The Michael's at 675 Avenue Of The…

The Michael's at 675 Avenue Of The Americas is awesome. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. I really get the sense that they are passionate about art. Every member from the staff on the floor to the cashiers is super friendly and they always recommend the best deals and tell you about coupons. The store has a great selection of art supplies. I've found items that I thought would not be easy to find (such as really big blank canvases!). If you are a beginner artist, this store is highly recommend. The pricing is pretty good, there are always coupons, and the staff will help you find what you need! Also the cashier Lesly was really great last time I visited!

Ordered some supplies on November 27

Ordered some supplies on November 27, 2020 and did not receive them until December 18. I called customer service several times and would be told it was in transit. I ended up going out an buying the items at another store. I will never order online from Michaels again!

stolen money

very simple purchase, some crafts for kiddo for Christmas, purchased was charged full total, the next day I get an additional charge for 40 $ , call customer support and they let me know it was a holding charge til the products ship, I have already paid the total, why did this charge go through, why did this company overdraft my bank account for a purchase that was already paid in full? I think the statement " someone in finance will call your bank and work this out " is a complete lie, they stole my money they complicated my life during a trying time, and I regret spending even 1 dollar with this company.

Been trying to get a Cricut Maker for…

Been trying to get a Cricut Maker for several months...they never have them in stock it seems. Two weeks ago we went and low and behold they had tags on the shelves saying to take them to the front counter to pick up the machine...nope. Not to be had. They said try calling next time. So today we called and the associate said yes they had three machines right behind the counter. We asked him to make sure and he assured us they were there. We arrived 10 minutes later only to be told ‘sorry we don’t have those in stock at this time. The manager apologized and said the computers only showed what was in the system in the morning. The associate we spoke to was AT the front counter. Poor customer service.

I have had THE WORST customer service…

I have had the worst customer service experience with Michaels online ordering. DO NOT DO IT. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. TRY ANY WHERE ELSE. I asked for a refund, they sent a replacement. I ordered pots, they all came broken. I called to cancel an order 5 minutes after placing it (their website says you have an hour to cancel) and the customer service rep said I couldn't cancel because it had already shipped. I said there was no way since I put the order in 5 mins ago and he said because it's in their system as processed there is no way to cancel. WHAT??? You can't change something in your system 5 minutes after it's entered into the system???? For a corporation as large as theirs, they have absolutely terrible customer and shipping service policies. Also the number listed on their site (1.800.Michaels) is not the right number, it's one number too long and it should be 1.800.Michael - which is the right number. WHAT KIND OF COMPANY GETS THEIR OWN NUMBER WRONG ON THIER WEBSITE???? WHO IS RUNNING THIS SHIP AND HOW?

Ordered 3 got 2 items

I ordered 3 items on line and only received 2. I was sent an email stating that I would have a second box but it hasn't shown up yet and on line it said it was delivered.. I have a feeling that they sold out of the item. So, I'm in limbo waiting for the package or getting a refund.

Michaels Rewards Program Rip off

Michaels is not forthcoming about how rewards are earned. It is a deceptive program. The rewards you do get expire without warning.

No items but keeping my money!

I ordered items online due to Covid and not being close to a store for Christmas projects on 11/8. I received a few of them all mailed separately which seemed very odd since they were paying for shipping. Now at 12/12 I still haven't received the remaining items but no time to do the crafting I had planned. And Customer Care just says wait. Can't get a refund so at this point they stole from me like another review I read. Not a great loss but enough to make me never go near Michaels again. Used to like them but now I will look elsewhere and for a company that knows how to handle mail order better. Not a good experience.

I can’t believe how bad my two curb… not mount

I can’t believe how bad my two curb side pickups were handled. The 1st one I went in because someone parked in the posting stall. They handed me a bag and nothing was even mine. She went back and grabbed my bag. Once I got home more than 1/2 my stuff was not in the bag. I had to go all the way back just to get my items to finish my projects. The 2nd time I ordered, I got my confirmation that morning but when I got there to get out they were saying they were have electronic issues. I asked the lady that I have already paid for it and it should just be in a bag. She was very rude and so unprofessional. She finally asked me what my order # was and my name. She can me out and handed me a bag, it bag wreaths in it so I thought it was mine. While waiting for this lady me and another customer were talking and could not believe How rude this stand in manger was. I told her that I have been on the store a few times and each time she was always rude or acted like you were stupid or you didn’t exists. I actually worked so this store at one time and I can’t believe that the true manager lets her treat customers like she does. I truly lost my happy attitude when I see her. It’s like she is a negative cloud that wonders some spitting on people. I know what customer service means and how it brings customers back to the store. I got reviews back on me at least one a week. I knew how to treat people and make them Feel important. I have spent over $300 on supplies for my wreaths, flower arrangements etc this year and with the way things have gone with Michael’s o am wanting to shop else where. This really disappoints me as I have always shopped at Michael’s and that of why o wanted to with them. If the lady that thinks of customers as an inconvenience I won’t be the only one changing and Michael will start losing more customers and word of mouth gets around as well.

