SWA has a duopoly on flying to Fort Lauderdale. I had to change my flight. The price went from $188 to $464. Congratulations SWA you are now like the other airlines.

lost suitcase…

We just got back from Las Vegas with a plane change in Houston. Southwest lost a suitcase on this changeover. Panic set in --everything was in that suitcase. let me tell you Southwest was amazing! I went to the baggage counter and they were efficient as well as very confident & pleasant. We received an incident report and telephone updates until we got the bag delivered to our home within 24 hours Thank You

SWA Canceled our flight to Vegas 3 hrs…

SWA Canceled our flight to Vegas 3 hrs before take off (6:30am) via text 11/1/21. We were advised to jump online to re-book, by the time we did there were no flights available. We were meeting friends , pre-paid hotel, had Lionel Ritchie tickets and this was a vacation we had planned 10 months in advance. We never got to go because other airlines same day booking were astronomically high. We missed our concert, vacation and friends because of SWA employee no shows, this was the reason for cancellation. We complained to SWA and their response was a $150 voucher 😂😂😂, after losing out over $1500 in hotel fees and concert tickets. BEWARE OF THIS AIRLINE trying to make amends at faults of THEIR own.. THEIR customer relations dept are horrible and would not recommend flying with them ever. They can take that $150 voucher and wipe their A_ _ with it. ***LAURA SANDERS- SWA customer relations department****

On Oct.29

On Oct.29, 2021 we had the pleasure of working with Mindy on our flight to Cabo San Lucas, not being too phone savee, we went to full service to check in. Mindy was so helpful, patient, professional with us 3 seniors. She explained everything to us so well. Our next trip out of DIA, I am looking for Mindy @ the full service counter. 👍 for you Mindy & thank you for all your help

SWA Inconsiderate of COVID State of Emergency

I did a booking back in November 2020 before the Governor of DC put up a travel restriction due to Covid. When the travel restriction was implemented I canceled my reservation and since then haven't been traveling for leisure because of Covid. I called in SWA today and they said they will do me a favor and give me a voucher that will expires in 6-months, but they will deduct $100. On top of that the customer service "Liz" said that I can not talk to her manager that she is at the top in the chain of command/decision on this matter and they will not give me an extension without deducting money from the original purchasing price.

Let’s go, Brandon

Apparently Southwest believes you’re not allowed to say Let’s go, Brandon. Do they prefer F Joe Biden? We do still live in the land of the FREE… home of the brave, Southwest. I’d suggest rethinking saying ANYTHING to your pilot, for Pete’s sake, it’s the no. 1 song on iTunes! And another thing, if you stood against this crap and up for your customers… your airline would be so busy you couldn’t keep up!

Never have I ever been so poorly…

Never have I ever been so poorly treated by Southwest Airlines. My husband and myself were suppose to leave Las Vegas headed back to Indianapolis on Monday Nov,1st at 6am. Instead we got a late email at 7pm October 30, informing us that are flight is cancelled and we won’t be able to fly out until the next day at 9:40 with a layover. Southwest refused to accommodate us with a hotel, food nor a different flight to a city close to indianapolis. We had just found out we lost our grandmother and couldn’t get home. Instead they offered a 100 love flight voucher as if that would cover another night at the Aria or food and drinks for another full day stay. We had to miss an extra day of work and had to pay an extra day of child care because we had no other way of getting to our children. No way of getting to our family when they needed us the most. Southwest left us with no options and they didn’t care. The service coordinators were unhelpful( Mary- Phoenix14 ) I’ve never been so poorly treated in my life. I’d never recommend anyone to fly them ever again. You all should be a ashamed of yourselves. 20728662640 28YA9W 28XKTC Then had Laura Sanders in customer service offer me a 150 LUV voucher, which is laughable seeing as I spent over 300+ just to stay another night in hotel and for me n my husband to eat. DO BETTER SOUTHWEST. y’all seem to be going downhill.

