I’ve been going to Michaels for just a…

I’ve been going to Michaels for just a few years now, I love how much of a selection they have on so many items, but a lot of things just seem to be way too overpriced. When I shop I tend to spend a minimum of $100, sometimes up to $250 easily, about every month and a half or two months. I buy enough that the cashiers always joke around about the amount of products I have in my cart. But yet there’s never any rewards money, (maybe $5) or any other discount to use as help towards the loyalty of spending a lot of money at this business. I’ve asked and never got a direct answer as to why. I may just do internet shopping from now on, but it’s nice to physically see the product in front of me. They always have a 20% off coupon, but it’s always only for one regularly priced item.

Paid for 2 day shipping for 17.95 on November 29 and still haven’t received it in December 5. Days it will be here on December 8. Not happy with orders i have to put out and rely on the materials i need

First their website wouldn't process…

First their website wouldn't process Paypal. Chat rep told me to call my bank, basically just blowing smoke. While they say they ship, website provided no choice. Decided to pick-up, but was told it wasn't ready yet. Placed the order at 9:30, nine hours later it still isn't ready. If you can't fulfill your orders, don't say you can. Now, I'm thinking the merchandise will be crap too. I wish I had read these reviews before I wasted so much time. Never again. Edit: I got my order today. It took 24 hours to fill, but in the end, it was okay. The things I bought were nice and the price was really low. If they just stated that it would be ready the next day after you order, there wouldn't be a problem.

I had the worst customer service…

I had the worst customer service experience ever at Michaels in Valley Center (Owings Mills, Maryland). I ordered cooling racks for pickup. I arrived at the store at about 12:15. Setup for curbside delivery (they have no specific parking spots like other stores). I waited until 12:35 and decided to go in to find out why the wait was so long. I asked the cashier and her response was I will be out shortly. My response was, I've already been waiting over 20 minutes and I left and returned to my vehicle. I checked the time, it was 12:37. I waited another 15 minutes and called customer care. Explained to him what I had experienced. He called the manager, got back to me and I asked him to stay on the phone. He asked several times if someone had come out. This went on for about 10 minutes. He called again and was told someone would be out shortly. He stayed on the phone and kept asking me if anyone was coming out of the store. My response, only customers. I waited with him on the phone for about another 10 - 15 minutes. He apologized over and over again about how I was being treated. At that point, I told him I'm done and I am leaving. I told him to have a great day and hung up. Once I got home I reached out to their chat line, no resolution. They want me to back to the store to get my merchandise and will not deliver. I guess the employees have all control while they treat customers horribly. I used curbside because I did not want to go into a crowded store during the pandemic. 45 minutes of my life I will never get back. If I could give zero stars they would get it.

i ordered garland online to match…

i ordered garland online to match garland i had purchased. Then received a text that it was in at the store so went to pick it up. The employee comes to my car with the wrong item for curbside pick up. It turns out they did not have what I ordered so substituted which obviously did not match what I have. Why was the correct item not sent to the store for pick up. Then i had to go in to return. Terrible

Poor Customer Service and Website! STAY AWAY!

I purchased a white pre-lit Christmas tree on Black Friday. I recieved an email today saying that my order had been cancelled because the tree is now out of stock. I called customer service and both representatives said they understood my frustration and that it is known that their website does a poor job of showing inventory. Why would I be able to purchase something, get a confirmation number but then be sent an email 4 DAYS later if I can't buy the item?? Get it together, Michaels! A $15 gift card to your store doesn't help!

I just left the Michaels Store at 808…

I just left the Michaels Store at 808 6th Ave. and had a great customer experience. I purchased a Cameo Pro online via the Michaels website, but the machine didnt work properly, I was told that I could take it back to a brick and mortor store and get a full refund. Initially I went to another Michaels to get the return but had problems, they treated me like they didnt trust me, then I went to the store at 808 Columbus, the manager asked to see all my reciepts and checked the box to make sure all was there, then verified a few other things, then refunded my card in full including the shipping cost, I should have gotten her name, she was African-American about 5 feet 6 inches tall wearing glasses I think, she thorough but fair and did what it says should be done via info. on website.

