Flight Off Boarding Debarcle…

We were flying from Melbourne to Dublin via Singapore and Copenhagen, the flight from Singapore was late leaving which meant we landed in Copenhagen 30 minutes before our next flight to Dublin was supposed to leave, we made it to the gate before boarding had commenced only to be told that we had been off boarded because there was not enough time for our luggage to get on this flight!! Off we go to the transfer desk get given details of new flights which is now Copenhagen to London to Dublin and 6 more hours added to what had already been a 30 hour journey, finally get to Dublin to discover that our bags are still in Copenhagen. Sheer incompetence if your going to off board passengers because there luggage won’t make it onto the flight wouldn’t you think that you would make sure that the luggage gets onto the new flights. If the is how they treat their business class passengers heaven help those in economy.

The worst customer service

The worst customer service Every person I have spoken to in customer service has been actually useless. They cannot answer clear questions, they cannot help you understand policy, it's been a genuine nightmare. I would never fly with Singapore airlines again.

The recently reopened Sydney lounge

This is about the recently reopened lounge at Sydney. It is pretty ordinary the usual open space with lots of rows of seats. The biggest disappointment for is the food. The only Asia style food offered was steamed rice and vegetarian stir fried. No chicken rice, noodles or anything else i associate with Singapore food. Even the drinks are ordinary, no real champagne just bubbles and the couple of wines are very ordinary. It is to say the least noting special so if you have the choice go to the Air New Zealand lounge next door.

Shame on you Singapore airlines

Having watched 60 minutes last night, I encourage everyone to write a 0 out of 5 review until Singapore airlines recognise their pilots were to blame for hitting the turbulence that caused so much pain to so many people. Singapore Airlines made a $3 billion profit last year, they need to do compensate the injured passengers accordingly. SHAME ON YOU SINGAPORE AIRLINES

Uncomfortable seats and hungry on board.

l travelled extensively and flown mostly Singapore Airlines but in the last 2 years of flying with SA , l had found the flights most uncomfortable and the food supplied from Singapore to Australia/ New Zealand / Japan most unpalatable, salty, dried and very tiny portions. Most passengers were hungry within 2 hours and by half journey, the snacks had ran out. Too few toilets with massive queues. The seats had very little support in Economy class as the planes were old. These seats are not suitable for 12-14 hours flight , it was so bad it was telling us , go economy premium but SA is not cheap. SA con you with charming flight attendants but that did not compensate for my uncomfortable experience with seats and food. l am off to Japan and South America soon and l have discontinued future booking with SA. Always review seat and leg room and menu onboard and check the age of the plane of other Airlines. l will definitely consider going premium on my longer flights.

Schwache Leistung dieser 5* Airline! Meine FTL-Nummer von LH war bereits in der Buchung PNR, beim Kauf von Sitzplätzen bekame ich als *A-Silver sogar 20% Rabatt. Jetzt 1 Monate vor der Reise ist die Nummer plötzlich gelöscht - bei meine +1 steht sie noch. Hotline redet sich raus, wie immer "OTA-Booking" nicht zuständig, dann behaupten sie der Eintrag der FT-Nummer wäre ein "proper verification" notwendig. Datenschutz... Totschlagargument. Was ist der Unterschied ob ich das am Rechner eintrage oder vorlese. Was sollte denn passieren? Es gehr wirklich weder in der App noch auf der Website Schwach, von einer 5* Airline hätte ich sowas nicht erwartet

Wir können die Singapore Airlines nur empfehlen! Anfang August 2024 hatten wir einen Urlaub in Thailand geplant und wollten mit der Singapore Airlines von Frankfurt über Singapore nach Bangkok fliegen. Leider mussten wir diesen Flug 2 Tage vor Beginn stornieren, da unser Vater/Schwiegervater unerwartet auf die Intensivstation kam. Meine Frau musste unbedingt bei ihm bleiben, deshalb cancelten wir den Flug. Da wir keine Reiserücktrittsversicherung abgeschlossen hatten, baten wir die Singapore-Airlines (Hotline) um Rückerstattung. Nachdem wir aus der Intensivstation einen 3-Zeiler der Airline zukommen ließen, erhielten wir binnen von 1 Woche das gesamte Geld zurückerstattet. Insbesondere die Hotline-Mitarbeiter waren sehr bemüht, hilfsbereit und empathisch. Vielen Dank dafür. Wir werden sicherlich wieder mit der Singapore Airlines fliegen.

Shirkers of responsibility! Avoid like the plague

After Singapore Dropped the route after putting it on general sale, they refused to rebook me as requested and is stated under EU law. They said only a refund was possible. So I accepted my fate and accepted the refund. However because I used a company called Gotogate they won't issue my refund. Gotogate blame Singapore saying they await the money back from Singapore and Singapore blame gotogate. Tbh I think this may be deliberate tactics by both to shirk responsibly. Perhaps Someone should pick up the phone to Gotogate and make it clear they refund passengers money. After all the worlds supposed best Airline is having it's name dragged through the mud? Disappointed...also you should judge a company by the agents it allows to sell it's tickets

UFFICIO PRENOTAZIONI

Avevo necessità di contattare l'ufficio prenotazioni di Milano in merito ad un multi-city. L'orario del volo proposto sul sito, da Siem Reap a Singapore non coincide con il volo in connessione. Se acquisto singolarmente il volo, sono disponibili tutti gli orari, nel multi-city solo quello che non mi permette la coincidenza. L'ufficio prenotazioni +39 0230578860 non esiste. È solo un disco registrato e non esistono mail. Per essere la seconda miglior compagnia al mondo, direi che sul servizio clienti si può fare molto di più

I got scammed

I got scammed! the airline cancelled my ticket without giving me a refund. I contacted several times the support and they refused to send me official messages or even mail about such problems, they would comunicate only via online chat. Stay away from them!

