that the shipment was with the courier (that was a lie). 14 calendar days after placing my order for a sympathy fruit basket (or 9 days after I cancelled my order) , I received an email saying my order had been shipped mid-afternoon. I checked the UPS tracking number that was provided me in that email to find it was not even with UPS yet. SHAM!

Should we contact the police?

I placed two orders for my children in Canada (one in Mississauga and one in Montreal) before Christmas and they still have not received there gift baskets. Based on other comments in this review portal it looks like there are many others in a similar situation. Is there someone I can contact in Canada to investigate what appears to be a theft.
