West Shore Home Reviews

Be Aware! West Shore Home should be ashamed of itself for taking advantage of a senior citizen trying to make her bathroom safe. My 85-year-old mother just (within a week) had her bathroom remodeled by West Shore Homes. They charged her $20,000.00 for a floor, a fiberglass shower stall without a door, a vanity without shelves, and a toilet! And the material appeared to be prefabricated. Her bathroom is tiny—a 5'x6' space. The footprint is even less for the flooring because it has a sink with a cabinet, a toilet, and a shower. Their work did not include her walls, molding, or a shower door! There is no way they did $20,000.00 worth of work in her bathroom! And for the record, her flooring, plumbing, and electrical were in great shape before the redo. West Shore Home practice may be lawful, but it is unethical. Please be aware of this and protect your elderly relatives.

I normally don't write the reviews unless something really good or really bad. And Westshore Home is one of the really bad one that I need to write the review to let people know so they can avoid making the same mistake like me. I could give them zero star if I had a choice. This company is extremely bad in both doing their job and customer service. First of all, Steve Howel was the sale rep I had dealt with for my home impact windows replacement. He offered a discount with a condition that I must give a 5-Star review before the work even started. He also tricked me to sign finance agreement without processing fee but his finance department still charged me $148.50. He had promised me many times thru text messages to refund me the fee but never did. He's now stop responding to my text message completely. I took them nearly 4 months to complete the job of replacing 14 widows. None of the Westshore crew working the job were able to speak English; therefore, I couldn't communicate with them at all. The stucco around the old windows were removed for the installations of the new windows and it took them over 2 months to fix the gaps between the new windows and the existing stucco. The is the worst company I've ever experienced with. Please stay away from this company.

I was just quoted over 18k and that didn’t include tearing out tile, nor did it include the glass door even! This was for tearing out the jacuzzi tub, applying the protection on the walls and the shower basin with the material they use. Also a tiny bit of plumbing for the drain. Insane!!!!! My son is a plumber and can do the entire job but I wanted it done quickly. I asked if my son could do the plumbing since it’s already there he just needs to carry it up the wall and maybe relocate the drain - over the phone they said yes he could but sales rep said no he cannot. And that’s fine but wow 18k and not even doing the floor nor the glass shower door! That’s outrageous!!!!

Dayshawn and Reid, our installers were super-very polite and professional. They explained everything so well and did a great cleanup after they were finished. Conversion looks great!

westshorehomes.com is sending malicious email ads that cannot be blocked, cannot be ruled out and worse yet when deleting it, it reappears again in the inbox and hold box. I am using outlook mail. These emails were unsolicited and unwanted. I have never contacted the firm therefore question how they got my email. For 35 days I have requested they stop sending this email. They have refused to stop! If they stoop this low in advertising I would never trust them in my home!!!!!

I had all of my windows replaced in March. The team was there right at 8am ready to roll. I had a crew of about 6 guys working on the job and they were able to replace all of the windows, clean the windows, and clean the whole area of the house where they worked all by around 4pm. They were good about communicating with me throughout the day with status updates. They also did a walk through with me to evaluate each window to make sure I was happy before they left for the day. It was my first time replacing windows and the team they sent out was excellent. The windows work really well, and I'm very happy 2 months later.

This is the worst product I have ever used the calking has been replaced 2 times mold comes through th inside of there calk it sucks don’t use there product they don’t stand buy it

We got our walk in shower back in February 2024 We have had people come out three different times. Come to find out the installer never put plywood on our back wall of shower which it is bowing out because it was not done right. Now the whole thing has to be redone . I'm very upset that now we will be without a shower again. For the money that we paid this should have never happen. I would not recommend this company that did a very sloppy job.

I had a very nice day with Tommy. He was very polite and listened to my concerns. He fixed everything I asked of him. He did a wonderful job. Please hire more people like Tommy. He was very knowledgeable. You could tell by talking with him that he really loves his job. Thanks so much for sending Tommy.

First let me start with saying I feel it is very important to tell the truth. We were told the shower was designed for vets. My husband is in a wheel chair & we were anxious to be able to have him enjoy a shower. It is not a wheel chair shower. The president & CEO of your company said he was proud to give back in a meaningful way. Though we still have to work to pay our bills we were charged an outrageous price as with in a matter of about 4 months since the shower was put in, we have had to call 3 times with problems. The first problem the one who sold it to us put in a proper shower head he could reach. The other 2 times a young man came to fix the other problems. Third problem he was not able to fix because they had to order what was needed. We could have had a shower put it by another company for $5,000. less. But since what we were told could be sooner and would work for my husband, we were anxious & went ahead with this which w now regret very much as it is not what was told. We would never recommend this company at all.

