Bad treatment and cannot be trusted

Singapore airlines sells you the most expensive tickets if you want to convert your credit cards' points to miles. Be very careful. Their call centre staff hang up on you when you call them to ask why there is a long "wait list" when there are hundreds of seats available. Well of course they want to sell the seat at the highest price.

What a shame

Some meals were inedible, cabin temperature on a 10hr leg from Johannesburg was uncomfortably cold. People on the plane were walking around to socialise or just standing in the aisle without regard to safety. Check-in staff lied and told me that I had been given an aisle seat. Despite pleasant in flight staff, I will try to avoid this company.

Vol retour Singapour/Paris

Vol retour Singapour/Paris. Apres avoir réservé des places spéciales pour allonger nos jambes l'agent d'escale a modifie nos deux sièges sous prétexte que je ne parle pas assez bien l'Anglais. Rien n'est apparu lors de la réservation du siège spécial. Mon ami qui parle anglais a lui aussi été changé de place. L'agent plutôt odieux nous indique que nous serons remboursés, total refus de la compagnie. Il va de soi que deux personnes ont profites de nos sièges sans payer de supplément. Nourriture immangeable en grande partie. Dernière fois que je prend cette compagnie.

SQ have been too desperate

I would give a 0 star if possible. This SQ is getting more and more desperate. After increasing the miles for flights, service have been very poor and bad. I booked a flight and used all miles to pay as they are expiring. After which balance is only a couple of hundreds. After I proceed to pay, a message from my bank card show I pay the full ticket amount. So I tried to contact SQ immediately but I had encountered some difficulties as I was in Korea. So I used the miles to buy my hubby ticket and I managed to speak to a customer service about an hour later. After explaining my intention to use miles to pay was not properly executed. And she advised me on how to cancel the ticket. As I intend then to use my hubby miles for my ticket later. But I received a mail today that the cancellation fee is KRW 207000. There is a lot of better service airlines with more competitive price and services. SQ change flight and cancel flight charges are way too ridiculous. And let alone I booked and inform to cancel within an hour.

Avoid this Airline

After only being given a prawn option as a meal, I stated that I had an allergy to prawns so therefore would accept the tray as I had not made the airline aware prior to taking the flight. The tray arrived with a prawn salad side dish. Appalling customer service both inflight and online. My review however is for the overall standard of this airline which has dropped considerably over the last year or so, therefore if flying economy, would avoid at all costs. Reviews of those in business/first class are unrealistic. As a frequent flyer through work I am now opting for any of the Middle Eastern airlines when possible which are far superior to Singapore Airlines. Really disappointing when I am about to turn to gold frequent flyer status with Krisflyer. Avoid at all costs.

4x voor stoelen betaald, niet gekregen

4x voor bepaalde stoelen betaald, 4 x ander stoelen gekregen, en niet in de zelfde categorie. We willen altijd in het midden zitten, op de 4 personen rij, en zeker niet aan het raam met de 3 personen omdat er dan altijd een vreemde uit moet, of jijzelf over een vreemde er uit moet. Dus 4 x dit wel gehad, terwijl we extra betaald hebben vvoor juist niet deze stoelen.Zonder overleg, zonder uitleg. Dus je betaald voor iets en je krijgt t niet! Nooit meer met Singapore Airlines, en we vragen ons nog steeds af Waarom, en op de heenreis en op de terugreis!

5*....Don't make me laugh

5* airlineDon't make me laugh! In economy you are treated like cattle. Stewards disappear for hours on end. Toilets not cleaned. Food was inedible. Virgin and BA much superior

Booked premium economy from Melbourne…

Booked premium economy from Melbourne to London 30/3/23. On the second leg my wife's seat would not recline and staff were unable to fix it. I spent a lot of money to use a 'premium' service and was offered a SID150 voucher as compensation. I have refused this and fought Singapore Airlines all the way. The fact is I paid for a service that I did not receive and Singapore Airlines has essentially stolen my money through refusing my reasonable request for appropriate cash recompense. I believe there is at heart a serious cultural problem in this airline. They think they are the best but the reality is that their glory days are behind them.

Wonderful airline. Full Stop.

Wonderful airline. We have flown SIA business and first class, 6-7 times over the past two years (long-haul) and absolutely love it. Cannot fault the service and the customer team has always been accommodating, thank you!

Zufrieden

Super freundliches Personal. Es wird auch auf Kundenwünsche eingegangen und bei Fragen zum Bordunterhaltungsprogramm oder ähnliches sind die sehr hilfsbereit. Das Essen an Bord ist völlig in Ordnung Bei den Filmen ist es aber leider sehr schade dass nicht alle Filme deutsch sprachig sind. Sowie findet Nemo oder toy story4 in Englisch und andere Sachen verfügbar sind. Wirklich sehr schade Ich finde. Da besteht Verbesserungsbedarf Aber trotzdem kann man diese Airline empfehlen.

I'm reviewing your website, it is shocking, even to call your customer service centre and be hung up on. Getting back to the webpage, it's too difficult to navigate through. I would love for someone that does not work with Singapore Airlines but has an affiliation with you to try this shocking service and see how they go about booking a return flight. I really wanted to book with you but not this way, I'll seek an alternative, wasted too much time on your page already.