Southwest We Are Done

Today I had a flight from Hartford to Baltimore that was delayed. I checked with the gate and to see if that would affect my ability to make my connecting flight to Sarasota. I was told by her that the Baltimore to Sarasota flight was also delayed and absolutely nothing would affect my ability to be on that flight. We landed in Baltimore in the A wing and connecting flight was in B wing. We frantically ran to get to the boarding gate to find the plane still there, door closed and about 14 of us denied access to our plane. It seems without our knowledge Southwest rescheduled all of us to a much later flight. No one could explain how that happened. We sat and pleaded our case to all the people in charge as we watched our plane still sitting there. We were denied. I had upgraded my ticket to A status and my new tickets had us in C section, basically the last people to board. When asked the attendent said it would cost be $40 to upgrade the tickets. I explain I had already paid the money. She had no interest. As some one who has changed and rescheduled to flights with ⬇️ before, my A status has always followed along with my change. This time it didn't because Southwest made the change. Thank you Southwest for sticking a loyal customer in the back of your airplane and lying to me and causing all 14 or more of us such distress. I will be cancelling my Southwest credit card and looking at Avelo and Jet Blue for my future trips. Keep your travel voucher we will be customers elsewhere.

Basically Thievery

Southwest Airlines has a terrible business model. If you reserve a flight six months in advance then cancel the flight reservation within a week, you are not able to receive a refund for the cost of the flight. Instead, they only issue you a credit that you can use towards purchasing another flight at Southwest, which can only be used within 12 months. If you want to actually be refunded for something that you paid for but never received, you would need to pay more money in the first place for the ticket, just in the possible circumstance that you would need to cancel the flight later. I don't understand how a business can receive payment for a service that is never provided and not issue a refund for the service. Will not be flying Southwest Airlines again.

Fly with them if you want consistent last minute delays

The problem I’m having is they are almost ALWAYS delayed! The delays are ridiculous! The later the flight the longer the delay. I’ve even noticed they stopped sending me emails to review/rate my flight because they are ALWAYS delayed and always inconveniencing us! I never run into these issues consistently with delta !

They are just dropping the ball and not…

They are just dropping the ball and not paying attention to detail. They need to get their stuff together before they go out of business. Return flight got changed to a different gate. Sat in the runway for 15 min. Just landed and sitting in the runway again for another 15 min because of a gate mishap.

Customer Service is changing....

I have always loved flying Southwest. However, I am so disappointed in the customer service I received trying to book a flight with a credit. The first woman I spoke with was clearly not trained properly to help customers. She was looking at my flights from 2019 and telling me I had already used my credit and when I tried to explain she was looking at the flights from 2019 and not 2020 she became more difficult to deal with. I finally hung up with her after being told I did not have a credit available. I called again and the woman I spoke with the second time was able to locate my credit and apply it to a new flight. Unfortunately, I did not have my record locator which made the process more difficult which is another frustration about the customer experience. More than one option should be easily available if a customer does not have a record indicator. You can do better Southwest!

Grateful!

At the last minute, we had to re-book our flight from Milwaukee to Nashville August 28, and Deb at the desk in Milwaukee rescheduled our flight. She was so very nice, profeasional and reassuring! Thanks, Deb! The very same weekend, we took our 94 year old mom from Nashville to Orlando. Ashley, at the boarding desk noticed our mom in a wheelchair and walked over to us to let us know we would be able to board right away. She really went out of her way to help us. At the time, the airport was so very crowded and we could have been easily over-looked. Thank you, Ashley! We flew back to Milwaukee, August 31, Flight 1162 @ 3:35PM and the pilot was amazing! I don't think I've ever experienced a more smooth landing. All flight attendants were kind and courteous and made our trip great! Thank you Southwest!

I've been a loyal customer BUT...

I have been a loyal customer to Southwest Airlines, but now based on recent events and knowing how Airline treats they own employees, giving them ultimate or loose their job and then on the top of everything LIE to their customers about the reasons of their flights cancellations - SHAME! Such a shame! This matter has to be fixed or they will loose thousands of customers including me :(

Traveled to CA in July for my birthday

Traveled to CA in July for my birthday. SouthWest did not care about their passengers! We sat for 5 hrs in a plane and in the terminal waiting on a new plane. The “potty” was out and we weren’t flying until we could get it fixed or a new plane. Neither happened for 5 hours. They never said a thing. We question them about vouchers after the five hour point and they did everything they could do to avoid the conversation. It was not only myself it was the entire gate asking. We were put off and put off and put off and put off! This is the worst airlines! It makes you want to apply for the job just to make it better. Come on Southwest stop treating people this way! We’re not your cattle! The vouchers just are not compensation. We want better service not more of the same terrible service!
