Cancelled items + same day delivery = total rip-off

This is the absolute worst customer service I've encountered in a long time. I placed an online order, and paid for the same-day delivery, since I needed my items immediately. Unknown to me, half of my order was cancelled. Did they contact me? Maybe a call or a text? No. Instead, they sent me half of what I needed, charged me $10 for the delivery, and only told me that I got a partial order AFTER it was delivered. That notice was sent via email! Customer service was useless. The chatbot can be prompted to get a real human, but you'll find that they are useless won't offer solutions. The agent who I talked to was not helpful and ended the chat without any resolution. Total joke! If you're considering shopping at Michael's and are counting on them to come through for you in a pinch - think again. They will not. They will leave you high and dry and won't even bother to tell you. If you need craft supplies - find your local shop. I've spent my last dollar at this store. Never again. Buyer beware.

I love shopping at your store

I love shopping at your store, I like to decorate cakes for friends, and would love to see a larger variety of supplies, especially food dies and cake decorations like cake toppers for birthdays, anniversary special occasions. These are hard to find.

I found while visiting this store I was guided with a friendly manner and helped when needed. There was a very rude person in front of me at check out that I'm not sure I would have handled as well as the gentleman at the cash.

I went it a San Antonio Michael’s…

I went it a San Antonio Michael’s (Alamo Ranch Shopping Center). Shortly after arriving and putting a few things in my cart, an employee starting following me. I needed to use their restroom so I did, when I came out the employee started following me again. If I stopped she stopped around the corner as I moved she moved. After I had what I was going to buy in my cart I proceeded to stand in line and wait for my turn at the register at which time I notice the employee watching me. So I started taking pictures of her. I because she was making me very uncomfortable. Like I stole something. I have NEVER experienced racial profiling until today. I own my own business in which I shop at Michael’s for my supplies but I will never again go into that one again. By the way I spend Hundreds of dollars at Michael’s and my daughter works at a different one. At least my daughter would never treat people that way.

MARK, MANAGER ATTEMPTED AN ASSAULT AND BATTERY ON ME, A CUSTOMER.

On March 25, 2021, at Michaels store on Tamiami Trail east Naples fl, the store Manager, Mark, came running out of the store LUNGING AT ME to ATTACK/ASSUALT ME PHYSICALLY!!!! IF IT WASN'T FOR MY SMALL DOG THAT I HAD WITH ME, WHO STARTED BARKING AT HIM, I WOULD HAVE BEEN PUNCHED AND PUSHED ONTO THE CEMENT SIDEWALK!!!! HIS ANGER WAS OUT OF CONTROL. I WAS IN TOTAL FEAR FOR MYSELF AS WELL AS MY DOG! THIS HAS BEEN REPORTED TO THE CORPORATE OFFICE. I HOPE THEY FOLLOW WITH AN INVESTIGATION, SO I CAN FILE A REPORT WITH THE COLLIER COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, AND CHARGE HIM WITH ASSAULT AND BATTERY ON A PERSON OVER THE AGE OF 65 YEARS OLD- WITH A DISABILITY STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS STORE. IT NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED. IT APPEARS THAT HE WAS HAVING AN INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE YOUNG FEMALE EMPLOYEE WHOM I WAS HAVING A DISCUSSION WITH. A FELONY CHARGE WILL BE HIS CHARGE!

I absolutely love Michaels

I absolutely love Michaels for the products and the service, but, they should have Paypass. I had to return home to pick my wallet because i had only my cell phone and Google Pay with me.

Great experience

Great experience. I went looking for angelus leather paint and was unable to find it. Idk If y’all just didn’t carry it or I simply couldn’t find it. Other then that the team members were great and the energy in the store was phenomenal. Y’all have regular acrylics paints so I plan to return for those. But if y’all are are able to attain angelus leather paint. Micheals would be the only art store I would shop at. The rockwall location is great.

Excellent customer service

My daughter and I went to the Hiram location, in search of items for a paint night. We spoke with an employee named Sarah who was very, very informative and told us about current promotions in the store. She gave my daughter excellent tips on materials she could use as a graphic designer. Sarah assisted us on the floor as well as at the check out register. Her customer service skills are excellent.