Poor customer service

First associate flat out ignored my wife as she tried to ask her a question to see if they had a product.we're trying to give you money and just stare at your circular.we decided to just checkout so we wait in the line then a cashier is calling for us to come down before the woman has left the register.Not sure what she doesn't understand about the social distancing, there's no reason to have us crowd the woman. We go to the register, cashier who called us down then starts having a conversation on her headset while we're just awkwardly standing there since we were called down. We decide to ask this associate about the product who calls across to the first one we tried who snaps back that they don't have it. If you're a brick and mortar store you really shouldn't have the rude ones up front as we really could get things cheaper online most of the time. We just paid for the item we had and left, was very clear we were inconveniencing them. Lakewood, wa store#2739

Michaels policies are crazy! Stole MONEY!

Michaels policies are crazy! I made an online order for $76 and immediately received an email stating my order was canceled. I checked my bank account and saw the money had been debited! I called their "customer service" number which is awful! The first person, "William" basically said he didn't know why it was canceled. He did not help at all. He stated we would get our money back within 7 business days! I eventually asked to speak to a manager which took a while to connect. The guys name is "Phil" and he was so unprofessional it felt like a joke. There is no help to be seen! Michaels STOLE my money for a week! How can a business charge you without knowing they have items in stock. How can they charge and THEN check into the order. What a rip off! Last time i shop here! Maybe this is why a ton of the stores are closing!

Safe shopping

I was in one of your stores in Arizona today, where the covid is running rampant and your stores DO NOT WIPE COUNTERS OFF AFTER CUSTOME, WEAR GLOVES, OFFER SANITIZER FOR CUSTOMERS HANDS. I will not go into your stores again until you start doing some serious thought to what is going on in the country right now. I work in a store in Arizona and we ask every customer who comes in store to sanitize there hands. They are trying to keep customers and employees safe

MICHAELS IN HOWARD COUNTY MD

MICHAELS IN HOWARD COUNTY MD . . . COVID CESSPOOL! DO NOT ENTER IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH! Two customers standing behind us in checkout. One not wearing a mask; the other with mask under nostrils. We asked them to socially distance and pull up/put on their masks. They refused and became verbally abusive. We asked for a manager. After many minutes an employee came up from the back and asked the women to properly wear masks. THEY REFUSED! The employee told us that they could not force the women to wear masks. I left the store, leaving my wife in line. I called the Howard County MD Health Department. They advised that calling the non-emergency police number for the county should have been done. After the fact, no report can be filed. The Howard County Health Department advised that I call Michaels Corporate Office today. A very nice woman called me back and told me that they could do nothing to enforce the mandate but that employees are stationed to advise and hand out masks. None of this was happening in the store. NONE OF THIS IS GOOD ENOUGH! The women should have been told to leave the store. The Howard County MD Health Department is aggressive in enforcing the mandate and have closed other retail stores in Howard County for violations. I will NEVER go into a Michaels again and will take this as far as I can. In the meantime, no matter how important decorating your door, lawn or tree is to you, order online from a company that supports your health.

It is with great pleasure I write this…

It is with great pleasure I write this review. This past week I was up in Rockland MA visiting a friend. Together we went to your store in Hanover MA. I see from the receipt, it is store #9856. While there were many pleasant customer reps in the aisles who were very helpful the best came at the end of our shopping adventure with our cashier, Anisah. What a fabulous customer rep she was ... friendly, company focused, professional, a fabulous multi tasker and just sweet. When asked if we could give her a tip, she thanked us profusely but said it was the store's policy that she could not accept one. Please, we ask of you, to let Anisah know that her special, over the top friendly service meant the world to us.

Ordered yarn on November 22 online to be shipped and delivered within 7 days. After constantly looking for information on order - status is that as of Dec 2 UPS was notified of pending shipment. That is the last status update. Will NEVER order again from “Michaels. Their competitors so much more customer friendly

Had a wonderful experience at the Deer…

Had a wonderful experience at the Deer Springs North Las Vegas,Nevada location 12/5/2020. I priced matched some items today and my transaction was a little complicated and it was very busy. Sales associate “ George “ and Manager “Alejandra” was so helpful with explaining the policy and making sure my transaction was correct. They were extremely Friendly and expressed interest in my crafting project. I love this location and will visit again soon!