Consumer protection violation

I have just finished an incredibly disappointing experience with Singapore Airlines. I was informed that my initial flight was delayed by approximately two hours, which meant I would miss my connecting flight. Instead of rebooking me on a comparable flight, the airline transferred me to their low-cost partner, Scoot. This substitution seems to violate consumer protection laws, as I had paid for a flight that included in-flight entertainment, complimentary meals and drinks, and access to a power outlet—all of which I did not receive. To add to the frustration, I arrived at my destination more than two hours late. The entire process was completely automated so I had no opportunity to voice my frustration. I feel robbed.

I was given food poisoning on the…

I was given food poisoning on the flight and they have taken zero responsibility. Said it could have been due to stress. It was the only food I ate for 12 hours and can confirm it was from them. Never want to fly with them again. It's been 2 months and only now I'm just getting a response - never fly with them

Krisflyer - poor customer experience

This is feedback regarding Krisflyer team - I have been a loyal member of Krisflyer for over 10 years now, with many years being a Gold status member. I have personally in the past received a 3 month extension to my membership to allow a little bit of extra time to continue to maintain the Gold status. I am also aware of other colleagues and friends who were able to receive this same consideration by Krisflyer in the past to be able to maintain their status. Even though I have flights booked, and Krisflyer agent himself confirmed he couldn't quite fully calculate correctly what the miles of these flights would be, Krisflyer today have not been very customer service minded to allow once again an extension to be able to maintain the status. Whilst I appreciate there are policies, if policies have previously been "broken" and the agent himself confirmed he couldn't accurately determine my miles, how could they not consider? It is super disappointing to know that after many, many years of loyalty to krisflyer & star alliance group that I will now lose my gold status after many many years, especially considering Krisflyer have in the past granted extensions to members. Extremely disappointed by this inconsistency given by Krisflyer!!

Mitarbeiterfehler ausbügeln? Kundenfreundlichkeit? Fehlanzeige!

Wir haben im Dezember 2023 Flüge nach Bali & zurück gebucht ( hin 29.08. und zurück ursprünglich 07.09. - haben es aber umgebucht Rückflug 13.09. ). Am 15.04. haben wir uns Sitze mit Extra Beinfreiheit gebucht und bezahlt. Am 12.06. haben wir dann telefonisch die Flüge umgebucht ( auf 13.09. ) & auch die Sitze mit Beinfreiheit für die Langstreckenflüge. Die Kollegin die am Telefon war bestätigte mir, dass wir auf dem Hinflug Sitze mit Beinfreiheit haben und zusammen sitzen. Auf dem Rückweg wir Sitze mit Beinfreiheit haben allerdings getrennt sitzen. ( Es kamen auch Sitztickets per Mail, so wie die Kollegin am Telefon ankündigte ) Nun heute beim Check in sind gar keine Sitze für den Rückflug gebucht. Ich habe bei der Hotline angerufen und um eine ADÄQUATE! Lösung gebeten - da dieser Fehler nicht bei uns liegt! Uns wurde gesagt, dass von der Kollegin die Sitze nicht gebucht sind und nur noch EIN Sitz mit Beinfreiheit frei sei. Wir sind beide über 1.80m und haben nicht umsonst diese Plätze gebucht und bezahlt! Auf Nachfrage ob man wenigstens den anderen Platz Upgraden könnte ( sogar gegen eigene Bezahlung ) wurde dies verneint. Es kann doch nicht sein, dass selbst gegen Kostenübernahme eines nicht von uns begangenen Fehlers nicht mal ein Upgrade möglich ist, obwohl da Plätze frei sind. Nun mussten wir einen anderen normalen Sitzplatz reservieren und selbst dafür noch 27€ bezahlen. Unfassbar. So einen grottenschlechten Kundenservice habe ich in meiner Lebzeit - und ich fliege wirklich viel - noch nicht erlebt. So etwas unflexibles und Kundenunfreundliches lässt mich wirklich enttäuscht und wütend nun in den Urlaub starten. Wie kann eine solch große Airline so Kundenunfreundlich handeln? Es ist absolut nicht zufriedenstellend und wird eine absolute Quälerei 13 Stunden beim Rückflug eingepfercht zu sitzen. Von einer Airline mit err Größe - und Bekanntheit hätte ich mir doch deutlich mehr erhofft und auch erwartet, wenn ein Mitarbeiter so einen Fehler begeht. Wir werden in Zukunft Abstand von dieser Airline nehmen. Und nach den ganzen Bewertungen sind wir mal gespannt ob unser Gepäck überhaupt mit uns ankommt und wie lecker das Essen wird...

Get the basics right Singapore Airlines!

I have flown with my family with the likes of BA and Virgin and they always endeavour to ensure families sit together. On looking at my booking for one month's time for my first flight on Singapore Airlines, I was shocked to see there were only 4 seats left, at completely different sides of the cabin, meaning our family can't sit together for a 13 hour flight. My children are prone to sickness too. How can they claim to be a family friendly airline when they don't ensure families sit together as a basic and obvious need? Customer service is worst than useless. This will be my first and last time flying with them. Back to BA and Virgin for future holidays.
