Do not use his mobile network operator as the customer service is disgraceful. I amwaiting for 2 hours to talk with a human agent online. I need a replacement for my sim card for 1 week already, I am not able to use it at all as the sim is damaged and is not working in any phone.
Quick delivery
I was charged £5.04 for just 0.15GB of data, despite having a spending cap set specifically to block any usage beyond intended purchased bundles and services. I was told multiple times that the cap would prevent this, but it clearly failed. When I called to complain, the agent was dismissive, inconsistent, and refused to acknowledge the issue at first. I was only able to get a complaint registered after I insisted repeatedly. I was told I'd get a resolution in 24–48 hours — it’s now been several days and still nothing. I’ve contacted Lycamobile both via phone and email, and I’m still waiting for proper closure. The experience has been exhausting, and it’s shocking how poor the complaint handling and transparency have been. Up until this incident, I had no major issues with Lycamobile. But this experience has seriously damaged my trust. I do not recommend them. Update 11/06/2025 – Their public response contains false information. The £0 spending cap was active, confirmed by support, and a key condition of the contract. Misleading public statements may constitute misrepresentation. I’m still awaiting resolution.
Helpfully 👍 Edge is great man he solve my problem
Good connection, value for money. The bad thing is the app — it just a website link.
My Lycamobile number was unable to receive incoming calls and sms. Called 322 several times and several days and sent emails as well. No response at all. I am still facing the problems. No one attempted to reply to emails or answer calls. Today, after calling several times, one staff answered the call. But the problem hasn't been solved yet.
Today things have improved I would like to thank the person on here who sorted my Lyca mobile problem and let me go without paying that £60 as I did have a really bad experience with them for 2 weeks after the upsetting incident of losing or having my phone stolen in Italy. Then the disappointment of being scammed yesterday and the day before by nasty people who took my bank card details and looking forward to an Apple Watch that was a lie. However it’s all solved now and I am very happy with their support ! They just need more staff to answer the phone and a better Chat bot. They also need a quick way of getting a sim to people who lose their phones. Thank you Lycamobile for sorting my problem today!
Initially my SIM card went missing in the post and I was unable to get the problem resolved by email or telephone with multiple attempts. I have since had a reply to my email 7 days later and another SIM has been posted and received. Lyca is a good network as this is my second SIM but not so good if you need to speak to customer services.
My PAC request didn't go through properly. I spoke with Kavitha and answered all my issues professional. Kavitha corrected the issue and now my old number from my previous network has now transferred.
Restricted my unlimited data and told me to read the Terms and conditions and the fair use policy. Read it and saw I never breached it but was still cut off from using data. Was told to send an email and so I did and was told to wait for a reply in 24 to 48 hours. A week later they said they haven’t received it so sent it again while on the phone to the customer service representatives. Sent while on the phone and asked them to confirm if received. Was told it was received and that a reply would be given in 48 hours. 50 hours later I called for an update. They say we will send an email by end of day. No email…asked for a manager call cut off, asked for access to my data (the recordings of the calls I’ve made to them) as calls are monitored for training and monitoring purposes. Call cut off after being on hold for 10 minutes. Asked to for legal department, call cut off. Bet they reply to try save face. It’s actually a joke. Stopped me from sending messages now because I threatened to sue and because I asked for the calls. Never been rude to them once! I will try follow up and keep updated. Been blocked and sim cut off straight after I called them and they hung up.
Phone can’t connect to mobile data , unable to detect mobile service. Tried checking fitting of SIM card in its slot, restarted my iPhone, still not working. Terrible experience, how to make it work?
Good service Good data uninterrupted data
I’ve had one of the worst customer service experiences with Lycamobile. Their network quality dropped drastically after the first month of my contract—constant 4G signal issues, unusable data speeds, and no real effort to fix it. I reported this multiple times over the phone, but now their debt collectors are demanding “written evidence” of those calls made over 8 months ago. Seriously? Even worse, they initially refused to give me my PAC code, only releasing it when I reminded them of my legal rights. Their support team is dismissive, and now I’m being chased for money for a service that didn’t work. I also travelled abroad for a short time, but the poor service was the real reason I left. Their claim that I didn’t report the issue is simply false. To this day, their network is still bad in my area—my friend is stuck in a contract and dealing with the same poor coverage and no fixes, despite her complaints. I’ve now escalated this to Ofcom, and I would warn others to stay far away from Lycamobile. Their customer service is evasive, their contracts are traps, and they take no accountability.
Worst mobile company in the uk for trying to contact and when you do manage to , the assistant can hardly understand the English language
Bought a 1 month sim , been trying to cancel after first month and still unable too, bought the sim on 1 month tarrif thinking if you didnt pay you didnt get to use it but then emailed to say they would use debt recovery, emailed several time filling in paperwork as requested but no reply, avoid emailed lyca as suggested, 24hrs later still nothing ? for a week previously i have emailed their addresses as requested and no reply, today they have taken payment out ? this is a 1 month sim ? really avoid this company as they are a complete joke, they make cancellation impossible then say they wil geta debt company involved. 2 days later / 3 still no contact at all from lyca ? wow ? brilliant customer service - not !!? 9/6 still no contact from lyca ? nice !!
Perfect for my own
They failed to take payment from me via dd. It turns out you can not have 2 bills on the same bank account. I tried to have this switched, but was told to do online. The online system would never let me in. I cancelled one of the contracts. The second contract they routinely failed to take my dd. Then kept referring me to their pay online option, which would not let me in. I offered to pay by card over the phone. They can not do this. Eventually I told them, not my problem I have tried to make payment on multiple occasions. Then received a debt collection bill, paid this only to be rid of the useless beggars. Now I have a default on my credit report. This will definitely be getting processed through the regulator. Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!