Harrison came to my home to show me the options and explain the process. After being notified that my door was ready ahead of schedule, Paul and Robert arrived on time to install my new front door. They were courteous, pleasant, knowledgeable about their work and did a great job. I was kept informed before they arrived. Robert and Paul made sure every little detail was taken care of before leaving. They showed respect for my home and belongings and left my home as clean as when they arrived. Great Job! I highly recommend West Shore Home and would use them again.

West Shore Homes contractors did a great shower remodeling. Jake is very knowledgeable about installing West Shore products. Sotèlo works well with Jake. Gregg came and helped Jake with the job. Jake takes pride in his work. West Shore my contact written by Joseph was carried out to the letter. Thank you.

Starting with Ryan Frazier who laid out the company history to instill trust in our decision. My husband and I were home thru the entire installation. The work crew came in and they each had a position and they went to work-very orderly with no doubt they knew exactly what to do and were very polite and respectful. Our crew was top notch as far as we were concerned consisting of: Juan, Alan, Jesus, Kevin, Demond and Dennis: their workmanship was impeccable and so appreciated until the last tarp was rolled up. A++ our decision to go with West Shore Home was not made on a whim-in fact it took literally years! Amazing quality & appearance!!

I had a stroke and had no grab bars in my old shower and love the grab bars and feel much safer in my new shower.

One word to describe our experience with this company: Nightmare. Have plenty of pictures if you want to see. Do not fall for their scam sales tactics, especially how they really play up that it'll be complete in one day. It's "complete" in one day with shoddy workmanship. Also, EXTREMELY overpriced. They come to fix their mistakes (like leaving work out of code, punctures in piping, incomplete caulking that causes water to dribble out of the bottom of your shower onto the floor in multiple places, unlevel shower doors so they don't even close correctly or completely, a bubbling shower wall, and more...), costing you more of *your* time; yet, here I go to flush my new toilet and the handle breaks. This is after two full days of them *re-doing* the *entire project* and then a guy having to come after-hours to fix a leaking fitting-- while I was trying to get dinner on the table. Them redoing the job included them having to replace the toilet and floor they damaged during the initial job. Little snapshots of this whole experience. Saying yes to these people was a bad decision. And it feels worse that it seems like we worked with overall dishonest people. You have to know what questions to ask, you have to bring in a level and check them along the way, and they "upgrade" your project during the "fixes" when they had "guaranteed" the best at the start! For the price, we had assumed we could initially take them at their word. Unless you want to pay an arm and a leg for a *major* headache, learn from us and seriously just run.

Checked with several contractors to remodel the master bathroom. Contacted WSH and decided to have them do the remodel. Decided to do 2 and 1/2 bathrooms (3 in total). Team consisting of Wyatt c, Paris M, Stan P, David, Chris, Arron A, Tony, and Dustin did a tremendous job in completing all three in just two days. The installation was smooth and professional. I would use WSH again for other projects. The pricing was very reasonable.

Deon Trowell and Alexis Gant, where extremely positive and addressed all my concerns. A complete delight to work with and an asset to the West Shore Company.

Tim White arrived on time and organized. He came to determine why my small shower (6 months old) was leaking. He determined the lower caulking needed to be removed and redone. He worked efficiently and did not leave a mess. He explained that I was not the cause of the leak (as many of us homeowners believe we have done something wrong). I am puzzled however why a shower that is used by only one person, three times a week would need to have this repair so soon. I also had the opportunity to clean my shower head. I can't reach it, and Tim took it down made a few repairs and gave it to me to clean it. What a good feeling. I am grateful to Tim for tweeking my new shower. I'm wondering if a "tweeking visit" should be part of the process. Also I am grateful that I could afford to have my old shower replaced in 8 hours rather than 7 weeks as it usually takes the traditional bathroom/shower makeover.

The outside of the new front door looks great. However, I was told that they would measure the old door space which consisted of a double door and that the new door would be custom made to fit the old space exactly, but the door designer did not take into account the material to hold the new hinge and that required the door to shift an inch. That meant on inside they had to shift everything an inch that left a hole in the mop board and a hole in the LFP floor and damaged the drywall on the left side of the door for a 1 inch strip that will need to be repaired and painted properly. Very poor measure and design work

Technicians arrived on time. Completed the removal and installation of front door in a fast and professional manner. Work area was cleared and trash disposed. Dennis and Josh representative the company in a positive manner.
