Reliance Home Comfort Reviews

never sign a contract with reliance. they raise your bill consistently, will add services to your bill that you don't authorize and give you a hard time giving your money back. buy your own equipment. never rent or get any service from reliance. they are terrible. worst deals ever.

Individual was prompt, polite, efficient

I believe I filled out a review indicating that we were fully satisfied with Jason’s check on our furnace and AC systems. Very satisfied.

Stay far away. Reliance use, dishonest business practices, service Call that was part of the contract service repair or replace at no cost to me ended up. Without my consent authorization placed me into a contract of 10 years. The technician stated that my hot water tank of seven years old was old, which the lifespan of a hotter tank is 15 years. My call was not for replacement of water heater, but rather an issue with the drain. The next day my basement was flooded and found out that they had placed me in a 10 year contract.Placed me in a contract without authorization which is against the law and against consumer protection law. The work order did not have the technicians name operator number or signature. An inspector came and stated that it was a red flag. And that my hot water tank should have not been replaced. A week later I get a welcome package for a 10 year locked in contract and advising me that it’s an automatic direct payment from my credit card which again I did not authorize. Again against the law I’ll be seeing them in court. . They are liars they’re manipulators. They bought the contracts from Simply Smart, and not respecting the contract and they think they can create a new contract at a thin air.

Another amazing experience. Mike (team member # 115728) was courteous, humble and knowledgeable to diagnose the and fix the problem.

Our contact, Justin, was excellent. He told us everything we needed to know. Was very friendly and informative. The installers were also excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. Got the job done when predicted and explained everything.

Came quickly and went above and beyond to find a solution and repair our air conditioner

I just want people to know how scummy of a business they are. Bought my first home recently which had a water heater rental from them. I called them immediately and told them I didn't want it and they removed it for a hefty fee, of course. I just looked at the invoice. The day I bought the home, without my consent, they "opened an account" and charged me $35 for an account set up fee. 2 days later, they charged me $40 for an account closure fee. These are the criminals we are dealing with,

Not happy with installers as thy scratched flooring when removing/ installing furnace . So far contacted sales person , he put me in contact with someone else and so on and on , 3 months down the row and nada! Damage to the floor over $2000 and they offer me $560.00 more less ! They are totally intealisti/irresponsible and really don’t care at all. Please do not use reliance for changing your furnace .Will not recommends to use Reliance to do any services or installations!!

Badest experience ever, if you don’t start your contract, don’t start it, so sneaky. Take care of the term of condition, you say yes over the phone it’s your contract. Sales representative says the installation is totally free but the guy who came @ home add a fees of installation to our file. A lot of sneaky people & ways. A lady called me, she offers me a lot of protections plans by the end of her bla bla bla she said if you don’t called me in 10 days I will apply automatically the protection in your file. I thought it’s a spam and call reliance , they confirmed that it’s one of they phone number & they apologized but imagine the headache & the time that I lost over the phone with reliance in only 4 weeks, can’t imagine how I will continue 10 years of contact. Badest experience ever in my life.

The furnace installers were quick, friendly and very efficient. They went over and above to make sure that our installation, equipement and service was done right.

The employee was very gentle and explained all very well.

Maint service was provided professionally and on time

How on earth does all the other sites give a 1 to 2 and not this one. Worst company, not paying warranty. Stopped working less than a year out! Terrible service.

Our experience was very good as the call centre answered prompted, set up an appointment for a technician to attend and the technician was professional and prompt. Although our issue wasn't fixed at the time, the technician did what he could,

The tech refused to clean out the inside of the air conditioning of debris like leaves. He said it was not his responsibility. But the paperwork that was signed by my partner had verbiage to that end that he cleaned out the unit.

I had an electrician name Shawn and he was exceptional! Went above and beyond to try and resolve my issue and had great customer repor. Highly recommend Shawn for any electrical work or questions!!
