SWA has a duopoly on flying to Fort Lauderdale. I had to change my flight. The price went from $188 to $464. Congratulations SWA you are now like the other airlines.

Southwest used to be great but not…

Southwest used to be great but not anymore! I booked two round trip flights in the last few months and all four of my flights were changed from direct to connections! The last flight was supposed to get into PIT at around 10am and they changed to connecting flights getting in at 7pm. Since I needed to be back earlier I was forced to book a Delta flight and spending $300 additional. I will never again book SW!

We booked two flights with Southwest…

We booked two flights with Southwest Airlines and unfortunately couldn’t fly because of the pandemic emailed Southwest Airlines who didn’t answer , so I emailed again and again eventually got an answer told that the tickets are no longer of any value and they cost $455 because I made a fuss they give me two vouchers for $127 each, The thing with that is the vouchers are only valid for six months we’re still in the pandemic still not able to fly to America because we live in England so I asked them to extend the dates and was told that If I can’t use them I could give them to family and friends which all live in England, so you gave us something but give me nothing really because the vouchers are valueless and expire in six months what was the matter with making them valid for a year, I’m so unhappy with Southwest Airlines I can’t believe that they can treat people this way, we are both pensioners and this was something we’ve been saving for years, this is one of the things on our bucket list to go to Graceland while we still can do these things, all I can say is thanks for being so understanding Southwest Airlines because you’re definitely not, we feel as if we’ve been thoroughly ripped off from such a big company enjoy our money. Your Customer Service is Absolutely useless.

COULD NOT REFUND TICKET FOR COVID 19 WORKER

This airline is disgusting!!! They should be ashamed of themselves and I won’t be done until I have been satisfied! Taking advantage of people during a crisis in our country is despicable! I have worked for a laboratory since day 1 of covid. Processing and testing specimens to help you despicable people and you take my money because I cannot leave my job to travel?? I had no choice but to cancel twice so for that you take my money!!!! And then tell me you hope I’ll fly your airline in the future!!! Are you kidding me! Your selfish and cheap!!!! I am not done by a long shot. I hope you never lose anyone to Covid because someone like me chose vacation over testing someone you love!!!! Your a disgrace!!! I will continue to post this wherever I have to so people like you know how rotten you really are. You are a perfect example of what is wrong with this world!! I hope my lousy few bucks feel good in your pocket!

Not worth it at any price!

Use to be a fun/good airline some 10 years ago! After recently flying American and Delta to compare I will never again fly Southwest. Low cost should not mean worthless. Barely above Spirit Airlines! Worst seen to date. Never again. Not worth it at any price.

So sad that southwest has become so…

So sad that southwest has become so terrible. I’ve flown Alaska many times during the pandemic and it was wonderful. Had no choice but to take SW and wow have they plummeted. Yes they are the west’s bargain but their service was once legit. Clearly not anymore :(

I have lost respect for this airline

It is now 12:53 am and we have been sitting g on this plane since 8:15. The staff has lied to us several times saying we will be leaving. My sister has a bad back and told them she needed to get off. They told us that they could not guarantee we would have a flight home tomorrow. They told us we were leaving right then and to sit down. That was 1 1/2 hrs ago. I’ve never seen such disrespect. Southwest was always my favorite. NOT ANYMORE!!!

Overall good experience flying…

Overall good experience flying Southwest. They usually depart and arrive on time and luggage check in is ok. Likewise for individual check in. Usually a quick process. Never had a problem with lost luggage. And they usually have the best prices...especially if you are flexible with dates & times.

They canceled my ticket without my consent. I wasted time and energy to fix it that day. I had to email them. They finally gave me a voucher of $150 valid for only one year. Really bad customer service.

Southwest is not what it used to be

Twice my family has had a trip booked and twice the flight was canceled at 12 am the night before. Our flight time was early morning each time, 5-6am. All we get is a text saying our flight is canceled. We then have to call customer service and wait hours to actually talk to someone. You should have a person, not a automated response, reach out and help every individual affected by the cancelation. I should not be wasting my time for your screw up! I understand stuff happens but it is up to the business to fix that,, not the customer!! As far as I'm concerned southwest does not deserve my business and I hope this review sways other individuals as well. I work in customer service and I know how it should go. Southwest you have a lot of work to do!

Absolutely awful experience

Absolutely awful experience, during flight I had a slight impairment in my breathing and dropped my mask down to the mouth region. They then kept harassing me into picking up my mask even though I repeatedly told them I had difficulty breathing with the mask on during the flight, not initially, initially I was just fine. They could not sympathize for even a second, an absolutely disgusting business and everyone involved in it, including the employees. Wake up everyone, do you not really see what is happening, I will never attend Southwest Airlines in the foreseeable future!

This is the worst airline ever

This is the worst airline I will ever board. I decided to try this airline and they messed up my day. Flight to Orlando was quick with stupid chips and small shared cup of drink. With so much money they can't afford to give people just a can of soda. My return flight experience was so so below par. They cancelled my 9:30pm from Orlando to Indy just 1 hr to boarding that I already arrived at airport after changing and changing time and I didn't bother and they rebooked me to 7:35am following morning I woke up with my wife and 1 year old and 4 years old girls at 4:30am just to be prepared after leaving to airport they cancelled my flight again and rescheduled me to 11:45 instead of direct flight they put us on 7hrs 50 minutes 1 stop flight and I was supposed to resume work. I called, took their customer service 40 minutes to answer my calls and they gave me another flight from 8 to 5pm which used up all my freaking day. I went to claim my luggage and my bag is damaged. This stupid flight I will never in my life book them again

Nothing worse than expecting a little…

Nothing worse than expecting a little understanding during a pandemic......and receiving none! Southwest Airlines is deplorable and should be run out of business for their lack of customer support. Y'all are the epitome of what is wrong with this country. You have definitely lost a customer forever.

Looking for a better way to travel.

Covid has killed customer service at SW and I don’t see it ever coming back. Today the cabin crew was borderline hostile, barking orders to everyone to get to their seats after a 30 minute delay. I wouldn’t have been surprised if they had said buckle up and shut up; we don’t want to be bothered by you as that was their general attitude. Apparently, the first and second tier folks have gone home due to Covid and we are deep into the third tier. Gone are the jokes, good natured banter, and drinks, What’s left are delays, two bags fly free, cramped cabins, and hostile crews. Fly free luggage will not keep folks coming back forever in view of other negatives. Fortunately, was out of my misery in 2.5 hours Dallas to Dan Diego! Looking for other ways to travel; the whole airport experience has been a complete sh*tshow for 20 years!! Ready for RV’ing anyone?

This is one of the worst airlines!

This is one of the worst airlines!. (My husband in the military and he supposed to fly Aug. 11 at 12pm but they cancel and re put him in Aug 12 at 12:20pm (airplane is very small and there no seat arrangement they said go seat any were you want..very unpleasant time !

Pay more money for this flight and I…

Pay more money for this flight and I was so disappointed by their service and one flight attendance said to me “you should buy tickets from different airlines if you don’t like our way.” I traveled with my five kids at least twice a year and I always buy tickets with different airlines but southwest was the worst ever though I found cheaper tickets with other airlines. It was my worse experience compared with other airlines 😞