I was just shopping at your Scottsdale, AZ store located on Talking Stick Way. There are 3 team members that I would like to thank for their excellence in making sure that I found the special kind of tape that I needed. Horrible!! Liars & No help!!

Horrible!!! Ordered tree on 11-17-20 to beat Black Friday rush. They never shipped my item. I Watched the order sit at warehouse for a week and not move. Called Michael’s and said ship new tree. They said I needed to wait and call back on 11-30-20 even though tracking showed it sitting at warehouse. I said it’s now Black Friday weekend and what happens if it sells out. They said it won’t and nothing they can do until Monday November 30th (Cyber Monday). I called today 11-30-20. I was told the tree is out of stock and they can only send me a refund. Michaels Stores Suck!!!!!!

RACIAL PROFILING

Micheals in Victorville, CA.....I approached the employee asking for a price check. She directed me to a scan machine. She followed behind me so close had I turned around she would have bumped into me. This is the same white lady that sees me regularly. I have heard other complaints about her from others. While I was using the machine I could feel her behind me trying to look into my purse. How I know this is because when I turned she had to quickly jump back. I looked at her like "what are you doing"? I then handed her the item I scanned because I didn't want it. I didn't have to stretch my arm either I probably smelled her breath. Yes that close! She still remained behind me then walked to the front of the store and started talking on her radio. Before I knew it, I had another employee at my every move. This is not the first experience I have had and I know others that have experienced the same treatment. I will go as far as to say this is racial profiling. Will I shop at Micheals again, I doubt it. Joanns employees don't behave this way. I think they understand how to treat customers. Micheals needs to be trained to stop profiling or they will get sued. dI am ready too. This is getting out of hand.

I would have rated it 0 stars, but I can't. This was my first time ordering online from Michaels. I ordered a Christmas gift for my daughter. It was delivered via Doordash to a lobby instead of my apartment. So, I was told. I thought they would use Fedex or UPS. Although I was told I would be refunded, I am very disappointed because I really wanted to give this gift to my daughter. Now I will have to see if it is available for pick up at the store.

Misleading signage!!!

The only reason that I give this store a two instead on one is because the store clerks were nice and very professional. I will warn folks to check the price on every item when they reach the register. I paid more than double for a gingerbread house kit and a photo collection box than the huge signs indicating the prices. I should’ve checked the receipt before heading home. When I called the store in Biddeford, Maine, the manager basically repeatedly told me that I should’ve read the fine print. I told her the signage was misleading and she reminded me that I should’ve read the fine print and not all of the houses on the huge display were on sale. She told me there was no sign over the photo boxes. I told her that it was the first thing you see when you walk in the store. She said she knew where the boxes were and there’s no sign. I then said their displays were extremely misleading and she should fix the problem and apologize. At that point, she accused me of not allowing her to speak. She did a lot of talking. I got a good lesson on how to not speak to people who support your business. Unbelievable!

I ordered curbside pick up yesterday at noon. I called this morning to get status update. I was told I should hear something soon. I was hoping to avoid having to go inside the store but it appears that will not be an option since curbside closes at 6pm. What's the point in offering same day pick up?

If there could be a rating of 0 I would…

If there could be a rating of 0 I would literally rate this store a 0. For the reason of my rating is because I made an online purchase that was supposed to be same day delivery. Long story short I never received any tree & apparently we are lying. So I had to buy 3 trees to get one Christmas tree since their support staff has no communication at all. I wish there could be a higher rank person that could do something for me. I asked for a refund & I couldn't even get a refund. So this store literally stole 300 dollars from me. I personally will never purchase from this store ever again. The experience was horrible & I never want to experience anything like it again. Be careful everyone when purchasing here.
