Cost of shipping?
I need a hobby and can't afford to pay Michaels outrageous shipping costs.
Michaels Stores has room for improvement based on customer feedback. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and expensive.

I need a hobby and can't afford to pay Michaels outrageous shipping costs.
Horrible! First time I visited on-line wanted to order picture frames, every item I placed in my card was FREE shipping over $49 and my order was over $150 for different color frames, however after entering all my information at the check out, they were charging $50 for delivery! Called customer service and they couldn’t help either because it did not have item number??? I did NOT order because they where charging me for free delivery items! Site is misleading customers! Very poor service and I’m sure product will be the same poor quality since they’re such unprofessionals and misleading customers to rip them off for poor quality items they false advertise! Never ever I will go near Michael’s ever! Do not waste you money!
Thanks to Gladys who helped me on Nov 17, 2020, in the Coquitlam branch. She was fast, supportive, and polite. However, we couldn't find the stuff on the earnings shelf. It needs to be supplied. It was my second time going to the store, and couldn't find them. Regards,
No Customer Service!!! They sent wrong product said they would ship correct product---never happened. Waited for 40 minutes to be connected....that never happened either. ALL CONNECTIONS ARE IN PHILLIPINES--NO SERVICE AT ALL!!
Horrible experience I ordered a unstick xmas tree at 9:10 am takes the money from my account then a half hour later I get a email saying it was cancelled with no explanation why so called CS probably in India somewhere tells me it’s out of stock and now have to wait 3-7 business days to have it put back !!! Ridiculous unacceptable never order online and pick up in store evidentially they don’t update stock info before they take your money will never shop at the Warwick RI Michaels again and will tell everyone I know !!!!
Having picked up my order yesterday, you just need to stop emailing me to pick it up. Everything else great.

I shop at our local Michael's Store when I need something specific to getting a project done for a customer. On this particular visit, I was looking for a pompom maker. I checked out the website and our store had exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price. I added the store to my list of shopping stops, was greeted by 3 of the staff. I showed the staff what I was looking for, they told me exactly where it was located. I have always had great service at this store. Thank you for the excellent service.
There was a family of 3 NOT wearing masks. When I asked the cashier about it she said that Michael’s was not an imperative store and did not require masks. It will be a while before going back.
Bad service bad experiences rewards stink better to shop on line
Michaels cancelled an order of my and shipped only a wire that I had no use for without the wreath frame. They then wouldn't post my negative review. I called customer service who did nothing for me. Told me to then spend more money and return the wire. Lousy company to due business with. I am in quarantine because my daughter who is nurse is fighting there virus. This was one thing I was going to do with my grandchildren. I will never do business again with this company!
Stopped taking competitor coupons. Michaels lost $40 in sales today because they wouldn't take it.
Ordered online attempted to take advantage of curbside pickup due to I am a senior. Signed in on App waited over seven minutes and no one came. I called store and the employee said to come in. I did. Why advertise curbside if it is not available? Michaels’s you must do better.
I placed an order for over $300 and the money was immediately taken from my bank account. Soon after my order was canceled but they still had my money. It has been several days now, I still don't have a refund, and have spent several hours on the phone and in chats with their "customer service" no one will tell me why it was cancelled only that it will take 3-7 business days to have my money back.
Horrible service. I ordered a Christmas tree online and 5 days after confirming my order, they sent me a cancellation notice saying that it was no longer in stock. This is unacceptable! It doesn't take 5 days to know whether or not an item is in stock. Very poor service.
Poor customer service. Tried to exchange a frame that was on sale (buy one get one free). The supervisor didn't know how to do it. I returned a $40 frame and wanted to purchase a $40 frame. He gave me $25 for my return and then wanted to charge me $40 for the exchange. We were ignored when we tried to explain. Then the supervisor asked if he could help us with anything else in a sarcastic tone. Won't shop there again.
I went to Michaels store today in Lakeland, Florida and there was alot of people without masks on! I'm a Senior citizen and I wear a mask to protect myself and others. After I left there I went to Hobby Lobby. They require masks!! I will take my business there from now on!!!!
We have endured a constant barrage of SPAM from Michael's with at least one email message a day and more on most days. Most also offer discount coupons. In an uncharacteristic move yesterday, I went to Michael's to use one of the coupons. The coupon states very clearly "all custom framing". When we picked the frame we liked, we were told "Sorry, that frame isn't included. I don't know why, but that frame style isn't eligible for the discount." She couldn't explain why it didn't include 'all' but for some reason it didn't... We found it offensive and deceitful...
They are always very helpful I love to explore this store. I can always find something new to try.
I like Michael's I shop there every time that I can it's fun for me.