Would not accept our check

Would not accept our check. How embarrassing. We have written over 9000 checks without a problem. I took the information to my bank which is key bank. They indicated this was not the first time Michaels scanner rejected checks. They lost a huge sale. We went down the street to Hobby Lobby and had no problem with the same checkbook.If I could give Michaels no stars I would.This happened at Michaels at Dayton Mall Ohio. Would not recommend this Michaels.Manager should be fired. No Apology.

It was WONDERFUL discovering Ashland…

It was WONDERFUL discovering Ashland silk flowers and a grapevine wreath on sale at Michaels Stores! I designed a wreath for the front door of my home. My garden contains lots of diverse colored roses and I wanted the wreath to complement the colors in the landscape. Also, I LOVE the selection of silk flowers that Michaels Store's carry - they look beautiful and real!

I brought three prints to Michaels to…

I brought three prints to Michaels to be matted and framed. There was a sale for 60% off selected frames. With the associates help, I selected one of those frames. We discussed matting and she suggested a reverse in color from what I had chosen. Seeing as she was the expert, I went with her advice. When she began ringing up the sale, I reminded her of the 60% off. When everything was calculated, it was over $800. These prints were 5X5 inches. I asked her if she included the discount and she asked, Oh, did You want that? It then came down to about $300. She recommended their hanging system and said it was very easy to use. Thirty dollars for each print. I agreed. A week later, I hadn’t heard from Them. I called and was told that while installing the hanging system on one of the frames, the frame cracked. Took another week to finally get them. When they were taken out of the wrap, I was struck by how grotesque they were. These were prints of a heart, a rib cage and a lower spine wrapped in roses. The frame was black, her suggestion. I had asked for white to be the predominant matting color. She suggested red. What it ended up looking like was something that belonged in a brothel. She said she could reverse it but I would have to wait. I took them home. The hanging system came with a Set of supplies to attach to The frame. Out of three, only one set was complete One was missing items. The other was missing all together. I was able to hang them as I would without the $90 spent on their hanging system. Finally got them up and I notice all the glass is smudged. From the inside while framing. I am so disgusted with Michaels for Their absolute lack of quality in every aspect of the framing. Will Never use them again.

Just want to say this was my first visit to Michaels. Because Kimmie D, store #7761 was such a welcoming customer service professional that I will be returning. Thanks for making me feel welcome not only to Brooksville but to Michaels as well.

My 8 year old grand-daughter and I

My 8 year old grand-daughter and I visited the Michaels' at the Dorman Centre in Spartanburg,SC because she needed a crafted shirt made for a Glow Party at school the next day.As soon as we walked in,I was a little over whelmed by how big the store was,and being a Paw-Paw,I somewhat depended on my grand-daughter's expertise on crafts and such to get me through this dire time. Then came along Denesha...a Michaels' employee,to the rescue.With her warm smile she did not hesitate to ask if I needed help. She directed us to the EXACT isles where our items were located that she thought we may need.(HUGE store). We were in and out in no time.I just love one 🛑 shopping! Thanks again,Denesha.. You made my day.(shirt and party was a success)!Michaels' had everything we needed!!

defective cabinet

I bought a cabinet to store things in and on the very top there were 2 holes bored into it that weren't supposed to be there. It took hours to put all the drawers together so couldn't take it back.

I am disappointed that the stock is…

I am disappointed that the stock is minimal in the yarn department. None of what I have been searching for for the past 2 months. When shopping using the app during lockdown..... I couldn't buy sale items that were available in my store because it was in store only. Need to up date that soon!

I generally enjoy visiting the store in Indian Lakes, TN There is rarely anyone on the floor to help and the checkout lines are long, but the staff is pleasant and try to be helpful. My issue is with your rewards program. Even though I signed up originally in store, I can never access my account or my rewards to use the rewards. I get error messages constantly. It seems to be designed as a "carrot". I finally deleted the app. In store personnel have limited knowledge as to how to help and seem genuinely perplexed as to why I am having issues. Although I like to shop the store, there are other places with similar merchandise. I only have so much time to waste fooling around to access my "points"
