Teia made my day!

I have been struggling with depression lately and decided to take up a new hobby of crocheting. I came into my local Michaels as a beginner and was helped by a wonderful employee named Teia at the checkout. She informed me that she had been crocheting for years when I told her I was planning on teaching myself how to do it. Teia was friendly, helpful, and even wrote her personal phone number on my receipt and let me know I could contact her if I needed any tips on crocheting in the future. I left Michaels in happy tears at the genuine kindness I experienced today. Teia, you made my day!

I placed an order for pick up

I placed an order for pick up, then realized one of the items was being shipped. I went back in to the website to cancel that part of the order. Though it said cancellations must be done within 15 minutes of placing the order, there is no easy system to do that. They ask for the order number, but no where does it give you the option to cancel! By the time I gave up and tried calling instead, I was unable to cancel. Lucky me, now I get to pay more money for shipping than the product itself!! You need a better system Michaels!!!

Linden Store

went to the linden store in NJ. seriously understaffed for closing shift. only 1 cashier, 1 sales person and a manager i think? poor girls. the girl with the red and blue hair was really helpful and sweet. Cashier too. Ill definitely be coming back, so glad you guys moved in!

Received wrong item

So I ordered a coat rack, and the box came. It was addressed to me, but inside there was a completely different item worth half of what I ordered, and a packing slip for that item with another persons name and address on it. Honestly I’ve been ordering things online for years and I’ve never had this happen once. Reading the reviews from other customers this is not a one off thing, it apparently happens often. I called customer service, and apparently their policy on this is to make the customer print out a return label and then have to return the package. I feel like it wasn’t my fault, I shouldn’t have to do this. In any case, I don’t have access to a printer. I was a little annoyed at this, and the guy I was speaking to transferred me to someone else, who just sent out the item I was supposed to receive. He gave me the option of a refund or that, and I still wanted my item so I chose that. I feel that should be the primary option, your customers shouldn’t have to do anything when it’s not their fault that someone at the packaging facility screwed up.

The Britton Plaza store in Tampa, Fl never has decorative paints in stock. Why is that? This has been the situation for over a year. I have to shop at a different Michaels for my paints.

Ordered a modular tower through the…

Ordered a modular tower through the website and put it aside to put together when I felt up to the task. Low and behold it was broken. Called customer service to have them send me just the broken part. Nope you need to pack the entire thing back up and return it to a store and wait 4week for a new one. I am done shopping with Michael's.

I was a regular Darice customer. Micheal's closed Darice & Consumer Craft & ruined my business. I CANNOT BUY WHAT I NEED. WHERE did all the products go? Everything simply vanished! Shame on you. Bad job folks!

The Orange City

The Orange City, Florida is lacking in customer service. The employees don't know anything about crafting whenever I go in there. I needed help the other day and not one employee could help me or offer me assistance. Then on top of that they never have anyone working the registers and so I have to wait for a long time just to get checked out. I know that Brooke one of the managers needs to know how to teach the employees how to do stuff. She was so rude with one of them I couldn't believe that she spoke to her in that way. Sky one of the employees that was on the store floor cared more about gossiping than acknowledging that customers needed help. That store is in need of some serious retraining

I visited Michaels store #3930. The checkout gal, Breanna was very friendly and cheerful. This makes for a positive and pleasant experience shopping at Michaels. More checkout personal should follow her lead .

While I find this store to be lacking in some items, the friendliness of one employee in particular makes it okay, Javier is a super friendly and extremely helpful young man and is truly an asset to your company (Northgate shopping center store # 8812)

Horrible horrible experience

If I could I’d score in negative stars! I purchased a significant amount of products on-line, I received an email confirmation of products purchased, less than 3 minutes later I received an email that my order was canceled, I checked my bank account and saw that Michael’s hit my bank for the purchase amount after I received the cancellation notification. I called Michael’s and was told that it would take 3-7 days for my money to be refunded.....UNACCEPTABLE! I was then told that they would send me a code authorizing my bank to refund the money. Folks we are still in a COVID world where just going the bank isn’t a happening thing. I called the bank and they needed Michael’s to be on a conference call with the bank and me. So with my bank on the line I called Michael’s again, explain it all to a dude that English wasn’t his primary language . In order to get my money back I had to spend almost an hour on the phone......ridiculous. What makes Michael’s think it’s ok to cancel an order but still take your money then hold it for 3-7 days. Poor poor poor customer service and a horrible experience

I recently ordered We R Memory Keepers®…

I recently ordered We R Memory Keepers® Spin It™ Water-Slide Paper Color: Transparent Item No: 10587726 in 2 sizes from Michaels I checked for home delivery as I live over 30 miles from a Michaels store and I paid for home delivery, however I received an email stating my order was available for pickup NOT good when I contacted them they said that I had needed to check delivery for each item and the only way to resolve was to cancel the ordered I did and now I still need the product and I am waiting for the to refund my money.

Never buy a Cricut from Michael’s

I bought a Cricut from Michael’s and the Bluetooth never worked, so I called the very next day to get a refund, however, apparently they don’t give refunds on Cricut Machines regardless if it works or not. Be careful what you buy on Michael’s cause they surely scammed me, and based on other reviews I’ve read it seems like all Cricut Machines they’re selling at MICHAEL’S are faulty. You were warned, have a good day.

Vero beach, fl HANDS DOWN THE BEST
