Southwest We Are Done
Today I had a flight from Hartford to Baltimore that was delayed. I checked with the gate and to see if that would affect my ability to make my connecting flight to Sarasota. I was told by her that the Baltimore to Sarasota flight was also delayed and absolutely nothing would affect my ability to be on that flight. We landed in Baltimore in the A wing and connecting flight was in B wing. We frantically ran to get to the boarding gate to find the plane still there, door closed and about 14 of us denied access to our plane. It seems without our knowledge Southwest rescheduled all of us to a much later flight. No one could explain how that happened. We sat and pleaded our case to all the people in charge as we watched our plane still sitting there. We were denied. I had upgraded my ticket to A status and my new tickets had us in C section, basically the last people to board. When asked the attendent said it would cost be $40 to upgrade the tickets. I explain I had already paid the money. She had no interest. As some one who has changed and rescheduled to flights with ⬇️ before, my A status has always followed along with my change. This time it didn't because Southwest made the change. Thank you Southwest for sticking a loyal customer in the back of your airplane and lying to me and causing all 14 or more of us such distress. I will be cancelling my Southwest credit card and looking at Avelo and Jet Blue for my future trips. Keep your travel voucher we will be customers elsewhere.