First time with Singapore Airlines and definitely not the last.

From start to finish Singapore airline were excellent. I needed assistance and could not have asked for anything better. Flew business class from Amsterdam to Singapore then and singapore to Sydney. Singapore airport was beautiful and the business class lounge there is the best I have seen. Staff all very attentive, with excellent food and service. We flew on the A350 but from Sydney to Singapore it was the A380. Thought the A380 was uncomfortable and had to sit/sleep at an angle. Minor thing but definitely prefer the A350.

Requested for receipt for my flights…

Requested for receipt for my flights every agents has a different statement regarding on the process. Rude, promise not kept and the worst is they provided a differ time frame everytime I chatted them. Will not use your service again. Just only for a receipt and the process is almost a month.

Une catastrophe cette compagnie. Bagages perdues, malade suite à la bouffe périmée, des transit trop courts, bref je sais pas combien ils ont paye pour avoir " meilleur compagnie 2023" mais ça sera pas le cas en 2024. Le service client est inexistant, on déconseille grandement. Ha oui, ils mentent et prennent les gens pour des anes en plus. ( accusent l'aéroport de zurich pour la perte des bagages alors que dernier traçage est à singapore lol). Honte à eux!!

We flied from Denpansar to Singapore and from Singapore to Germany Frankfurt…

We flied from Denpansar to Singapore and from Singapore to Frankfurt Germany. 18 hours of freezing. I god so sick because of the low temperatures inside the airplane, so many passengers coughing and asking for more blankets including me, i asked for a sore throat tablets!! AND JUST nobody cared to regulate the temperatures. Now i am lying in my bed, completely sick and i can not go to work after 3 weeks of holidays!! It was a disaster experience!!!!

Kein Platz in Economy Klasse.

Kein Platz in Economy Klasse. Ja, ich weiß. Wenn man etwas mehr Komfort möchte muss man eben Premium Economy oder Business buchen. Aber dennoch sollte man auch in der Economy halbwegs vernünftig ans Ziel gebracht werden. Nicht so bei Singapore Airlines. Platz gleich null. Das Essen zu sich zu nehmen ist kaum möglich. Möchte man die Sitzlehne nach hinten klappen, beschweren sich die Passagiere hinter einem. Bin vor 2 Wochen mit Vistara Airlines nach Mumbai in Economy geflogen und hatte gefühlt doppelt so viel Platz. Mein Rat an die Airline: entweder ein paar Reihen weniger in Economy haben oder gar keine Economy Klasse mehr anzubieten. So ist es jedenfalls eine Zumutung. Was in einer Boing 777 unterwegs von Frankfurt nach Singapur.

Bellissima esperienza.

Ho viaggiato qualche anno fa con questa compagnia, Roma-Perth con scalo in Singapore e Perth-Francoforte sempre con scalo a Singapore. Andata in economy e ritorno in Premium economy. Un’esperienza molto bella e rilassante, tutti gli hostess erano gentili, educati e sempre disponibili per qualsiasi cosa, anche parlando poco inglese come me sono sempre riusciti ad aiutarmi con educazione e parecchia pazienza. Il viaggio in economy era abbastanza comodo, ma in premium economy è stato davvero bello, sedili comodissimi, film differenti, cuffie anti rumore e la possibilità di scegliere da un menu differenti pietanze molto buone. Non oso immaginare la Business class. Assolutamente da provare.

Horrible Customer Support

Flying back from Australia to the UK and my 2 year old daughter got moved seats so that me, my partner and daughter were no longer all sitting together. When we went to check in, i queried how a 2 year old was supposed to sit by themselves and they said there was nothing they could do about it because the flight was full and said "She was probably moved to accommodate a child" SHES 2!! Lucking both adult seats were still sat together so after asking the check in desk, help desk and boarding gate with no one doing anything or even caring we just swapped seats so that my daughter was sat with my partner and i was sat alone. After this, due to the stress of departing the airline with a young child and carrying all the bags, i had accidentally left my iPad on the plane. I realized 30 minutes after deboarding when about to board the 2nd leg of the flight. I instantly flagged this to the boarding gate and they said they would put out a message and get someone to board the plane and get it for me but that it may not get back to me in time for the next flight but assured me it would go on the next flight to the UK and get posted back to me. I also informed the lost baggage staff in the UK who then told me to go back to the check in desk and tell them. So i did. The check in desk then said it wasnt for them to deal with and to go to the tickets desk. Luckily, a manager overheard this convocation and asked me to write down all the information (e.g what flight, seat and item description) and said they would get in touch with the Singapore team of Singapore airlines (as they were the London team) and get it posted back to me. After arriving home, i also filled out an online lost baggage report. A couple of days later i got informed that my iPad could not be found and there was nothing i could do about it (Informed by the online baggage report through SATS Baggage) and have still not been contacted by the Singapore or London team with whom i spoke. I know its not the airline or staff fault that i left my ipad on the plane but at evert stage of the process the staff have been incredibly unhelpful in trying to recover my device. This cannot be a rare occurrence for people to leave things on a plane so how is it so hard to get anything back?! Paid over £3000 for return flights to Australia for my family and will never fly with them again after the way we have been treated.
