POOR management at Beacon Hill Store

Unsafe and unhealthy working environment for employees with Very Poor management at Beacon hill michael's store. they have goods storage in furnace room with very poor ventillation and force employee to work alone in furnace/storage room.

They just lost $200 dollars

They just lost $200 dollars I just wanted to make the order online and pick up in store, but my order got canceled. So I called the store, they said reorder it again, so I did, but it got canceled again; I called the store again, they said that it seemed to be a problem with the website; called the Michales help line; the lady that anwered said it would take them up to 48 hours to confirm my order information! So I call the store AGAIN, I got transferred and nobody picked up the call, so I hung up and called AGAIN, and same thing, left waiting for 10 minutes after they said they would transfer me to somebody that would help me the second time. Went to Joanns website and found some frames cheaper and I can pick them up in an hour

Sad experience

I used to shop ACMoore for craft supplies but now there is only Michaels. I was there yesterday and was shocked by the disarray, empty shelves and lack of quality and variety of craft items. This was in the Blue Star Ctr in Watchung NJ. No reason to go back. Terrible. One star for a clean bathroom.

Its a shame there is no option for 0…

Its a shame there is no option for 0 stars because that would be my rating. I placed an online order with Michael on September 9, 2020, and was expecting delivery by the third week in September, Today, I called to find out why I haven't received the order and was told the order was canceled since some of the items were out of stock. I never received notice that they canceled the order. I told them I still want the items, but they will not honor the prices from my previous order. I've been on hold for over 30 minutes and then got disconnected while I was waiting for a supervisor to speak with. Worst customer service !

Worst online service ever encountered

Worst online service ever encountered. Will not shop here again. Next time I will shop with DeSerres. Had half my order delivered and half kept in store. Had paid full shipping through PayPal, No help from "Customer Care" Should have dealt with Canadian company from the start!

Terrible online shopping experience.

The online shopping experience is the worst with Michael's. I would never ever recommend anyone to order from this company. I won't be surprised if they become bankrupt in a few years due to their terrible logistics system. They split your order into several parts, which I presume is depending on where the items that are part of your order are located. This leads to many inefficiencies and a waste of your time. You also don't really know which items are processed or completely shipped. Supposedly even if you have the receipt in the box that you received an order with the listed items in it, your items COULD be processing and not shipped. Right now for all I know some of my items are missing. Then you have to wait 5 - 6 days in order for you to even complain and ask for a refund. The online chat representative doesn't even know which items of yours were shipped. This is the stupidest system I've ever seen. I would never, ever recommend Michael's to anyone. Stay away from them online. They are terrible.

I went to michaels in Woodbridge va on…

I went to michaels in Woodbridge va on sunday. I had to buy 2 dmc floss. It took me 30 minutes to find two floss. The store did not have them in numerical order. Then after i finally found the tray i was looking for they were out. They always seem to be out of stock. From now on it will be Hobby Lobby.

Michael's is a good go-to store for a wide variety of needs, including containers, stationary, picture frames, jewelry items, and outdoor decorative items. I am pleased that the store has remained open and continues to have a helpful staff.

Rewards vouchers don't work

I just don't understand the point of rewards vouchers that can't be redeemed. A week ago I went in and they said my $5 voucher could be used because it had a pin. Scanned from my phone just fine. The $10 one with no pin wouldn't work. No pin. The cashier called a manager who manually took the $10 off. I bought so much last week I earned a $20 voucher. Again no pin. I went in today to take advantage of the last day of the big sale. Can't use my voucher because it has no pin. This time the cashier complained about the antiquated registers. She tried to do it manually and it wouldn't work. So frustrated. I'm just going to buy everything from Amazon from now on.

Went to Michael's in Niles Illinois on…

Went to Michael's in Niles Illinois on touhy avenue this afternoon. Line was moving really slow and when I arrived at the register I was surprised that five little bottles of acrylic paint cost me almost $25. Similar size bottles of acrylic paint cost a little over $1.50 at Walmart. Different brand but basically the same thing. I have noticed this before at Michaels where their prices are way too high. Save money and go to Walmart.

I went to 2 different Michaels location…

I went to 2 different Michaels location for Wilton Icing Color- one which informed me they did not have the colors I was looking for so I checked the other store online- which stated they had some in stock. I ordered it online to pick up at the store- went to the store and was told by the cashier that she herself worked on that order, told me to meet her in an aisle, which she wasn't there, went back to the cashier stand, waited for 2-4 customers to be helped, and asked her about the order And as told They didn't have the color I needed. She didn't even acknowledge me, seeing me wait on the side to tell me any information once she found out.

Sad how this chain has declined

l used to love years ago shopping at this store. Over the last several years it has become tacky and very low end. There silk flowers or so called artificial flowers are just horrible. Wreaths everything they just look gaudy and cheap. They used to custom make floral arrangements...now all pre-made tacky stuff from US....I really don't want to see red white and blue wreaths....we are not American....sad very sad. Certainly would not recommend on any level.

Turn around and go to Hobby Lobby.

I'd give these guys 0 stars if I could. The customer service they have is awful. I called the store because my refund hadn't gone through after 11 days of waiting. I was told "we don't know how to help you", with no direction as to what I should do next. So I called corporate and after a 45 minute call, they sent me the wrong thing. So I went into the store again and was told a manager would call me. Never received a call. So I called the store another time and was told, "I don't have time to search through these transactions, you need to call customer care because they can look up your card". I called customer care and they still could not assist me, so they transferred me to to their support team where I waited on hold for 30 minutes. Talk about an awful experience. 15 days later and now I'm calling my bank and reporting them as fraud BECAUSE I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND. I will NEVER be shopping here again in my life. They've lost a frequent customer.

Worst customer service in the history…

Worst customer service in the history of customer service. I recently used a pre-paid gift card to purchase art supplies online to send to a child I know in another state who just lost his mother. I spent 87.00 for a few things, paid with the card and the order was IMMEDIATELY cancelled. I contacted customer service after seeing that the card was indeed debitted for the purchase. I was told they had no idea why the order was cancelled, and that I’d have to file a claim for receiving the money they’d taken. I asked to simply have the order re-submitted so that the kid could at least get the materials I wanted to send. No one would apply the credit to fulfill the order. In the past three days I have spent over five hours on michaels chat lines, also spoken with several people finally through the 1-800 number. NO ONE WILL HELP ME PROCESS THE ORDER, NOR REFUND MY MONEY. Last conversation I had on the phone after being on hold for about 45 minutes, I was abruptly hung up on. This company is absolute garbage. I have never experienced this kind of thing from such a large nationally recognized company. They are truly awful, I will never buy in store, nor online and will MAKE SURE THAT EVERY PERSON I KNOW WILL NEVER PUT THEIR MONEY INTO THIS COMPANY. They are absolutely horrid in their disregard for their customers. I now am out almost $90, the kid I was trying to help with art materials is left in limbo waiting for art supplies that will never arrive, to add to the fact that his mother is never coming back. I would write or call the company again if I thought it would change things, unfortunately I see any further action as futile. Absolute horse poop company. I WILL NOW GLADLY SPEND MORE WITH A REPUTABLE ART SUPPLY COMPANY THAT ACTUALLY GIVES A DAMN ABOUT PEOPLE. MICHAELS CAN SUCK IT.
