O'Hare Airport experience: This company purposely does not give you instructions on how to find them by email. It says you can call for a shuttle upon arrival. False. It takes 30 minutes on hold to talk to someone, at which time you will find out (if you can hear and understand them and the long list of instructions) that you need to take the train to the rental car center and find F Parking in order to catch another 20 minute shuttle to their rental location. Upon arriving at the rental car center and Parking Garage F, there is no sign or instruction or anything to indicate that Routes picks up there. After wasting 2 hours on this company, I finally rented a car from someone else. Never Again!!! I promise, it will not be worth whatever $ you think you're saving. They have thousands of negative reviews for a reason. This is not a legitimate company solving a problem for you. This is a company that purposely obfuscates (after you've paid) so that they won't have to provide a service to you. Edited to reply to company response: Their comments were already addressed and refuted in my review. There are no written instructions in the email except a phone number. There is no shuttle pick up at the airport terminals (which you cannot find out before waiting 30 minutes on hold). And they are not located on airport property. My review is specific to O’Hare, and it’s possible that they are better at other airports (though based on reviews, I doubt it).
I haven't receive my $500 deposit and they also tried to charge me another $50 plus on my card. I rented the car on the 11/20/24 to 11/21/24 and I was told to receive my $500 deposit back between 3 to 7 days and now it is December 09/24 and I haven't received none of it. I hope this will not happen to anyone else.

I rented a car at the Vancouver outlet everything went well, the only things I had issues with is the safety deposit was $1500 instead of $500 because I am a Quebec resident and it wasn't clear at the time of booking, and there was no windshield washer. Besides those two issues it was all good and it's hard to beat their price.

Overall experience was good. Rates were super cheap. Pick up process was virtual, some of the documentations couls have been adked and submitted prior to the trip. The credit card terminal was not working so I had to go to a different kiosk but other than that everything was good.
Would rate a zero if I could. The car, and experience at the Denver location was great. We rented , returning the car on Aug 6, 2024. We had a crack on the windshield. We filed with our insurance company, gave them the claim number, and also called customer service and gave them the claim number. The never followed up, and still have me $500 deposit. I have had multiple emails to try to resolve this, including challenging the charge with my credit card- they never responded to the claim from my insurance, and the claim was closed. I cannot get a live person from billing on the phone. Filing a lawsuit against them is next.

Had a booking. Flight was delayed, I called in to change the pick up time and keep in touch. That was fine. An hour and a half later my flight was cancelled. I rebooked the flight for the next day. I still need the car upon arrival so I called to change that booking and was told that I could not just delay the pick up til the next day even though I had paid for 4 days of rental. Not only do I lose the money (because I called in past the original pick up time and they don't adjust times) I paid for the rental, I would have to book all over again. Does that car magically disappear (even though it was booked out) because it wasn't picked up within a few hours? Logic took a big hit today. Rep was not helpful and was angry at me because weirdly, I was upset and trying to find a solution to a costly problem. Basically told too bad for me.
Overall a great experience. The price was economical. Hitasha was a great help. I would suggest that the company send out their rental car pick up qualifications/Documentation after you pay through email, such as needing to have an out of state license and needing to hold 500.00 on the card.
Extremely Disappointing Experience – Avoid This Car Rental Company! I had a very frustrating experience with this car rental service. First off, the rental insurance they offered was outrageously expensive—far higher than what I expected. When I opted to use my own personal insurance instead, I was shocked to learn that they would cancel my reservation entirely, even after I had already paid. To make matters worse, they refused to refund me for the amount I had already paid, leaving me both out of pocket and without a car. This kind of policy is not only unfair but completely unacceptable. Charging such high fees for insurance and then refusing to honor a reservation when I choose to use my own coverage is a blatant money grab. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company at all costs. There are plenty of rental services out there with much better customer service and more reasonable policies.
